Not really in love with this app. It’s only good for a year then you have to pay/reup. EVERY TIME you open the app, it locks the screen with “tip of the day” which slows down loading songs. Not a fan.
Great App and Great Service
This totally changes the game and pumps up baseball players as they walk up to bat. The kids absolutely love hearing their favorite song and it keeps the fans engaged. As far as the app and how it works you can tell the developers put a lot of thought into the user experience. It is easy to use and a great value. I just upgraded to the professional announcing and it was easy to set up, was done in less than 24 hours, and worked immediately when I opened the app. Great work!!
Everything costs extra
Aside from the immediate cost. You do have to pay additional fees for EVERY SINGLE PLAYER. I won’t recommend this for anyone. There’s not even a “free” option with commenter voices. Not a fan of how the app looks either.

I have been doing the walkup songs for my daughter’s team for a few seasons now and I love using this app! It is so easy to order pro voicing and the turnaround time is so fast! I will definitely continue to use this app for any future seasons.

It works. Takes some getting used to I prefer prime music and it doesn’t work well with it so I have to use Apple Music. Doesn’t flow smoothly on the baseball field with no Wi-Fi. But it works. You’ll need to watch the training videos.

This app does not easily get shared or used. The whole point is to be able to share it with whoever is announcing and that just does not happen.

We added walk up intros to our music. They were super quick (sometimes only 10 minutes) in making it easy to redo everything and make the correction. Super impressive!
It’s ok but the whole 3 players thing
So I was using this app for my sisters softball team, and I had put 2 of their walk up songs in and then it tells me that I can’t add another one because I have to pay. I feel like that whole thing is stupid. People buy this app thinking that they can have a good time with it and then they find out they have to pay. Just saying

Surprised
I found the app easy to use and upload songs, but I find it very disappointing in order to have announcements that you need to pay a cost for each individual player on top of a fee for something else.
Great app, snarky support team
This app is great on iOS (challenging on android). It lets you change up the roster and swap out songs as often as you like, and the professional voice recording is inexpensive and makes a great impact.
God help you if you reach out to customer support. They get really annoyed when you can’t follow their instructions and they make you feel like you must be an idiot. So be prepared for that.

Super easy to use! Quality is amazing! Even if you’re clueless at first. The app walks you through step by step. There’s also many options to give the kiddos the best experience during the entirety of the game from warm ups / start / during / finish!
One problem
This app is awesome! However there’s a delay after tapping the player. Yes I’ve tried all the different tap methods and the music is downloaded into my Apple Music acct. Even after all that there’s still like a 2sec delay when trying to play the music. I have moved to the Dugout Dude app and there is zero delay. Would definitely come back if yall could get rid of the delay.

Best Sports music app
I absolutely love this app. I use this to do announcing for our high school games as well as our daughters club softball team. I love that we can pick famous known announcers or use our own voice. My daughter’s team is a huge fan of Alan Roach and we have used his voice for their team two years in a row. Thank you for such an amazing product!

Don’t waste your valuable time
Spent three hours creating teams and doing voice overs. Used it last night and it was great. Today I open the app and it has erased everything and wants me to sign up again. After trying to navigate an app that doesn’t have Settings or similar button to login. A message popped up asking if I’d like to restore a previous team. When doing that, the team showed back up but only with the first 1/3 of the work that I have done saved. Don’t waste your time only to have your heart broken in the next day. The only customer service is a Q&A unless you try to go onto their Facebook page.
Why pay
Not having a free version is ridiculous! You have to pay for voices and things but I’m doin all the work and paying for the music on Apple Music I should not have to pay to use the app

The ease of use, and getting to have our favorite MLB announcer introduce our boys this season really gets everyone amped up for the game. So easy
It was so easy to set up all the kids on the team. Super easy to attach a song and get it exactly how they wanted it. Michael Araujo did a phenomenal job at voicing the professional intros! Would not recommend any other app.
Best team announcer app ever
They are fast to send you their voice recordings, and if you need a redo on a name, they will fix it and send it that same day. Amazing work and makes my job as a baseball mom easier.
Song delay
I hate this app. I love how it looks, I love how easy it is to set up. I hate the song delays when I press play. Yes I read the help section on this and did everything it told me to do and still some games I’d have a 20-30 second delay from pressing it to start and it actually starting. Wasn’t worth the stress anymore and I got tired of constantly researching how to make it not have a delay. Switched to another app and it has been a night and day improvement on this issue
Not for iPhone
Not for iPhones. Not only is it not compatible with iPhones, I can’t use with my Spotify subscription. When a mom on my team tried to share our team with me, the app forces me to pay for each song or pay for an Apple Music subscription. I will not be renewing my subscription.
Exceptional app

