Wir setzen Spond seit mehreren Jahren sehr erfolgreich als zentrale Kommunikations‑ und Organisationsplattform für unseren gesamten Verein ein. Mit über 800 aktiven Mitgliedern, deren Eltern bzw. Vormündern sowie mehr als 35 Mannschaften ist Spond aus unserem Vereinsalltag nicht mehr wegzudenken. Die Benutzerfreundlichkeit ist sowohl für Trainer als auch für Mitglieder und Eltern hervorragend – die App ist weitgehend intuitiv, übersichtlich und auch für weniger technikaffine Nutzer sofort verständlich. Gleichzeitig bietet Spond eine große Flexibilität, um unterschiedlichste Team‑, Alters‑ und Vereinsstrukturen sinnvoll abzubilden. Ein klarer Mehrwert sind auch die zusätzlichen Funktionen der Weboberfläche, die Trainern die Möglichkeit bietet, Spielpläne zu importieren und Auswertungen zu erstellen. Tolle App mit tollen Funktionen und Features! Leider funktioniert seit einiger Zeit die Banachrichtigungsfunktion nicht, ich bekomme kein Mitteilungston über das IPhone. Es wird lediglich nur aufgelistet im Homescreen! Wenn das wieder zeitnah behoben wird ist es für die mich beste App in Sachen Organisation Planung im Fußball Bereich! Viele Grüße

Ich hatte schön öfters Kontakt, aber es wurde nie richtig geändert. Wenn jemand Absagt und darauf Antwortet kann man nicht als Trainer Antworten. Man sieht die Antwort nur in der Absage.

Wir nutzen Spond für unsere Betriebssportgruppe und wir sind begeistert. Die Organisation, Kommunikation und Übersichtlichkeit sind einfach unbezahlbar und deutlich besser als in einem Messenger. Auch Formulare von Anmeldungen zu Veranstaltungen oder die eigene Website zu erstellen ist super umgesetzt. Bisher funktioniert alles zuverlässig und wir sind froh Spond gefunden zu haben. Danke an das gesamte Team.

Ich nutze die App für die Organisation der Trainigseinheiten und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Perfekt wäre es, wenn es eine Version für iPadOS geben würde.

Wir benutzen die App für unsere Fussballjugend und verwalten dort unsere Spieler und Mitglieder. Die App ist sehr gut durchdacht und hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Planen von Veranstaltungen wie Training, Spiele oder Turniere. Umfragen sind ebenfalls möglich und es gibt viele Einstellungsmöglichkeiten.

An sich bin ich mit der App zufrieden wir nutzen sie in der Kita. Was mich nur stört ist die fehlende Funktion der Suche. Warum kann man nicht alte Beiträge suchen oder auch wichtige Beiträge fixieren?

Ich benutze die App im Rahmen meines Chors seit 2-3 Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden. Man kann zentral die Events, also zB Chorproben planen und sehen wer zugesagt hat. Dazu gibt es noch Chats, Abstimmungsfunktion und Posts.

UPDATE Now also with ads in the app. I’ve now contacted Spond support multiple times about a way to access logs for individual events. The aggregated notifications are mostly useless for me as a team manager, and it should be a very easy fix to provide event logs with individual time stamps for each logged action. Also, the list of events could easily feature the day (e.g Monday) in addition to the day of month and month for recurring events. Also, especially for recurring events, why is the invitation period 14 days max? Let your users decide if they want to invite for a series right away, or week-by-week. Competitors like SpielerPlus and even Kadermanager offer this at base level. Not sure what the developers have been doing for the past half year, but it’s surely not feature development or UX improvements.

Die app bietet keine moeglichkeit notifcations oder emails einzustellen. Deswegen spamt sie jetzt alle mitglieder unseres vereins bei jeder trainingssession zu

Ich würde mir wünschen, dass Admin einfach nur für eine „Untergruppe“ bleibt. Heisst, er sieht nur seine Untergruppe. Momentan ist das so, dass jeder Admin, egal in welcher Untergruppe ist, sieht alles, jede Untergruppe. Das stört mich. Gerade in der Fussball Gruppe sollte Admin einer E-Jugend nicht das sehen, was A-Jugend macht. Bitte Lösung finden. Sonst top App.

