Unreliable Recording + Poor Support Follow-Up 1★
Great concept, but extremely frustrating in practice. I pay ~$150/year and have had multiple matches fail to record properly. One session stopped recording after only 2 games while my Apple Watch kept tracking score, meaning the app clearly continued partially running — but the video and analytics were gone. Later sessions stopped recording multiple times during a match, and another failed to detect court lines entirely. I followed all troubleshooting steps, enabled Focus Mode, had no calls or Bluetooth interruptions, submitted diagnostic logs, and provided device details (iPhone 17 Pro + Apple Watch Ultra 2). Support initially responded, then largely stopped following up despite ongoing issues. When it works, it’s fantastic. But for a premium-priced app, reliability matters — especially when you can’t replay a missed match. At this point, I do not recommend the app and will not be renewing my subscription unless reliability and support improve significantly.

Love my personal stats! 5★
So great to be able to watch myself and track my stats for each match. Super helpful for trying to improve specific areas that I’ve been practicing, and also evaluating how my match stats compared to my preset match objectives.

Some great potential but lacking in many features 2★
Removing the audio based auto setup help feature was a huge mistake as the swing stick never gets set perfectly and now a second device is required to make sure alignment is good. The desktop version has fewer features but reviewing it on a larger screen is much easier. It’s surprising that for AI scoring I have to go in and mark every player for basically every point that’s played.

Glitches 1★
This app is only useful to edit parts of videos, the other feedback is not useful whatsoever and when you ask it for example to show “only forehands” it doesn’t even show you only forehands. I played a 2 hour match and I inputted it into the app and it thinks I played against a ball machine for two hours. There are also thousands of glitches that happen when you try to export a video and it doesn’t work until the 200th time. This app feels like it was made in 1985.

Makes tennis fun! 5★
I just started playing tennis a few months ago, and the stick + app has made it even more fun 🙂 After practice and games, I love watching the highlights, also watching my swings in slow motion, that has really helped me improve. Highly recommended!

Disappointing 1★
I had high hopes for this app. Using their stick, I’ve tried to record four matches using a second device since I don’t own an Apple Watch. For all matches, I get “Court Undetected “. My iPad isn’t able to adjust the court view so all I get is a video of the match with no analytics. I’m frustrated beyond belief, and about ready to toss it. Not everybody has an Apple Watch. Do better!

FREE TRIAL SCAM!!! BEWARE!! 1★
I purchased the stand for $50 and it included 1 free month of SV Pro. When I enabled the month subscription, it charged me $179!!! No way to get a refund or contact support. Clearly designed to deceive people into thinking they are getting a free month of the app and charging them for a year.

Use it all the time 4★
I use this all the time15-20x/week. Video replay is great. AI is coming along. Not perfect, but makes reviewing video a lot more convenient. There are a couple of clunky things: the app always tries to do a global search when I’m picking my partner and opponents. Would be nice to have the option to only view My Friends. Would be a lot faster. The AI player identification for the advanced stats only works about 20% of the time. It takes 5-10 minutes to go through the manual identification process. Even so, the app is worth it. Will be even better as they work out the kinks.

Defective 1★
Not sure what is going on with my app but since they updated to AI scoring, the match recording feature is absolutely horrible. I am a Pro user so I paid good money for this feature, yet for the last year I couldn’t get one completed match without the recording freezing, and the few sets I managed to record I get no score because the app doesn’t recognize that I’m a pro user !! I’m using the latest IPhone 17pro, Apple Watch 9 with latest update so no equipment issues here. I don’t typically write bad reviews but reason I write this one is because I’ve reach to customers support with is basically non existent aside from awful ai that does everything possible to avoid giving away any real email to contact real human. After headache of finally reaching contact human screen (still no email just fill out screen) I waited weeks for response that was basically written by AI with Zero helpful information. If you gonna charge $180 for an app and give customers Zero help or even an opportunity to chat with a human, you are basically a thief !!! It’s a shame because I have a tennis business and I see lots of YouTube influencers advertising this app but so far it’s the worst app I’ve ever paid for !!! Fix it !!!!!!!!!!

How does 80% sound? 3★
This app works about 80% of the time. It records and edits your match footage getting about 80% right. It scores about 80% accurately. It processes successfully and uneventfully about 80% of the time. The line calls are not reliable enough for me to use…probably more than 80% but it simply isn’t good enough. For what I pay, it should be a lot better.

Used to be good, ads ruined it 2★
Used to be a good app, but as most software does, it sold out. I can handle some ads for a free product but I just received 10 ads in a row at the end of a video as I was trying to just close it. Would be nice if your software at least worked correctly before selling out.

Tennis is Great, Pickleball needs work 3★
This app is awesome for Tennis, I’ve used it several times for singles and it does a really god job tracking shots and the AI Scoring is pretty accurate as well. It is really cool to be able to see stats from matches I play. I’ve used it for doubles & Singles pickleball and it really struggles there. In particular in doubles it doesn’t categorize who is hitting each shot well. The shot placement is inaccurate a lot and it misses a lot of shots, especially volleys. Hopefully they work to improve that because the pickleball is really only useful for watching rallies. The shot stats are not accurate at all.