I have used this app to order professional voices and team intro songs for my son’s little league. It was a seamless experience and a great price yes, please.
Great app, however…
I really love this app. However, I have some issues that I believe could be fixed to make this app 5 plus stars. 1) something that would really be awesome would be the ability to “fade in” a song with the announcement. Some players want their song to start at a specific time. The ability to “fade in” a song would make the song with announcement sound so much smoother and more professional. 2) I cannot find the ability to do a “text to speech” announcement like other walk up apps. I only see the ability to record our own voice or purchase professional voices. Having the option to do text to speech announcements would be great. 3) when editing the song with the announcement there is a slider bar at the bottom that enables the song/speech to be even volumed or one louder than the other. I am finding that in my opinion, the option to have the voice announcement louder then the song, and then, once the voice announcement is over, the song volume should automatically increase would be awesome. I have been choosing the “even” option. It is usually adequate for most walk up intros. However, sometimes when even is selected you can barely hear the voice over the music. Then I will move the slider to try a louder voice. But then the music volume is to low after the announcement is done. That is why having the ability to have the music automatically increase after the announcement is over would be super beneficial. I really like this app and feel that having an update to address these 3 issues would put this app over the top. Thank you for considering my suggestions…
Perfect App, even better customer service
I have been using this app for about 2 years now for travel baseball. Recently, I decided to purchase the voiceover for the intros and I was not disappointed. The quality is unquestionable and it’s great that it comes from a MLB stadium announcer. When I tried it myself, my voice sounded like a dying wildebeest and there was no way I was going that route.
The app is very simple to use and I love how you can overlap the announcer/music and control the song to exactly your liking. It quickly displays your music already on your device, with various ways to organize songs.
I recommend this to any coach out there, as the kids love hearing their names out loud followed by their favorite song. In the two years of using this, not once has it crashed or suffered from ‘bugs’.
More importantly I wanted to stress the unbelievable service I received from the developer and Mr. Motter. I purchased 13 voice intros roughly 3 days ago and just noticed hours before game time I put the wrong number on a player. I emailed my issue expecting at least a couple of days to get it fixed, but they fixed it within the hour! Casey Motter even followed up to ensure the accuracy, you don’t get that service in these times. I can’t thank you guys enough and I highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone. Money well spent!

FANTASTIC Customer Service
I’ve been using Ballpark DJ to play walk-up songs for my sons baseball team for a couple seasons now and it’s extremely user friendly. My daughter just started softball and I volunteered to do walk-up songs for her team as well using BallparkDJ and they requested voicing intros on top of the walk-up songs which was new to me. I didn’t realize that you could record your own voicing along with the option to order professional voicing so I went ahead and ordered professional voicing. When I realized I didn’t have to buy professional voicing after the fact, Ballpark DJ’s support team (Jack specifically) was extremely supportive and very quick to reply to my questions and needs.
I will recommend this app to literally everyone who needs this kind of service! Top quality app for sure.
Outstanding Customer Service
Not going to lie, the app for me was a little tricky. I got the basics down and have it doing what I need to do, but it’s capable of so much more. I ordered the pro-voicing, have some of the walk up songs loaded and it sounds great. You can select the size of the song, fade the music, soften the music during the announcement and also set an order for the announcement and the music. It’s a really cool app and I’m enjoying it. Only have one gliche sometimes the music won’t play, but I reached out to support and they are already looking into it. Customer service is extremely responsive and helpful. Also, my pro-voicing was done in less than 24 hours. Thank you Chad & Ballpark DJ! I highly recommend this app the $6.99 for the app and the $ for the pro-voicing is worth it!
Best boost for our team
I purchased this not sure how well it was going to be. I had purchased a different one and it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be at all. This app is so easy to navigate. Chad is very easy to work with and you can tell he really cares about the consumer and will go out of his way to make it work. I contacted him last minute needing 2 new players added. There were some technical issues on his end and he sent me his personal number and asked me to call him and we would get it set up. He went above and beyond. I suggest getting the team intro. Everyone in the stands went wild when I played it. I had other teams asking me what app I was using because it sounded so good and professional. The boys loved hearing their name and the song of their choice as they walked up to the plate. Will use again and again. Thank you Chad!