Ich weiß nicht ob ich die Funktion übersehe oder ob die Funktion noch nicht gegeben ist. Wenn ich aufgrund einer Verletzung mehrere Monate ausfalle möchte ich das mit einer Abwesenheitsnotiz tun und automatisch bei allen Veranstaltungen in dem Zeitraum absagen.

Der termin, der auf dem sperrbildschirm gezeigt wird, ist um 1h zu früh gegenüber dem Trainingstermin. Leider bisher ohne Reaktion

Die verwendete Schriftgröße ist viel zu klein gewählt. Es gibt leider keine Möglichkeit diese anzupassen. Auf dem iPhone ist die App nicht zu gebrauchen!

Wir arbeiten gern mit der App, folgende Fragen und Anliegen: 1. Wie können wir Support erhalten? Online reagiert niemand. 2. Wir benötigen eine Such-und oder Filterfunktion nach Schlagworten. 3. Gibt es ein empfohlenes Foto-Videoportal welches verlinkt werden kann? In Spond kann man keine eingestellten Videos herunterladen, Fotos schon.

Die App an sich ist aufgeräumt und funktioniert, wie sie soll. Allerdings funktioniert der Back-Swipe nicht, was die einhändige Bedienung unmöglich macht.

Wir nutzen Spond mittlerweile seit 2 Jahren und sind zufrieden. Wünschen würden wir uns die Möglichkeit, sich für einen längeren Zeitraum von allen Terminen abzumelden (Krankheit, Urlaub). Dann bräuchte man nicht nicht jeden Termin einzelnd absagen

Es verschwinden auf einmal Leute aus den Einladungen und die,die drin sind können ist nicht zu- oder absagen. Muss dann ist umständlich alles wieder neu aufsetzen. Bitte fix (iphone 12 Pro user)

Die App ist eigentlich ganz gut, nur ich kann über die App einfach keine wiederkehrende Veranstaltung (Trainings) einstellen. In der App kommt immer die Fehlermeldung „Ups etwas ist schied gelaufen“ Es geht nur über die Web Version.

Wer nur Spond kennt und nur eine Person verwaltet ( im besten Fall sich selbst) , mag die App vielleicht. Als Trainer und noch Trainingsteilnehmer ist die Unübersichtlichkeit erschlagend. Mal schnell eine alte Nachricht suchen, eine Info weiterleiten erzeugen Schweißperlen und verursacht puren Frust. Wenn es nicht Vereinszwang wäre, wäre die App sofort gelöscht vom Handy.

Es ist ein wenig nervig dass Nachrichten/Chats immer nach oben rutschen nur weil jemand den Chat verlassen hat. Dadurch verliert man leider unnötig den Überblick.

Die App macht einen guten ersten Eindruck. Nur kann ich in der aktuellen Version kein Training anlegen. Trotz mehrerer Versuche bekomme ich eine nichtssagende Fehlermeldung :(

Wir habe die App runtergelaufen für nutzen sie für einen Verein. Es ist Mega nervig mit der App umzugehen. Es giebt keinen richtigen Gruppen Chat wie bei anderen Anbieter.

Ich benutze die App seit circa 1 1/2 Jahren und bin mit der Organisation, die ich bisher durch die App perfektionieren konnte, sehr zufrieden! Ich organisiere meine Turngruppen damit und finde es sehr benutzerfreundlich! Ein paar Ideen wären noch folgende … - integrierter Kalender für eine Gesamtübersicht, anstatt nur die einzelnen Veranstaltungen - ich habe ältere Trainerinnen, die mit Sprachnachrichten besser klar kommen. Eventuell im Chat auch eine Sprachnachricht-Funktion - ein “vielleicht” Button, statt ausschließlich Ab,-und Zusagen

Schön wäre eine Möglichkeit gemeinsam nutzbare, auch längerfristige „ToDo“ oder Notizen listen, innerhalb der Haupt- und Untergruppen, zu implementieren.

Anregung: Datenschutz und Privatsphäre-Einstellungen im eigenen Nutzerprofil ermöglichen, sodass für andere Mitglieder der gesamten Gruppe (und ggf. Untergruppe) nicht mein vollständiger Nachname (z.B. nur Max M. statt Max Mustermann) sichtbar ist (analog der Einstellungen bei den privaten Kontaktinformationen; Option: „Nur für Administratoren sichtbar machen”). Alternativ Anzeige eines Alias als Ersatz.