Was great but now lag and doesn’t show stroke mph 2★
It was working great! But for the past few recordings, it will capture me picking up balls, not show MPH when the camera is in good position. I get it when my camera is not ideal position but it should work when it is. The most annoying thing is the lag or skipping of points. Whole points are not getting captured. Not sure what’s going on.

Swing Vision Tennis Review 5★
I am. 63 year old 4.0 singles player. I'm a former D1 Athlete. Due to my advanced sports background I am a fanatic for statistical, and tactical information. Along with this, there is a reason for the old adage, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Swing vision give you over the top, advanced statistical data with match stats and shot stats. It also allows you to watch a 2 hr tennis match in 15-20 minutes, filter particular shots to view, such as, return of serves, forehands, etc. You can forward the video to friends or coaches for help. You can slow motion video in order to critique techniques and, or tactics. This is an amazing value and it is easy to setup once you get use to it, which for me took 3-4 set ups. I love it!

Tennis Review 5★
Currently, I am on IR for a total shoulder replacement. I will be returning to playing tennis in March 2026. Occasionally, I will record colleagues during their USTA tournaments. When I am playing, and recording, the analytics are exceptionally great. My colleagues have grown accustomed to me sending them to them after playing. Improvement is encouraged with the response in support when the videos have been hung up or inaccessible.

Tennis 5★
My first experience using video replay for feedback teaching tennis was in 1979 at the Vic Braden Tennis College where they had video tape cameras mounted on top of the fence. I loved it then ! Now 42 years later I found swing vision! I use it for my self but more importantly all my lessons and group workouts. Amazing technology and so easy to use. The feedback it gives my students is so valuable not just the visual but stats like speed of the ball and what type of spin. Swing Vision has helped me give students better feedback of the form because when they see themselves it is more impactful they if I just show them there swing and what we need to correct!! Thank you for an amazing product!

The SwingVision Pole 4★
The SwingVision App is decent. My review is on the SwingVision Pole. What needs to be improved is the clamp for the iPhone. The newer iPhones (ie. iPhone 17, iPhone 19 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max) are not able to be mounted on the clamp without interfering with the buttons on the iPhone. There needs to be a clamp that goes around the top and bottom of the iPhone so that the user is able to make screen adjustments without the clamp covering the screen.
US · recent
SwingVision accuracy 4★
The App is relatively inaccurate. Average serve speeds tend to be off fairly often and the app needs to be able to solve the problem of the ball hitting the net before dropping to the ground. Speed off the racquet would be better. The ServeSpeed algorithm is pretty accurate on serves. I checked against a Hawkeye serve and there was only a 2% difference. The ServeSpeed algorithm tends to underestimate groundstroke speeds by about 10% given Hawkeye data probably due to the trajectory of typical groundstrokes. Also, the claim of 99% accuracy on line calls is misleading as I assume it includes all the shots that aren’t close to a line.

Great asset for tennis players 5★
This app is amazing. It’s great for me to review myself on camera which is really one of the most important ways to improve. App is really great for producing highlight videos that I can keep forever to watch myself on video like the pros do. Also love the continual improvements that I see in the AI behind the app, makes it a breeze to use.

⭐️ Game-Changer for My Serve! 5★

Swing Vision for the Win! 5★
SwingVision says it’s about stats, but for our B-team crew it’s really about replaying the chaos no one believes. Sure, it’s humbling to learn my “big” serve is 68 mph, but the real joy is watching the time I nailed my partner in the head on a serve, Greg tripping over his own feet mid–split step, or Dave absolutely smoking a low-flying bird. The line calls and Apple Watch stuff are cool, but SwingVision’s true magic is capturing the goofy moments we swear actually happened—like my diving volley and chucking my racket over the fence. The tech is great, but the comedy is even better.

Amazing app for recording and automatically editing of dead time. Would like to try a bit more before I buy. It states that the free version has 2 hours of recording per month. When does that reset? First of the month or any 30 day period cannot exceed 2 hours?

SwingVision has improved my game 5★
I absolutely love SwingVision. The app does an incredible job breaking down my tennis stats and giving me a clear, visual understanding of my swing mechanics, footwork, and court positioning. Being able to actually see what I’m doing well, and what I’m not doing, has made a huge difference in how I train. The insights are easy to understand, the analysis is impressively accurate, and it’s helped me improve my game faster than anything else I’ve tried. Highly recommend for any player who wants to get smarter about their tennis.

Must have tool for tennis 5★
Swing vision is such a great tool. We record matches. And send them to the coaches and trainers. They watch them and come up with practice goals and ideas. Based off of what they see in the match, like bad form. Bad habits. Bad body language. We have seen improvements to our daughter’s game that are 100% due to having swing vision.