We have 3 travel baseball teams,With Ball Park DJ. I have all 3 teams set up with Super Voice with an actual MLB anouncer, As well as in between inning music set up, Andddd pitcher warm up music for every Starter & Reliever pitcher! Wait Theres moreee! We also have the option of in game play calling, if a great play is made or pitcher strikes out someone or the side,,Base hits, HR's , Also have a team introduction before the game! Its truly almost endless on what you can do, its a matter of how proficient a user can be and what you want to do during the game, It's truly an amazing App and a real blessing for all of our teams and for the kiddos & parents! Almost a Home Run
When you purchase a song from iTunes this isn’t an issue and the app is awesome. However the issue is with songs not purchased but used through Apple Music. It does NOT give you the option to soften music (granted they do list this as a drawback) but when you do use songs they have a tendency to drown out the audio intros even when the setting is at max for intro vs music.
This doesn’t happen all the time and doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for the issue. I play it once and can’t hear the intro. I stop it again and no issue.
Obviously I can’t trust this in a game so having to buy every song for over 60 kids isn’t cost effective. I don’t see the issue why this can’t be an option if you download it to your library on your phone. Why will a song bought from same source work
7U & 8U Southern Illinois Bullets
This will be our second year using the intro and walk out songs.. our boys absolutely love them as well as the parents! I have had so many people ask me where I got the intros and I immediately direct them to here! The quality is amazing and it’s like they are playing for a real major league team! We could not be happier!
Recently I had to get a new iPhone and wasn’t able to share my existing team with the new phone due to a virus not letting me access it which made me think I lost all my intros and recording.. I sent a message to customer service and on the SAME day they were able to get me the recording back! Excellent customer service and worth every penny spent! Thank you Casey Motter and BallPark DJ! My players Thank you!
Not dependable
I got asked by parents to do walk up songs for our team. Our 8-9year olds wanted walk up songs. I found this app, downloaded it, then had to pay for the upgrade since we have 10 players. I’m only doing songs, not doing announcements so I can’t comment as to how that part works. I have used this at 2 games so far and the app is glitchy. It will NOT work on certain players. Each time they come to bat I feel awful because I check the app songs at home before the game and it works. I email myself the link so I can use it on my iPad and have my phone free to do pics/videos of the game. The iPad is tested at home to make sure the songs play through and usually works at home. At the game, after using it for a few hours at a time it doesn’t work consistently. To pay $7 bucks for the app and not have it work like a well oiled machine has really turned me off from this. I’m embarrassed each time a kid walks up and it’s crickets for him 😞 Please, please fix this.
Easy, Dependable & Professional
Do not waste your time on other apps like I did. I cannot stress how much I love this app. It is so easy and the turnaround time is very quick. The little league kids love hearing their name professionally announced and walk out song. I have used Casey Motter and Michael Araujo. Motter is AI generated voicing, which I noticed worked well for kids with common names, but the kids with more unique names didn’t sound as great. Michael Araujo does it himself and each announcement sounded authentic, A++. Another pro, I’ve ran into situations where the other team didn’t have their team mom/speaker so they were able to import their team to me so I could play their songs for them. Backup your team and this app won’t fail you! Worth the money!

I’ll start by saying, this is my first ever app review and i’ve used apple products for over ten years now. That’s how incredible this app is! If you’re reading this and trying to determine which app to get for your team’s walk-up music, stop reading and get this app now!
This app is so user friendly, so intuitive, SO SIMPLE to set-up, you’d think it wouldn’t meet ALL of your needs, BUT IT DOES. I started by using my own voice to announce the players and it was easy to do and honestly sounded great. Being able to very easily edit where you want the song to start and exactly where you want the players name to be announced was great as well.
But being able to add the actual voice of the Braves announcer for each kid made this app jump into the “pro” category! Others have commented on this as well, but the turn-around time to get the recordings back was just THREE HOURS!!! That kind of customer service simply doesn’t exist anymore. Thank you Casey Motter!!! (Atlanta Braves announcer) And thank you app developers!