Die App ist wirklich genial!!!! Besteht die Möglichkeit das man noch einen Strafenkatalog mit integriert?

Wir sind von SPOND sehr begeistert. Wir sind ein Verein/Abteilung von über 120 Mitgliedern und organisieren uns bei Training und Wettkämpfen komplett über SPOND. Leider ist es seit dem neuen Up-Date nur noch für eine Person möglich Veranstaltungen einzustellen. Das war vorher mit mehreren Personen möglich. Daher jetzt leider nur noch 4 anstatt 5 Sterne, da es die Flexibilität doch stark einschränkt. Schade. Bitte wieder rückgängig machen.

Funktionalität ist gut, allerdings werden unglaublich viele Daten erfasst (s. App-Infos zu Datenschutz). Wozu ist das nötig, wenn ich nur über Termine meines Vereins informiert werden möchte? Feature-Wunsch: Speichern eines Termins in meinen Smartphone-Kalender. Aktuell muss ich immer alle Daten zu Turnieren und Trainings händisch aus der App in den Kalender abtippen.

Ich hatte bislang Teamer, der wollte aber immer Updates, bis er auf meinem iOS7 nicht mehr lief. Spond läuft und zwar gut. Auch von der Optik übersichtlicher. Und der Support reagiert auch schnell und kompetent und auf deutsch.

Einziges Problem: Eingeladene konnten App nicht/schwer installieren, da Eingabe über Tastatur nicht möglich war; nur kopieren aus anderen Apps und einfügen in Spond. Aber vielleicht saß das Problem auch vor dem Rechner🤪 Und alles „für umme“ . Danke und weiter so!

Für unsere Sportgruppen ist diese App sehr sehr gut. Einladungen und Termine bzw. Nachrichten, alles funktioniert sehr gut. Ich hätte noch den Wunsch, das wenn ich eine Sportgruppe als admin eingerichtet habe und dafür einen Gruppenleiter eingesetzt habe, mich persönlich nur als „Stumm“ schalte. Damit kann ich weiter die Gruppe beobachten werde aber nicht immer zu den Trainingsterminen eingeladen. Aber für Spond… vielen Dank an Spond, tolle Arbeit

Ich nutze Spond schon eine lange Zeit. Eigentlich eine super App, kann meine 200 Kinder aus verschiedenen Untergruppen als TV Erlenbach verwalten. Seid 3 Tagen geht gar nichts mehr. Ich kann weder eine Veranstaltung erstellen, noch Kinder hinzufügen oder löschen. Ich hätte gerne gewusst, wo das Problem besteht? Ich habe alles abgedatet und trotzdem geht nix mehr. Vielleicht bekomme ich auf diesem Weg eine Antwort.

Danke für diese App! Nach langer Suche zu einer einfachen und übersichtlichen Lösung für die Teamverwaltung einer Kinder-Fußballmannschaft bin ich nun endlich auf Spond gekommen. Die App bietet aus meiner Sicht genau den richtigen Funktionsumfang. Mehr braucht es gar nicht.

Diese App macht das, was sie tun soll. Vielleicht noch ein paar Erleichterungen mit dazunehmen: Voreinstellungen machen bei Erstellung von Veranstaltungen: Voreingabe von zum Beispiel Veranstaltungsort oder sollen die Teilnehmer sehen können, wer dabei ist oder nicht? Sonst muss man das bei jeder Veranstaltung neu eintippen.

Sehr gut strukturiert und funktioniert sehr gut. Zwei Wünsche bleiben mir offen: 1. Die App oder zumindest die Apps verschlüsseln 2. Einen Chat direkt innerhalb der Gruppe. So muss man den Gruppen-Chat separat noch anlegen und neue Mitglieder in der Gruppe und dann auch separat im Chat hinzufügen. Sonst bin ich höchst zufrieden.

Tolle App, super übersichtlich. Wir managen damit knapp 200 Personen plus Eltern und 8 Mannschaften + Orgateams. Bisher nichts besseres gefunden. Einzige Wünsche: Einbinden von Videos wäre schön, genauso wie eine „oben anheften“ Funktion bei den Beiträgen. Und ne App für IPad 😉

Ich benutze die App jetzt schon seit mehreren Saison mit mehreren Mannschaften, habe auch schon einige andere ausprobiert, die aber alle an Spond nicht herankommen. Eine Funktion fehlt mir allerdings; wenn es möglich wäre für die Spieler, oder auch die Admins, längere Abwesenheiten (wie z.B. Urlaub oder Verletzungen) einzutragen, um sich nicht für jedes Training einzeln abmelden zu müssen, wäre die App perfekt!