Only Getting Better! 5★
As a pickleball player, I had seen this in an ad and then saw some conversations about this on Reddit. I found a referral promo code for a discount that I saw worth the value it provides. I was wrong I would have paid more. I know I’m in pickleball early stages for the app, so I have seen the improvements every time. Lots of fun to share with my friends after we play as well!

Huge potential 3★
Purchased this app with swing stick exclusively for pickleball. The concept is great but definitely feels like it needs more refinement for pickleball specifically. One of the primary interests was line challenges and majority of the time it won’t let me scroll through the images and lately has been telling me to move closer to my phone. Want to love it but it needs more work!

So far very good 4★
I’m amazed at how much of the time the AI scoring is captured correctly. When it’s not however, I struggle to find the button for switching point winner when, for instance, the AI detects a second serve as well out but then awards the point to the server. Oddly, in this case after the 2nd serve was detected out, the point was awarded to the server, and the last shot was listed as ‘forehand winner’, which I assume was the returner hitting the long serve back to the server. When I entered the ‘edit point’ interface there was no button to switch the point winner, and all I could do was select a different reason for the server to win the point which they’d actually lost. Similarly, if it detects the wrong winner when that player had 40, I guess it views the rest of the points under that same server as a casual rally, and skips over them in the point by point. Even then, if I switch it to shot by shot, I still cannot scrub to those extra ‘rally’ exchanges to change them into actual points. The video just jumps to the next or previous exchanges that it interpreted as actual points. I did see an item in the 11.6 version patch notes that mentioned the switch point winner button no longer shows on unsupported sessions. Perhaps this is why the button is gone for editing? I just don’t know what an unsupported session means. Anyway, this is super cool, and the monthly option is obviously a great thing to have while the app is growing. If someone stops using it because a feature is still being improved, they properly do not have to invest their money during that period, which is terrific.

Not really free not ready for primetime 2★
One thing this app does really well is remove the space between points. However, the biggest problem is as soon as someone signs up and give you a 30 day trial and then put you into a $129 annual fee. The AI is supposed to label each shot as top spin backspin or flat and it fails miserably at doing this with Pickleball. It just calls everything a flat shot. Unfortunately, even though my playing partners and me were wearing different color, shirts and pants and hats, out of 28/3 shot drops attributed to me eight of them were actually my partner. Every third shot was called a drive regardless of whether it was a drop or drive. Additionally all of them are called flat even though virtually every third shot is hit with top spin regardless of whether it’s a drive or a drop. There’s a lot of potential here, but I’m not an investor in this project. If this was a great product, maybe their model works, but I think even for people that have the money to spend the force subscription chases them away. It seems rather shortsighted to me. Limits video to HD even if your phone can do 4k. I think the lower quality video may be partly to blame for the bad ai processing. Doesn’t keep score accurately. Maybe it gets better and maybe the 4k version is better. I used for pickleball and I sense that this may actually just be a tennis app that is trying to make money off pickleball but not doing it honestly. Seriously it doesn’t know spin and can’t tell a drop from a drive.

Amazing Tool But Needs Refining 3★
I’ve been using Swing Vision for a few months now, and I have to say it is an amazing app. I’ve been using the pro subscription, and there’s much to love about all you can do. At its base it’s just a video recorder, but the perks like serve speed and ball placement are a great way to help visualize how you’re playing and what you can improve. It’s also a lot easier to share clips and whole matches with friends using this app because it automatically splices videos at the end of the match. I love being able to choose favorite rallies / shots as well. However, there are still some serious kinks, especially for a service that calls for an over $20/mo subscription. For one, only being able to record in FHD instead of 4K or even QHD. I’m sure some of this is just hardware limitations but again, at the price point, I expect more. I also don’t like that I can’t input point by point scores after the match is over - you must have an Apple Watch for this. That seems an easy option to add. I also find the app has a hard time determining lines in various scenarios, which could be easily solved by allowing the user to choose custom court parameters. Overall, the UI is solid but there are some things that are kind of hidden when you are setting up and could make the user experience smoother and easier on the court when your opponent is waiting to play. Given what it *can’t* do, I think the >$20 price point is far too steep. It should be ~$12-$15, or closer to $100/year. I’m not sure I’ll keep the subscription atm, but I definitely want to see this app improve. There’s a lot of potential!

Great Coaching Tool 5★
I have been using this app for the past 3 weeks having been introduced to it by a friend of mine. The app will provide you with the speed of your shot, where your shots land and the type of spin with which the ball was struck. It reveals a lot about one’s game and is a great learning and coaching tool. I had some questions so I wrote the developer and my questions were answers promptly and courteously. They taught me how to edit shots I thought the A.I. had misclassified and it was very easy to do so. I purchased the annual subscription and find myself taping every one of my tennis sessions to learn more about my game. An added bonus is that one can adjust the playing speed to where you can view at .1 speed. That is equivalent to super slo-mo and allows a person to pinpoint what they are doing right and what needs improvement. I highly recommend this app for any tennis player seeking feedback about their game. It truly is a great tool.