Must-have app for any baseball team
This is really one of the coolest things I have ever used. I purchased the premium package, which is very reasonably priced, and Johnny created the most awesome announcing experience I have ever heard. I think that every possible scenario is covered. It truly sounds like we have a professional announcer at every game calling all of the plays. The kids (and their parents) absolutely love it. I would highly, highly recommend this program. For a few extra dollars, get the premium package and have Johnny set it all up for you. I’m so glad I did. He is awesome! It is so much better than I could ever dream, and simple to use. You will not be disappointed. Teams approach me at every tournament and ask where I got it. Such a cool experience for everyone!
Disappointed
When I originally purchased the app it was clearly advertised as a one-time payment, which influenced my decision to buy it. I had no intention of paying for a subscription. I would not have purchased the app had I known a year later the pricing model would be changed to a subscription - and at the same price you would have paid for the one time fee! Just seems greedy tbh - despite their responses about updating the app.
I truly believe the honorable thing would have been to grandfather in those who had previously purchased the app as a one-time fee. Instead I was told to ask Apple for a refund - something Apple doesn’t do for purchases more than 90 days old.
This has soured me on the app. I won’t be paying a subscription for this - especially at this price. Honestly, I’d rather go to another app bc I feel scammed. I know this will make no difference to the owner/s of the app but had to share my frustration.
Simply amazing!
This app is, simply put, amazing! I downloaded this app thinking I would have the ability to play music for each player as they walked to the plate.
What I found is that you can have professionally voiced introductions that are very customizable! Since I’ve had the app, it’s ballooned into several different teams, both baseball and softball, along with pregame songs, warmup songs, middle of the inning songs, stadium organ music, sound effects etc.
The players, coaches, fans, and even the umpires, all seem to love it, even when the umps have a meeting and I hit them with that Jeopardy Thinking song!
Joe Martinez, the professional announcer for UFC, always voices my request in less than 24 hours, and often times I’ve received my requests back within minutes of submitting them! I’ve done everything from each player, to the coaches, team introductions, and tournament specific introductions, and it’s all been flawless!
If you have a team and want to boost their confidence, increase the fun, and make game day an even better time, do yourself a favor and get this app!!!
Awesome App!!
I was tasked with being the walk-up song Mom for our team and I was a little overwhelmed with the process of what I had to do. Once I was in the app, it was SO easy!! The instructional videos were so helpful and it literally shows you how to do everything. It was actually really fun pulling all of this together and I am SO excited to start using it at our games. We used Mike Araujo as our announcer and it was perfect! I was impressed on how quickly he turned it around to me - less than 12 hours. I flubbed up on one of our players numbers and the process to have it re-done was SO easy and it was fixed within the hour. I highly recommend this app.

User Friendly
This app is so user friendly even for those who aren’t tech savvy. I love that it connects with my Apple iTunes to play songs I have saved. It’s easy to rearrange lineups, change walk up songs, and tweak little details, if you want. I get SO many compliments from people about how professional and well put together walk up announcements/songs sound. People ask if I’m a real D.J. 😂Customer service is top notch when I’ve had to add new players or fix something as simple as how a players name is pronounced. I’ve had this app for 6 years and will never use anything other than Ballpark DJ. Hurry up and click that add button guys! Ballpark DJ will NOT disappoint.
Easiest way to do it!
With so many options to choose from I ended up going with the wrong one first! I’m so happy this was my second option because this app is so easy to use from adding players, moving line up, adding songs, and ordering voice. After placing voice order for 14 kids it was done less than 24 hours and it was already attached to each player!!! I wouldn’t recommend any other app because this app does it all and very easy to use! I made one mistake with including wrong number for a player and I sent a request to change it and it was done within hours!! 10/10
Ballpark DJ is the grand slam of sports apps!
After trying nearly every other app on the market, I found that Ballpark DJ truly stands out. They have it down to an art and consistently make improvements and add new features. The setup videos make it easy for sports moms to create an exciting and impressive pregame and walk-up experience for the team. I especially love its compatibility with iTunes and the ability to have intros announced over the music of your choosing.