Diese App hält wirklich das, was sie verspricht. Gruppenorganisation wirklich leicht gemacht.

Ich nutzte die App für die Organisation einer Hobby Fußball Gruppe. Bislang sind alle sehr zufrieden. Was mir fehlt ist der Export einer csv Datei (statt Excel) und das automatische einladen verschiedene Untergruppen zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten(bisher nur eine Untergruppe möglich). Dann gebe ich gerne 5 Sterne.

Wir nutzen die App innerhalb der Sportmannschaft um Trainings und Spiele besser planen zu können. Dafür bietet die App eine sehr gute Übersicht. Leider fehlt für uns die Funktion, wie bei ähnlichen Apps, dass man persönliche Abwesenheiten eintragen kann. Somit muss man für jede Einheit „absagen“ angeben, statt für das eigene Profil eine gewisse Zeitspanne für eine Abwesenheit (Urlaub, Verletzung etc.) eintragen zu können. Würde es diese Funktion noch geben, wäre die App wirklich spitze.

Mein Trainer kann die Trainingszeiten und andere Informationen eintragen und es ist alles super übersichtlich leider kriege ich nicht immer eine Benachrichtigung wenn es ein neues Training gibt

zunächst mal danke für die tolle App, habe erst kürzlich die Umstellung der Planung auf Spielerplus gemacht und dann Spond empfohlen bekommen. Folgende Dinge sind mir aufgefallen die helfen können das die Plattform noch besser wird: - Import von Mitgliedern - Bei Anschluss ist der Versand der Einladung unmittelbar. Würde helfen wenn man selbst den Push steuern kann. - Abwesenheiten/Krankheit ist standardisiert in Spielerplus und wird bei der Planung autom. berücksichtigt. Das fehlt bei Spond, wäre toll wenn ihr das nachbessern könnt. Frage: - Beim AnwesenheitsExport steht unter anderem “Verspätung”, wo trägt man diese ein? Ansonsten, macht weiter so, Handling und UX sind schon jetzt sehr gut!!!

Die App ist echt top. Sie wird bei uns im Verein für Kommunikation, Terminplanung, Beiträge, ... verwendet. Allerdings fehlt leider eine iPad App.

Vorab - wir nutzen diese App im örtlichen Schützenverein für die Jugendarbeit. Die Funktion, dass man die Eltern hinzufügen kann als Vormund ist hierfür natürlich perfekt, da noch nicht jedes Kind ein eigenes Handy besitzt. Auch der Rest der App funktioniert bei fast allen reibungslos und so ist das ganze eine echte Erleichterung für uns Jugendleiter bei der Organisation und Planung von 20 Jugendlichen. Einen Stern Abzug, da man nicht einstellen kann, dass man im Urlaub oder sonstiges ist, wie es bei manch anderen Apps geht. Hier wäre es gut, wenn ich meinen Urlaub eingeben könnte und das System automatisch für die eingeladenenen Veranstaltungen absagt. Wenn die App diese Funktion bekommt, gibt es nichts mehr zu beanstanden 😊 Grüße vom Schützenverein Herrenstetten 😊

Die Zusage des Versanstalter sollte auch als Terminzusage gewertet werden, so dass man auf einen Blick sieht wieviele Leute kommen.

Als Planer ist das Programm 1a! Leider hat man mit dem IPhone Probleme. Zum einen ist spond da sehr sehr langsam und des Weiteren bricht es öfters zusammen oder hängt sich auf was schon sehr nervig sein kann!

Die App kommt nach einigen Tagen gut an bei unseren Mitgliedern. Schön wäre vielleicht noch eine Geburtstags-Mitteilung und das man die Hintergrundfarben einstellen könnte. Außerdem das man sehen kann, das der Admin auch teilnimmt an der Veranstaltung. Also 1. Teilnehmer mehr.

Seit einigen Monaten wird bei mir der Nachname immer vor dem Vornamen angezeigt. Egal wie oft ich es ander und wieder andererum schreibe. Bitte beheben!!