Great app, but developers are getting greedy 3★
I’ve had this app since its early days pre-Covid. In the early years it was limited but I liked how it tracked shot speed, topspin RPM, serve speed etc. Accuracy also improved over the years which was great. I could measure my progress year on year in terms of the stats I mentioned. What ticked me off in the latest update is the developers putting stats older than 30 days behind a paywall without any prior notice. You can’t see much improvement or change within 30 days and they know that. Since I’ve never used the video, only the numbers, I don’t see why those should be paywalled when they use much less data than videos. Now they want $150/yr to access those stats which is a shame. At least give us the opportunity to have those stats emailed to us for our records. Or grandfather in early adopters for just those non-video stats. They definitely still have them on their servers cos all I need to do to access them is pony up the cash. Since I don’t use the video function, it makes absolutely no sense. I am disappointed in the developers cos now with this latest update it seems to be all about the money…

SwingVision Review – Transforming Player Development at SRQ Tennis 5★
SwingVision has completely changed the game for both my coaching and the experience I’m able to provide to my students. As a USPTA Elite Certified Pro running a high-volume junior program, I’m always looking for tools that give my players a competitive edge while also helping me coach more effectively — SwingVision delivers on both fronts. For My Students: SwingVision allows players to visually review their strokes, technique, and match play with real-time stats and video. It’s one thing for a coach to say “you’re dropping your elbow,” but a whole different level of learning when the player sees it for themselves. It reinforces key concepts, makes progress measurable, and helps players take ownership of their development. Whether it’s stroke analysis, serve percentages, or rally length, the data builds both awareness and confidence. For My Business: From a coaching business perspective, SwingVision adds major value. I can share customized video sessions with parents, highlight progress, and keep everyone in the loop with data-driven reports. It’s also a strong selling point for new clients — especially high-performance families who value advanced training tools. The ability to run recording sessions during match play and training has streamlined my feedback process and saved me hours of manual analysis. SwingVision gives my program a professional edge while staying accessible for players at all levels. I consider it an essential part of the development pathway at SRQ Tennis.

Autodidacts Delight 5★
For the autodidacts who are too busy to coordinate our schedules with the local pro, swing vision allows you to take your tennis education into your own hands. The auto edit feature really saves time and enables you to send your video to a remote pro for them to evaluate and give comments on what are you doing right and wrong. Totally asynchronous tennis education. Reviewing video of yourself allows you to correct your own mistakes and mark your progress. What a difference between your mind’s eye of what you think you’re doing and the video of what you actually are doing on the court. The highlight reels from matches makes it very easy to see your strengths and weaknesses. The scatter gram of where your shots go and the percentages in and out offer real metrics on what you need to work on. This is what modern tennis education should look like in 2022!

Not bad (updated review) 4★
After some initial glitches to get it to work on my watch, I’ve now used it a couple of times for some hitting sessions/clinics. It sometimes misreads shots - interpreting overheads as serves, but honestly that should be expected to some degree. It also misinterpreted some other shots (volleys as flat forehands, or sometimes calling a forehand a backhand) but I would say it gets it right about 85-90% of the time, which I think is a pretty good number for a watch based swing tracker. It’s cool to look over the data after you’re done and see what a hit by hit breakdown types of shots you hit, the MPH and RPM of those shots, and the other data available to you. It’s nice that it also tells you what you need to work on and what you did well post-session/match. I’m going to keep it and see if it continues to learn my game and get better. I think it’s worth a shot if you’re really into digging into the data behind your game and how to apply that data to improve.

I wish I had this years ago 5★
SwingVision is the killer tennis app that I always dreamt of when I was younger, but never imagined would exist in my lifetime - at least not without some magic or wizardry. But here it is, and it’s everything I could ever want (and more!) out of a tennis app. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and I can’t play tennis without it. I’ve quickly leveled up my game because of the automatically edited videos and from viewing the stats of my shot analysis. Watching the rally highlights from my matches gives me so much more joy and value from each session of tennis. Even my hitting partners are hooked on it now and always want me to setup SwingVision so they can see the highlights after our sessions. Before, I used to edit videos from my hitting sessions manually on my iPhone and it would take me hours. Now I can instantly get all the best rallies, the rallies over 5 shots, I can favorite individual rallies, and I can share them with friends or on social media. My only gripe - I wish there was a referral credit for each paying member I referred to SwingVision :) I think 5 or 6 of my friends have signed up for SV because of me!! Honestly I think it’s the most incredible app and use case ever created for the iPhone. Thank you SwingVision team!

