This app is not user friendly and in the middle of our sports season to have to pivot from one app (that we are used to) to a new one that takes effort to find what’s needed-is annoying. Honestly, it’s just not as easy to use.

This app is very hard to navigate and the layout for the user is unlike most similar apps for tourneys. Very hard to follow multiple teams. Awkward to maneuver for the user.

Stupid app...just use tourney machine like everyone else. PE ruins everything

This is a terrible app that has too many ads for click bait and hard to navigate.

It’s hard to navigate. The best tournament app is SE Tourney.

The ads are so big it’s hard to get to the actual screen in the app. Sports parents don’t have time for this!

I use this app solely to check my child’s basketball schedule, game times, and locations. Unfortunately, the advertising has become completely unacceptable. Multiple times I have been shown alarming pop-up ads claiming my phone has dozens of viruses, that my browser is “damaged,” and that I need to install software immediately. These ads are designed to scare users and can be especially confusing for parents, grandparents, and less tech-savvy users. Even worse, some of these ads are difficult or impossible to close because there is no obvious “X” button, leaving users feeling trapped. I should not have to fight through scam-like advertisements just to find out when my kid’s next game starts. The Exposure platform is widely used for youth sports, and the ad experience should reflect that. Please remove these misleading scareware ads and implement stronger controls over the advertising shown in the app. The app’s scheduling features are useful, but the advertising experience seriously undermines trust in the platform.

App takes forever to open! I should not have to wait longer than a minute for an app to open to the homepage!!! Absolutely nuts. I timed it today and it was at 8 mins still just the start - no information nothing, deleted and reinstalled and STILL NOTHING!! Absolutely WILD!

This app would be easier to use if it had location filters so we don’t need to sift through events nowhere near us.

You want to put ads in the app that’s fine. Don’t make it so the first thing that pops up when the app opens is an ad that try’s to trick people. Lame

We pay so much for tournaments that the apps shouldn’t be bogged down with ads. And why would you ever allow an ad that mimics a virus with fake close buttons?!?! I can’t put a screenshot of it in here, but DO BETTER.

The ads on this are beyond aggressive. I get it, it’s a for profit enterprise but seriously come on. App use is great actually. Maybe better than all the others. Overall experience though is poor because of how intrusive the ads are. It’s the entire page.

This app is terrible. The opening screen is 90% covered by a deceptive ad with the tiniest sliver of a bar to click into the app. Very predatory ad placement!

They sell ad time to companies that want to fleece you through deceptive ads that your phone has malware. Horrible way to do business.

Too many frieking Ads

For a web-app in a wrapper this is unnecessarily unusable. Too many ads on this build not able to clear and access content. Forces users to open App Store repeatedly, without ability to skip or clear. Only workaround is to open and close the app until an advert with working “X” displays long enough to move through to content.

App is clunky and not easy to navigate. Also lots of ads. Would not recommend.

Adds are one thing but they appear like the part of the app. Deceiving. Terrible layout and more difficult to navigate than other sporting events apps

Using for a youth baseball tournament and all coaches rely on this app for scheduling. I can’t even access the app because of ads and no ability to close them out. Forced close and tried again, same thing. Pretty frustrating when you are relying on it for scheduling purposes especially with rain outs and delays and such. Do better!

I have never seen a bigger pile of garbage of an app. The amount of misleading prompts just to get onto the actual app is insulting. It’s to the point that you hesitate to click on anything.

Had an issue recently regarding adult websites showing on this app. Previously did not have issues. The app is showing 18+ now for age range. Confused as youth athletes like to download apps so they can view their tournament info.

When trying to open the app, it makes you wait for a few seconds to read the ad that takes up the entire video page before letting you in to the app. Every time you go to open it this happens. Perhaps put the ads at the bottom or top of the page instead of forcing you to wait to get into the app!

This app no longer works at all, I get the ad screen, and no way to ever click out of it. As others have reported, I’ve also seen only-fans related ad promos. That’s not ok at all for the app required to see kids tournament information. Something needs to be done about this!

Some of these ads are misleading and you find that you are somehow paying to use this app.

Too hard to find schedules, cluttered, and overwhelming. Search would always bring me to previous years schedule and current schedule didn’t seem to be updated if and when you could find it.

We had to use this app for a youth basketball tournament. Because it’s a free app there are ads that pop up when you first open the app that you can’t click out of for a few seconds. Unfortunately, I guess Exposure Events does not monitor the kinds of ads very well as myself and another parent have now seen a very pornographic ad advertising friends with benefits and featuring young girls pleasuring themselves and showing it all. You would think since this app is targeted to youth sports that this would be better regulated. I hope in the future they will keep a closer eye on who they allow to advertise in their app.

i can’t use the app because i have screen time on ads. simply because this app has ads, it is impossible for me to look at schedules

This is the first app I’ve ever ran into that requires a credit card number to verify the account.