Wir managen unseren Verein damit und sind super zufrieden. Jeder bemängelt nur eine Sache… Es fehlt der Vielleicht Button. Manche wissen noch nicht ob sie kommen und können weder ab oder Zusagen. Vielleicht wäre das mal ein super neues Feature

Spond es una estupenda aplicación para gestionar equipos deportivos. Sin publicidad (a día de hoy). Intuitiva y fácil de mantener. Echo de menos poder poner los resultados de los partidos y por eso no le pongo 5*. Enhorabuena.

I don’t know how I’ve lived without Spond all this time! It’s made life so much easier. I can’t believe it’s completely free and so easy to use. 100% recommend if you manage one of several teams.

Super appli pour gérer un groupe, plein de bonnes fonctionnalités et le tout gratuitement ! Bravo à vous :) Par contre il en manque encore quelques unes pour en faire une appli parfaite : - la possibilité de faire des vocaux dans les messages - la recherche par mot-clé dans un fil de conversation pour retrouver un message - eventuellement un outil intégré pour les visios (mais je pense que c’est un peu lourd) Merci d’avance pour les améliorations que vous prendrez le temps d’ajouter :)

Cette application est incroyable pour la gestion d événements sportifs cependant je ne trouve pas possibilité de configurer des membres avec un profile readonly. Est ce possible et comment ? Merci

L’appli est absolument génial, le seul bémol, c’est le nombre de sports pour l’accès « match » dans les événements. Rendant pas possible sur les matchs d’interclubs de badminton de les afficher ainsi. Si dans de futurs mise à jour ce sport est rentré c’est un 5* assuré…

Spond m’a surpris. L’appli a toutes les fonctionnalités pour un club ou équipe sportive. Convocation, organisation par groupes, notifications, administrateurs…franchement, c’est super. On programme un horaire d invitations et sans savoir pourquoi l appli envoie les invitations sans respecter cette horaire si on invite un administrateur à participer à l événement avant .. c est frustrant merci de votre intérêt pour cette remarque

Bonjour, Mon équipe fonctionne uniquement par Spond mais je n’arrive pas à me créer un compte. Je fais tout correctement mais ça écrit qu’il y a une erreur et qu’il faut réessayer Je ne fais que ça et pas de solution…

Personnellement je n’arrive pas à créer mon compte et rejoindre un groupe. J’ai un message comme quoi quelque chose ne marche pas alors que mes informations sont correctement rentrées.

J’utilise l’appli pour mon fils . Impossible de faire la dernière maj. Et à mon grand étonnement d’utiliser l’appli sans cette maj que je ne peux pas faire ( os incompatible). Impossible de valider quoique c esprit et de consulter les maj d’évènement, ce qui problématique pour l’organisation. A un moment où les fabricants sont contraints de limiter l’obsolescence programmée, c’est dommage que les appli elles continuent.

A-t-il possibilité de changer le son de la notification car je l’entends vite fait merci

A notre niveau, nous vous suggérons une petite amélioration à savoir de pouvoir insérer sur les membres une pièce jointe permettant ainsi d’avoir les licences sportives toujours sur soi.

Great app, well thought and really easy for managing team groups for sport clubs. I would however like to be able to perform a search in the different sections of a group: posts, messages, polls, maybe even events in order to find something that was posted a while ago. And it would also be good to pin some posts on top of the section, and to think about something for uploading some files (playbook, instructions for the weekend event, etc...) in a space whew it’s easy to find them (eventually through the search function. Cheers!

Great, sure I want to be part of organised sports. But let me disable the intrusive notifications from Spond “events I don’t want” spam. I don’t care about your fundraising tools, I don’t care about your events in cities nowhere near me. GIVE ME AN OPT OUTOF BEING PESTERED WITH UNDESIRABLE NOTICES. I want to be notified of my own events when I choose to be. But you are making it very #%+*#ing hard to not just silence ALL Spond app notifications. Because you assume I want your spam.

Spond has transformed the way we manage the complexity of a large club with over 220 players, multiple teams, staff, events and transportation.

This is a fantastic example of what an app should be. Clean and easy to use design. Minimal adverts (given it’s free to use). I wish there was an obvious way to make feature requests however!