Just get it 5★
Seriously just get it. These guys were noticed in Apple Keynote for a reason. The app is awesome and the customer service is great. (The founder is very active on forums and emails) If you are hesitant (which I usually am after being burned by other apps that don’t live to the hype), this one is actually the real deal and worth paying the $6/month and even the $13/month for better resolution and the convenience of more cloud storage. Compared that to buying a: -Smart Radar gun $400 ( and it won’t track placement on court, won’t tell you your swing-type, nor automatically produce highlights/stats for you) -Coaching $25-$50/hr (depending how well you learn independently, but there are a lot of resources here from pros and online) -Included Cloud Storage equivalent of >200gb -Tennis Community where you can see games from across the world All for skipping one Starbucks coffee a month. Just try it, and if you have a group of friends/family, even better as you can make individual profiles for them and you can all pitch in. If you have 3 friends/family + yourself, $13/4 people a month. Now you are only just paying ~$3/person. Really a lot of value, and if you are serious about tennis highly recommend!

Awful 1★
I had such high hopes for this. The app isn’t compatible with iPad so you’re stuck with the tiny screen to edit everything which would be fine with the software is better. First I do want to say that it’s an amazing idea and the video quality is excellent. The AI processing is downright awful. I’ve recorded about 6-7 hours of plays now. Every single video that was processed cuts out at least 1-3 rallies. Even adjusting the setting to include 2 seconds before and after, the rallies are cut extremely short. There’s no points tracking on the pickleball side at all so when it cuts out 3 rallies you don’t know the scoring or what happened. Sometimes rallies that are sectioned out includes footage from the previous points so it ended up duplicating. If you want to include all of the rallies, you’d have to manually adjust every rallies. When you have to sit and edit 150 rallies, what’s the point of the app. Might as well do it manually or just watch the entire thing. So awful. I can’t believe it costs so much money.

New User!! 5★
Just started using SwingVision about a month ago but I have to say I’m thrilled with the immediate results. Having the opportunity to see myself on court really highlights the areas of my game that need the most work. I think its greatest asset is that it shatters perception and allows you to live in reality. For example, I thought I was really starting to “hit out” or get full extension on my ground strokes. They really felt like they were starting to groove. After seeing myself on a coupe ball machine sessions and then a match I saw I was still keeping my elbow too close to my body and “t rexing” my strokes. I’m currently working on changing that. This is the type of thing that SwingVision allows you to see proof of so you can make definitive changes to your game! Good luck to you all!

Holy smokes!!! 5★
This app may be the only good thing to come out of 2020. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually written an app review, but this one deserves it. Incredible use of AI — and it doesn’t feel like a clunky “early” version of cool technology at all. It’s seamless, from making it really easy and obvious how to set it up (even including which equipment I can use), to scary accurate shot tracking and analysis, to a single tap for cloud recording so my device doesn’t fill up with video. I’ve already been able to improve my game because it’s so easy to see now how I play at a holistic level. Could not be more impressed. I hope everybody at the company sees this: Fantastic work you guys. Please keep it up! I will keep telling everyone I know who plays tennis about this app.

Love it so far! Just a few things... 4★
This app is fantastic and I’m very impressed with how well the AI processes the video. I only have two complaints: 1. There seems to be a problem with the Apple Watch-iPhone recording integration. I try to have the two sync up (so that I can more easily favorite certain rallies). But whenever I try to initialize the match on my watch, it tells me to go to the record section of the iPhone app, which I do, but then nothing happens after that. There isn’t an Apple Watch prompt. 2. I’m perfectly happy paying $60 a year for the semipro option. I think that’s completely fair given how well the app works. But it would be truly fantastic if you allowed 1080p/30fps or at least 720p/60fps recording at that price point. Going up to $120 per year for those increases in quality is rather pricey.

Almost great 4★
This is SO much better than anything else if you want auto-edited video of yourself and game and point-level stats from your match. Especially for the price, if you can get the deal with the swing stick included. They even host your videos on their cloud. BUT I’m particularly keen to see my stats after playing, and I’ve just come to accept that unless I want to invest serious time correcting mis-tags in the video afterwards, the stats aren’t going to be perfect. I’d say their AI scoring correctly tags 85-90% (not lining up the net cord and far service line is kinda key, but not easy to do correctly). So, over the course of a 3 set match or over several matches it will still give you a great sense of how and when you’re missing or making shots or overall patterns for your most common shots. And, seeing the video of yourself alone is worth that price if you play even a few times a month—I had no idea I stopped following through on my forehands until I watched a recent match that I had thought went pretty well! So, overall definitely worth it if you love tennis or pickleball and are serious about improving. Just know it’s not going to be perfect…yet anyway.

Terrible business decision (30 day restriction) 1★
I love this app, and think it's fantastic. That being said, the most recent update (March 2023) that restricts all recordings older than 30 days to the pro version is absolutely terrible. The limitation of 2hrs per month is already incredibly restrictive, and means that you need to be strategic when choosing what to record if you're going to analyze your game. You can't really internalize a change to your game in less than 30 days so if you want to compare that's about the minimum you'd need to record yourself. Now that recordings are restricted on the free version, you have no way of comparing old footage, and only have 2 hrs to record. Makes the app completely worthless and impractical. Now users who have been using the free version are going to be extorted for $150/yr to see all historic recordings. Tennis is not a cheap sport, and this is further increasing the cost. TLDR; Phenomenal app, terrible business decision.