I would give this app negative stars if possible. The app makers are more interested in showing ads than scheduling games. Have to view an ad before the app will launch. Ribbon ads in the schedule section are pornographic. Avoid avoid avoid.

This app is not user friendly. Instead of having to find an event in order to see the teams there should be way to search your child’s team instead.

Once the app opens, there’s ads real big in the middle. The first two times I opened it, it said I had a virus. You have to look at the small print at the top to continue to app

App is mediocre. 1 star specifically because it has that stupid antivirus ad that tells you your phone has a virus. Dumb.

Revising my review after Developer’s response as they explained how to use a notification feature I was not aware of & explained why some tournaments do not appear by state search due to event organizer not putting the tournaments location. I received their response on day of a tournament and the app’s notification worked flawlessly. 3 stars up to a 5 star review. The only thing I wish is that the app itself could save my search result - being able to view the tournament &/or team’s schedule / results without having to search for it each time....maybe you can and I’m just not aware of how to do it? Anyhow, a good app, gets the job done. Thank you.

Having used many tournament apps this blows my mind in its communication content timeliness of information delivery and accuracy. Easy to maneuver through Good looking and swank. Thank you!!

I have used this app a number of years to view schedules but this is the first time I have actually used it to schedule games for a tournament. I was confused about marketing and scheduling credits and used the chat function to get clarity. Whoever was responsible for the chat this day was absolutely horrible - used all caps to relay the message, ended the chat numerous time ls without resolution and overall customer service lacked horribly. There should also be a phone number as a contact.

This app is terrible. Every time you leave the app, you have to search for your event. The navigation is not intuitive. No where near as simple and easy to use as Tourney App. I go to a lot of tournaments as I have three kids in competitive basketball. All of the other apps for tournaments work better. A simple ability to have the favorite functionality actually work would be helpful. Plus the developers act like immature kids in their responses to feedback.

Website, once you understand initial swipe right to access sports, is super easy to navigate. Thanks from all the old technically challenged old coaches like me

Terrible app had many crashes too many versions of app online so I downloaded this app instead being on the web tried to change the date BROKEN . Just didn’t work it can get better just not good right now

Ads are in the way constantly and even when they aren’t the app has no intuitive control or feedback to let you know if it is working or not. Trying to use this for tournament baseball and adding a team is a ridiculous obstacle. Someone who knows what they are doing should design a better app bc this one is way overused and is absolute hot garbage.

Good simple. But it’s hard to navigate. I want be able to save my team and it will show me all tortements were and we can click in see all of our leagues. Just a suggestion

The app is very easy to use it get straight to the tourney unless it’s a lot going on that weekend in your city and you just gotta know tournament name other than that easssy

This app has everything for the event I attended. If someone runs a tournament or league of some sort this platform is the way to go.

Nice app once you get into it but getting past the ad when it’s first opened is close to impossible.

I have disabled notifications. I have removed the app. I have removed my phone number to stop text messages and I can not get this app to stop notifying me of every league update that occurs. We no longer play in a league that uses this app but nonetheless I get notifications. Do not sign up!!

The HUGE ads when you open the app are annoying. I’m used to apps with ads but this is obnoxious. Not the easiest to navigate and find your team. Haven’t figured out how to save settings.

Just wish you would update the scores for the games.

I want to follow 2 different age brackets in the softball selection and it won’t let me. It says my email is not valid when I select a different age bracket, but it’s been my same email for over 15 years. Very frustrating when you have 2 kids in different age brackets. Just want to know what’s going on for my day!!!!

There is a pop up ad that now appears every time you open the app. It used to be that you could wait for the close button or X icon to appear to get past it. Now there are no buttons or icons, you simply cannot get to the app at all.

Love this app, gives all the details of the teams and players, game times, scores and venues! Easy to navigate!

I always can see my games and see who I play

It’s a good app for finding tournaments throughout the U.S. but the filter used to select location is missing “District of Columbia”. Therefore I cannot pull up tournaments hosted in Washington DC.

90% of the times I log in there is an advertisement that never times out, doesn’t have a way to close it and when I report it still stays there. Not been a useable way to look at schedules

It's efficient but is slow and has a lot of lag.

Search function doesn’t work (searching for Wisconsin basketball tournaments serves up Michigan results, for just one example) and the entire app is utterly useless. Can never understand why people go to the trouble of producing an app that they must surely know is not fit for purpose.

This might be the worst app I’ve ever tried to use. You can’t actually use the app because a gigantic advertisement takes up the entire screen and it will not let you click out of it.

I have been using this app for years for tournament schedules. The last couple days the ads that pop up when opening the app have become x-rated. I don’t need to hear sex noises when trying to follow a basketball game.

The app event search tool was Much better last year, than how it is setup now- should go ba co to the more simple search

You pay for your kids to be on these leagues and then you pay 10 dollars or more to watch the event and then the app requires click advertisements to use…what a flipping extortion of parents