I ordered the professional voicing. I had recorded the pronunciations first. (Apparently I mispronounced some according to my husband.). I tried the reorder, which for some reason wasn’t showing on my app, so I emailed the customer service. Within 3 MINUTES, (YES 3!!) I had gotten emails from both Chad & Casey!!! Casey even gave me his cell # in case I had any issues! What?!? He re-recorded the voices after he called a Braves game. Had the redo’s @ 12:54 am!! Wow! This was even after telling him I didn’t need them for a week. These guys go over and above!!!! ❤️

Great Concept - Unpredictable playback
2nd ball season using BPDJ. From the beginning it’s been hit and miss on whether the walk up file will even play or not. As this season gets underway, I’m noticing the music now doesn’t always fire after the voiceover. Very inconsistent regardless of connection. Love the idea and interface is easy to use and quick to update - but, inconsistency for me is huge and makes it hard to use. Makes me look bad as the sound guy!
Update: BPDJ 11.6 Beta seems to fix this issue. Have tested multiple times on my phone and playback is consistent - but have not tested via Bluetooth yet. Will find out this weekend. If 11.6 does in fact fix all issues, will change my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Wonderful customer service
The app updated Saturday morning the day we had games. On the way to the field I was going over each player and song as I always do to make sure everything was perfect. The songs weren’t playing at the right time and it wouldn’t play the way I started the songs. I emailed the company and immediately got a response from Chad giving me a temporary fix for the day. It worked for awhile but then stopped again. This was the first issue I’ve ever had with the app. The kids and parents love it. Even though we had some mishaps this weekend I still love this app. It’s a little pricey but well worth it to see the kids smiling and feeling like the pros.
Love this App!
We have had this app for 3 years. It’s very easy to use and add music and voice recording. The first two seasons, we had a dad do the voice and that was great. This year, I paid for the professional voice announcer and am very happy with the results. The boys chose Michael Araujo from the list of announcers. He did an amazing job! It sounds so professional and it was quick. I received the voice announcements back within 2 hours of submitting the order. I had to add an extra player mid-season and got it back within 6 hours. I get lots of compliments from people at the games. Very happy and will use this again next season!

This app is so much fun and very user friendly! We chose Michael Araujo as our announcer and he was amazing to work with! When I first heard about the app I figured the announcer voice was AI. I was shocked when I realized you get the actual announcer recording your kids’ names! Mr. Arauio did (of course 😉) an amazing job with the announcing and he did the recordings right away! I was told to make sure I ordered the recordings a few days before I needed them, but I had them in my email within just a few hours! I highly recommend using this app and Michael Arauio as your announcer for your baseball team! ⚾️