Has potential 3★
As a former player and now professional coach I was really excited at the potential it had. Backed by Roddick and Blake I was expecting more accuracy and more user friendly. It has issues tracking serves and the data gets mixed up on practice sets. It also wont let me dial the court in from the apple watch if youre playing a set. Its almost impossible to line up the line to the service line in the blaring sunlight without the apple watch. Not so much an issue at night. App has trouble with shadows. My thoughts are its really great but not worth paying that much monthly with all the glitches and the data not adding up and contradicting itself. This is an issue if youre coaching high level players not so much if youre a club player looking to have something cool to practice with. Will give it another shot for a month to see if they resolve these issues.

Best tennis app I’ve ever used! 5★
For so long I had been waiting for an app like this one! It’s hard to find players to hit with nearby where I live. This app has been perfect for helping me find other players in my area who are a similar skill level as me. The in-app messaging system makes it easy to schedule practices/matches. The app’s design layout is also very intuitive. The recommendations I get from Swing Pro help target areas of my game that need improving. Each week I look at my match stats and see where I need most improvement and make that my focus for the week. Within a year of using the app I’ve gone from a 3.0 to a 4.0! I recommend it to any tennis player or coach!

A colossal mess since watchOS 5 2★
Swing used to be my go-to tennis workout tracker, but it's impossible for me to recommend it anymore in light of the veritable litany of bugs that have rendered the app almost unusable on watchOS 5. When the app finally manages to start a workout, glitches pervade the in-session experience: sometimes the Settings screen will persistently appear and make it impossible to view in-practice stats (or even stop the practice), workouts often fail to get saved to Apple Health, pressing the “Stop” but won’t actually stop the session…the list goes on. The Swing watchOS app has always lacked a little bit of polish around the edges, which is fine, but this degree of usability-hindering behavior often leads me to just use Apple’s Workout app and spare myself the headache. Were these issues to be ironed out, this would once again be among the best apps for an Apple Watch-owning tennis player available on the App Store.

Excellent way to visualize improvement 4★
I love this app. As a strongly visual learner, I really benefit from being able to see what I’m doing and find ways to work with my coach for improvements. For example, the AI analysis of top spin, flat or slice on ground strokes has aided me to boost my desired top spin, especially on my two-handed backhand. Knowing the actual speed of my serves and ground strokes encourages my efforts to increase. I highly recommend this app for people at any level who want to improve. I simply set up my iphone on the fence at our public courts. I use the readily available rubber hands holder for cell phones to connect through the fence and set horizontal. A plastic shower curtain ring serves to adjust the vertical. I’m a recreational 3.5-4.

Succumbing to a Business Model 2★
I’ll start by saying this is a great idea and the app works well. I got the app last summer and have enjoyed using it to analyze my game. It was a little pricey but I got it under the impression they were going to continue updating it and I would benefit from the improvements. But it’s looks like they’re just appealing to investors. Instead of creating one good app for people to enjoy at a fair price, now they have two over priced tiers of subscription. Essentially, my yearly subscription is being neglected and all improvements are being added to a new “Max” tier subscription that is way over priced. Choosing to build a business model to attract investors rather than make a good app for tennis players is going to be the downfall of this app once a competitor comes into play. I definitely won’t be renewing…

Easy to use. Amazing results. 5★
Been using the app as a PRO subscriber for 3 years now and when I look at what the app did then versus now, is like a black & white tv to an 8K LED. As a stats nerd, I like playing with raw data. And the shot A.I. is amazing along with the auto editing tool that removes all the non-playing time between rallies and points. Question. Just got the email regarding the Swing Stick. I wanted to purchase it via the link in your email at the sweet $50 intro price however it just connected me to the previous generation phone stick. Also do you still offer the $500 lifetime subscription for us “early adapters”? Much appreciated.

Game changer 5★
SwingVision has been an absolute revelation. The slow-motion replays are magic—they let me pause mid-swing to spot exactly where my racket drop is off during those high-pressure points. No more guessing; I can replay a netted kick serve in excruciating detail and adjust on the spot, turning practice frustrations into quick fixes. But the real edge comes in match play tactics. The AI breaks down shot depth, accuracy, and rally patterns like a personal coach. Post-match heatmaps reveal where I’m over-relying on slice (guilty!), helping me mix in more aggressive inside-out forehands to keep rallies unpredictable. Worth every penny—highly recommend for recreational players chasing that next NTRP bump.

Outstanding app for training new players 5★
I have been using this app for about a month now, and I found it a great help in training and coaching my ten year-old grandson. By reviewing the videos after practice, we are able to see things that we might have missed during practice because we’re able to review each practice after it’s over. Both the coach and I particularly like the fact that it shows you from practice to practice what you have improved on, and the stats that it provides helps to show where the coach needs to spend more time on teaching fundamentals.

Great app with some minor drawbacks 4★
This app is a game changer for me. I’ve been able to improve my stroke just by watching the highlights. My favorite part is the video splicing because I used to have to do that myself and it took so long to manually splice. The main frustration I have with the app is the constant reminder that I don’t have the pro subscription. I purchased the semi-pro subscription and I still see all the features that I don’t have access to because I don’t have the better subscription. I wish they just made those pro subscription features hidden so I don’t have to constantly be reminded that I have the cheaper subscription.

So easy and SO COOL - So fun!!! 5★
I have had nothing but positive experiences with SwingVision. It is insanely easy to use - I have a cheap tripod and I just point my phone at the court and SV figures it all out. I can’t believe it gets such accuracy from a single phone - shot type, spin, speed, landing location, it is so great. My favorite feature is that it auto deletes all the dead time between shots and then I can trivially easily filter for a particular shot. So after playing an hour, I can see all my slice backhands (or kick served, or whatever). I love to show all my friends when we play and it always wows them! It is fun!

Wow!! 5★
This app is incredible and so much fun! Amazing how the app quickly breaks down your match into the 5 longest points and the points with the most running. Also you can watch all of your serves or forehands or backhands. Great for being able to see things you want to improve. Awesome to see where your shots are landing and the miles per hour that you’re hitting the ball. I can’t believe everything I’ve done so far has just been with the free version. Will definitely be upgrading to the yearly plan soon. It is a no-brainer to go ahead and give it a try.

Refreshing 4★
I am very happy with this app. I have subscribed for the pro version and using it 3 times a week mainly to track score, stats. The major flaw I noticed is when using the iwatch in the wrist of your forehand arm to track shots, it consistently misinterpret serves by overheads. Being a developer myself, i think an easy fix would be for the app to track the first shot of every point and every shot after a “fault” as a serve. Don't look for type of shot or movement pattern, every first shot would always be a serve. Hope I could see that fix coming with the future version. Other than that, I enjoy this app very much and I am happy to support a refreshing idea like this is.

Impressive Features 5★
This is definitely a game changer whether you’re looking to nerd out over some statistical data or just posting on social. It takes away hours of self editing time and introduces features you don’t necessarily need but can appreciate. I’ve been using this app for some time now and sure the beginning stages were bumpy but it seems to be running real smooth. Additionally, I notice every update the app gets even better and smoother. I do wish it had slightly faster processing speed for longer sessions.

A must have for tennis players! 4★
This app is SO cool to see how you’re swinging and progressing. I video track using my phone with a small tripod they recommend to hang on the gates. I also track on my Apple Watch. My only problem is I noticed that even after I’ve ended my practice on my Apple Watch and received my summary, if you keep swing vision app open, Apple Watch will still record as if you’re still exercising until you do an additional “end” and exit out. It should just stop after you get your summary or realize you’re not playing anymore and prompt an end. It would also be nice if you can view your rally highlights by speed.

Want to Love it but AI has lots of holes and no manual overrides 2★
Ai isn't perfect in cutting the rallies and there is no way to watch the time between rallies that ai did not realize there is a point being played. It skipped almost 2 minutes of our game at times. This isn't an issue if the app lets us create our own rally sets. Also we are unable to delete rallies easily, skip to desired rally number, filter says it can see all favorites rallies but it doesn't show on the ux and there is no help desk to easily contact to request support on how to do it if it is possible. On a higher level would wish it could tell us errors or some sort of statistic on that. I'll continue using swing vision hoping they resolve some of these.

Great even for lower level players! 5★
I’ve only been playing tennis for a few years. I’m a 3.0 or, on good days, a 3.5 player. This app is - by far - my favorite app. The video replay helped me correct an error in my serve that my instructor has tried to fix but I could never see it. Once I replayed my server in slow motion it made all the sense in the world. Even without filming, the ability to real-time track my game - the score, whose serving, first and second serves, aces and double faults, etc. - has been wonderful. Get this app. It’s amazing.

ahall 3★
Primary benefit of SwingVision is the ability watch back my match for learning purposes, and if you have a coach it’s an easy way to share with them. That said the auto cuts sometimes cuts out points. For line calling it is not nearly as accurate as stated. Sometimes it gets close calls correct, sometimes wrong, and sometimes it is way off (no matter if the ball was clearly in or close). If you returned the ball in case it ended up going in it tags your return for a challenge, so can’t even use it to challenge calls much of the time. Serve speed is relatively all over the place, it not irregularly says my serve was above 110 or so (it’s not).

Great for tennis players 5★
Really cool technology. It’s crazy how accurate it is. Videos come out in great quality, and the all the stats are great to look at afterwards. I wish the swing stick was a bit more stable hanging on a fence. It’s quite stable when put on top of the fence but when put into a fence hole it’s a bit unstable. With the video processing and stats this app makes it easy to truly analyze your game and see how you can improve. Great price too. Would recommend for anyone who’s trying to improve their game at any level

The next best thing to a personal coach 5★
Went back to playing tennis because of the pandemic and found out about this app. Clearly it was instrumental for me to not only get back to my old form but improve it, which I thought wasn’t possible without a coach. I use it paired with the phone camera and boy, oh boy, it does the trick. I know exactly where my shots go, what speed, if it’s a spin or flat or slice, etc. All the stats available after the match and tells you what you should work on to improve. It’s amazing.