EDIT: Jack was prompt and efficient in his response to the delayed delivery of professional voicing. He responded quickly to my email and worked to make it right, sending professional voicing for our team in time for our game. It seems that the Casey Legacy voice is the one that can be processed the quickest. Once Jack sent that over, it was easy to upload into the app and everything worked like a charm. Thank you!
Lifesaver App
BallparkDJ just pulled off a huge save for our Varsity program. Late last night I got word that our announcer is longer available to volunteer. Today was our first regional home game of the season. After several frustrating hours trying to get soundboard apps to work, came across BallparkDJ this AM. In under an hour, I had the entire team setup, pre-game warmups, national anthem, walkup songs, pitcher songs, and mid inning songs. Key features made easy - custom trim & play time - easy song import - custom voiceovers - auto volume fade On behalf of the program, thank you for keeping the dream alive.
Great. Could be even greater…
I couldn’t survive without this app. It is indeed great with great features. Only complaint is if you switch from the window you’re in, whatever is playing totally stops. If I need to check game changer for something, I can’t bc bpdj stops playing. Even within bpdj you can’t leave a screen/team/playlist to be ready for the line up. If I’m playing music IN bpdj, and need to get into another list IN bpdj, I need the music to continue to play until I tell it to stop. I need it to continue to play in the background if I need to answer a text message. Please make this possible!!! All the DJ moms will say THANK YOU!!!
Sound is all over the place
I really like this app, but I feel like you are basically forced to purchase their professional announcing or the sound doesn’t work well. I have a friend that has a great announcer voice so he recorded my intros and walk up announcements but no matter what I do or which settings I have, the sound goes up and down and cuts off players names and goes straight to the music. It’s great when it works, but more often than not, it’s messing up. Our fellow coach has the app, same speaker, but pays for the professional announcing and hers works perfect. She has also worked with my settings to mimic hers and it still doesn’t work properly. Might have to find a new app next season because it shouldn’t be this difficult!
NOT too good to be true!
This is the 2nd year that I have ordered the players names announced for my sons high school team and this year I ordered the super voice package because I was so impressed with it last year!
I’m still impressed, I’m blown away actually at how cheap and easy to get someone who has a way better voice than mine to announce my son is coming to the plate to bat!
I’ve learned through the years that all “deals” are too good to be true. Not this one! Your son or daughter will love it and YOU will have just that much more time to watch your son hit rather than making sure you are pronouncing your 2nd basemen’s name correctly!
Ballpark staple
I have been an avid user of this app for a long time. I’ve been using it for more than played names and line ups. I have dozens and dozens of songs and clips that are for various events in the game and middle of innings. I love it.
The one HUGE ask of the dev team. Please please please give us a way to copy these types of clips to multiple teams so we have easier control over the work we’ve already done. Repeating those efforts is obnoxious and unwarranted for a simple fix on your side. Please add this to your development backlog with some high priority from your user base.
So easy
This app could not be more simple and functional. The initial costs of getting the full version of the app and paying for professional voice announcing does add up a bit, but all are one-time fees and absolutely worth every dollar. Changing walk up songs is super easy, as is moving players around in the lineup. There are simple and to the point videos to explain how to set up professional voices, which were helpful. My team’s professional announcements were completed just a few hours after I placed my order, and they sound great.
Absolutely Amazing!!
This app is incredible! It’s VERY user friendly and the customer service is unmatched! I created a roster and added music just by the touch of button which allowed me to scroll through my iTunes on my phone. After I recorded our players names with my voice, I followed the super easy steps of ordering the professional MLB announcing. Within an hour, our teams recorded names were being announced by Mr. Motter!!!! Truly awesome! Don’t give it a second thought in downloading this app and paying for the additional services. It really will take your teams “presence” to the next level.
Could Do More
The SuperVoice feature of having a professional announcer voice players names and numbers is awesome. There still is a lot to be desired with the app. It needs to be more of a one stop shop for the whole game experience. Should include a tab for pre-game or in between inning songs as well as situational sounds to be played during the game. I currently export the SuperVoice announcements to another app so I can play pre-game or in between inning songs, ballpark sounds, etc…all from inside the one app. Also have Bluetooth issues JBL Party Box 310. Seems to always be delayed no matter what mode I choose. Look forward to testing newest version.

The features of this app are great, and have provided a lot of great moments for the ball clubs i’ve hosted that I will never forget!! However some of the basic functionality seems to have issues, in particular the delay/cutting out of sound at the beginning over bluetooth. I was curious and downloaded another app to see if this was an issue with that app (NBU) and surprisingly it doesn’t have this issue at all. Maybe in a few months/years I’ll return, but wanted to say thank you the moments you have provided with this app! I’m truly thankful and I’m sure you’ll get this figured out!
Highly recommend
The process was seamless! No problems. I received my order in less than 24 hours. I recommend any sports team to use this app. The ONLY suggestion I would make is once the order is complete, I think the music should be included with the share link instead of having to download the music on several devices if the app is being shared by a team and not just one person. Thats it- but even still it’s not that big of a deal.
Girls softball
This is my first team to coordinate walk up songs and I had no idea where to even start. I was able to find and download Ballpark DJ and try it out before deciding. Absolutely the greatest app. It was easy to set up and understand and the girls first game went great. Even the other team was singing along. I decided to come back this week and add in the Pro voicing to surprise the girls. Super easy to order and Ryan Cameron did an awesome job with their names.
I will definitely be using this for other teams. Thank you Ballpark DJ.
Best app I own!
Volunteered to handle walk up songs for sons high school team. Told there was an app that does it so started looking and couldn’t be happier I found this app! It is incredible in terms of what it can do but yet so easy to use! Ordered the pro voice and the players enjoyed it! Also, the support is outstanding! Chad was always quick to respond and helpful along the way. The videos and instructional items are top notch, could not ask for a better app to make the game day experience the best!
Fun app, works well, easy user interface
All in all a nice app. Record your own player announcements, or buy professional voice overs for $3.00 per player. Mix in a walk up song, and hit stop to fade out early. Optional ending sound effects are a little lame. Please allow at least one user added sound effect to end the song clip with. Also being able to adjust fade out length and start time of optional ending sound (relative to start time of fade out) would be a nice addition.
Not the worst
While this app is very user friendly, the whole point of the app is for walk-up songs for ballgames. That being said, you only have so many seconds before the music needs to stop for the play to bat. When you press play, it takes anywhere from 2-3 seconds to even start. By that point, the player is basically to the plate and you barely got to hear their song. I don’t feel like it’s a glitch bc it does it for every single player and every song. I don’t understand it but it has caused me to search for another way to play wallop songs for my players.
Super glitchy and unpredictable
This app decides when it wants to work. Paid for the announcements and finally turned them off because I would push play and either it wouldn’t play or i would realize the volume turned itself all the way down and by the time I turned it up it was mid announcement or too late altogether. There is a delay with or without announcement. When you push play it should just play right away. We aren’t working with a lot of time when doing walk up songs so this is a huge problem. Googled all the tips and tricks and none of them fix the problems. Did the upgrade. No better. Wanted to love this app since I spent some good money getting the announcements but I am at a loss.
Overall great, but buggy
At least twice I have added clips to my app and spent a lot of time on it for the app to completely delete all my work. Sometimes it was random, or after I ordered voice announcements, or after they updated. It also stopped fading out songs even though I have it toggled. If it wasn’t for these issues I’d give it 5, but I might try another app for now even though I’ve spent money for voice announcements on this one. I just am getting too frustrated with it reverting to what I had months ago or completely deleting things and starting over.
Hidden fees…
App seems to work fine but after you enter your team and get everything set up it then tells you its $3 per player. Then after you pay it tells you hey its done and we’ve charged you and you’ll have it back in 24 hours. We did this for a tournament we’re having tomorrow and now that we've spent 2 hours picking songs and recording names and they charged us for it we may not even have it back in time to even use it.
Best App for Youth Baseball
This app is very easy to use. They provide great options for purchasing professional announcers for “now batting number 99 kids name” that is someone’s real voice and not a computer generated, female voice. The announcer we chose for our team really added a personalized touch to each players name. The boys loved it. Importing the names ordered was simple. Customer support was great when responding to questions about loading the purchased announced names into the app. Adding walk up music was very simple from iTunes. This app was perfect!
I wish I would have found this sooner!
I have been doing walk up music for over two years. This app has been a game changer! Everything I was doing manually to sync the music is now at my fingertips. I agree with other reviewers that the turnaround time on the professional voices is amazing! I would like to give a shout out to Michael who did all of our voices within 24 hours and even redid one within a matter of a couple hours.
A must have for baseball or softball teams
Love this App, been using it many years for walk-ups and announcing starting lineups. The professional announcer option adds a special touch. My go-to; Michael Araujo. That guy absolutely knocks it outta the park every time!! A true professional. As for the App itself, it has all the features and functions I need, one suggestion though the UI feels a bit outdated. Thats not a complaint just observation. This app is a must have for baseball/softball teams!
THE best app for walk up songs
I’m my son’s little league team manager and when I was asked to make walk up songs for the team I was a bit stressed about how to make it organize everything. Thankfully Ballpark DJ popped up on my Google feed. It is 100% worth the money. It’s so easy to use. The professional voiceover is amazing and so fun for the boys. And it meant I didn’t have to announce them myself. Using it during the games also so incredibly easy. Worth every penny!!!

This app is the best! It was easy to set up and edit songs to exactly where the kids wanted. I loved that we could add voice announcement. We got the voiceover from Casey and all the parents and kids are thrilled. The customer service is beyond impressive. We submitted our request for voiceover and received back in an hour. After that we needed to update voiceover to correct pronunciation (my fault) of kids last name. They fixed it again with an hour so we had it in time for our first game! Thank you!!!