Fun, and valuable 5★
Over been using the app and stick for about 10 weeks, recording and reviewing Pickleball games. The recordings are of excellent quality, and the removal of dead space allowing full viewing is worth the price. The replay controls with slow motion is excellent. The stats are interesting and will only improve as they mature the pickleball product. The company appears to have good momentum and worth the annual investment, especially if you are working to improve your game.

Worth the cost of just editing 4★
App is brilliant. I’ve been waiting 10 years for an app like this. It can be your own personal coach backed with real data. I’d give it 5 stars but my first recorded 3 set match is stuck on a black screen and have not got a fix. I also don’t know if the raw video is lost. Still waiting patiently on support to get back with me with a fix. I only got a response until I actually became a subscriber. Still, I’ve used it 4 times with no problems now. It would be really cool if you could tie multiple smart phones together to get angles of both ends of the court. Exciting to think about.

Worst Support Staff 1★
I’ve been using this app since August 2023. In that time I’ve opened 3 support things for the same issue and I’ve been left no answers every time. On top of this they are coming out with a price increase while not even fixing or making sure their software and product actually performs well. There have been several sessions I’ve had where the ball is mid flight and it cuts off and goes to the next one. Or where it will mark it out or in and the ball when to the left and it marks the right side of the court. It’ll go deep right and it marks the left inside. I was excited and liked the idea of this app at first but honestly to me personally it’s all hype and no actual use for real games or even practices. That being said I mean specifically ball machine practice. It is literally the worst thing in the world for ball machine practice. The only thing I’ve truly found it useful for is serve practice and that’s about it. Everything else about it is lack luster and you’d have a better time just recording yourself normally and trying to improve that way than this “AI” feature.

Dishonest and Scummy Operations at this Place 1★
Shot placement and line calling are inaccurate and getting it to sync with Apple Watch causes way more hassle than it’s worth. Tried to contact support and they were unhelpful. I failed to convert to their paid plan, they sent me an emailing asking for feedback on why. In return for the feedback they promised an additional 60 day trail. After completing the feedback form, they only then mentioned that I would be required to sign up for an annual plan in order to get the free 60 days. I felt this was extremely scummy, dishonest and honestly disgusting. To bait their customers (those who didn’t convert I might add) with an offer of free trial, only to hide it behind an annual plan. Be advised, there was absolutely no mention of the annual plan before I submitted the feedback. I emailed them to complain about this behavior and they failed to reply. It’s been over 2 weeks with no response. I would avoid this app as its line calling and shot placement has inaccuracies as it is (why I didn’t convert). Not even mentioning the disgusting behavior on display by Swupnil Sahai and team.

Poor ball tracking accuracy, no customer support 2★
I was initially very excited to get this app to help improve my tennis game. However, over the last few sessions I have notice that the ball bounce location estimates are extremely poor in quality for a significant number of rallies. I’m talking off by several feet. I don’t understand how this could be so poor and be a product. I have seen better tracking on other public facing videos but have never been able to reproduce it myself. I emailed customer support several days back but am yet to hear back from anyone. I’m very underwhelmed so far. I’ll update this review if things get better at any point.

Great Idea but Not Geared for the Weekend Player 3★
The video function is excellent but if you sign up for the Semi Pro version you don’t get the full functionality of the video: no line calling, being the most prominent example. So for a person that plays , say, twice a week and had no need for the Pro version, you end up getting short changed. Also, the video can’t be seen on anything other than an Apple browser. Despite instructions stating that the video can’t be seen on Chrome, it can’t. On Chrome, the audio plays but the video is a dark screen.

Pickleball Coach 3★
I use this tool to do paddle reviews and analytics for metrics like serve speed, placement consistency, and others. The tennis version has both a ball machine option as well as a serve drill option for the app that the pickleball version does not and it became very useless to try it in simple rally setting. The serve speed avg seemed accurate, however, the lows were well below 20mph and the highs were over 100mph on legal pickleball serves. I’d be in the Guinness book of records if that were true. My avg though is high 50’s to near 60 so that’s actually correct. Please, please, please, add the ball machine and serve drill tools to the app!

Warning: Do not get locked in! 1★
As a long time paying user with over 200 sessions, my advice to anyone considering getting started with this app or subscribing is export EVERY session after recording and *expect* that eventually your data will be locked and inaccessible. I no longer can access any of my old data (including statistics— not just video) and support’s response was “ We have recently implemented a lock on sessions that are older than 30 days for accounts that are not yet Pro Subscribers. Apologies for the inconvenience. To unlock older sessions, you must upgrade your account to Pro.”. This basically means that your data is held captive unless you spend $$$. Do yourself a favor and avoid the entrapment!!