PAYMENTS The payments in the app as an organiser are useless. Why can’t I access payments for an upcoming event and change whether people have already paid via another means, or even say up to a day after an event to say they’ve paid cash etc. whenever I click on ‘payments’ the events aren’t even visible. Totally baffling. EVENT MESSAGES I’ve tried various ways and can’t find one to send a group message to those that are attending an event. This would be very useful for instances like delays, parking restrictions etc Having to click on individual members etc is too time consuming when the members are already ‘grouped’ So many other irritations with the app too which would make it brilliant

SMS isn't secure and this has my payment details in it. Please support 2FA apps rather than SMS.

Spond does everything I need it to do. It is great for the team admin, fixtures and training

I’m getting harassed by this man on your app, I cannot block him, I have reported him twice. I can’t deal with this anymore, he’s constantly messaging me and I can’t even ignore it. Is it so hard to add a block button?!

If someone requests payment only the Admin of that club can cancel the request and Spond can’t close it. I have contacted them and nothing back.

It’s generally a really useful app and does a lot of things. But from the player’s point of view the way event availability works is very confusing. You get invited to an event and tap ‘Available’ and your status is shown as available on the event page. That makes sense. But when the hosts select the team, you only see the updated statuses if you’ve been selected. If you weren’t one of the selected players you don’t see that other players statuses have changed to ‘Attending’ and you’ve no way to know if the coaches have selected the team or perhaps if you’re still waiting. It confuses everyone at our club all the time. Weird.

Love the app and use it for our youth football team. Makes organising players and planning team lineups so easy. Would be great to add scorer/assist to score updates so it notifies those not there (rather than having to add it as a message as I do now) - really recommend

I don’t know who you consulted about the new colour scheme, but it wasn’t me! There is not sufficient contrast in Notifications between unread and read. I am now having to try to make changes in the ‘Accessibility’ settings to make the app usable for me

It’s an amazing app for organising the teams of our Club with little effort and difficulty. Only issue is to actually get the Youth to register themselves regularly..

On the whole the app is great, good way of keeping everyone updated. Only criticism is there should be the ability to have repeat payments as well as sessions. Not just paying through the app.

Settings to turn off push notifications does not work. I keep getting spammed with notifications of group events. Plus, there is NO WAY to turn off email communications other than individually turning off each event notification once it is sent through. Fix this please

Expected behaviour: I see the same kick off times as our manager publishes in the app Experienced Behaviour: Since about 2 weeks ago, when our manager sends out the kick off times, they display 1 hour early for me and a few other parents. I have not travelled in different timezones. Happy to provide a screenshot.

This would make life a lot easier if you were able to add the match to your calendar

Decided to delete my account and uninstall the app after notification and email spam from hell. Every day I got numerous notifications AND emails to respond to an invite. When I joined a club there were over 50+ to respond to with no option to accept or decline in bulk, each had to go through manually. I started off just doing the events that were full but it was too time consuming to keep up with all the new events being added as well. I really wish I wouldn’t also receive emails reminding me to respond as this just feels invasive to me. Push notifications alone would be fine. Would probably enjoy the app if it didn’t constantly hound me.

Good app but needs a search function to search for legacy posts.

I literally couldn’t care less about the notifications from SPOND. I don’t care about a “spot the ball” competition or SPOND fundraising. The only notifications I want are for attendance from my players, so I can’t even turn off app wide notifications in iOS.

If you have too many from an availability request the person that isn’t selected just has the event removed. It would be useful if it still showed in the event but in a not selected or waiting list section so the parent still sees the event but knows they are not selected.

But otherwise it’s good for tracking and managing grassroots football club activities. I wish the notifications worked so you knew when updates from team members were sent through to you when not using the app.

Amazing app! Be great if there was the ability to send push notifications to players that pop up on the app “like notices of cancellations etc”

Spond enables everyone the opportunity to take advantage of the app to facilitate the running of groups under one roof allowing people to get together and socialise under the security of of their team building app.

Notifications are annoying and even if all are turned off, the app still shows them. All events have to be manually looked at and responded to (no mark all as read function). I’m in two groups, one of which I want to leave, and it’s not possible to leave unless the admin removes you which is daft. When the admin doesn’t respond you’re stuck with it and all the notifications as well. Not one of my favourite apps.

The events randomly disappeared

Just got a full screen ad that couldn’t dismiss when opening the ad. App is becoming a joke. Horrific.

Absolutely brilliant - live by this app. Would love to see some more additions to the “update score” …to record relevant information like goals scorers etc etc

Spond very informative

Seems fine when first using, but you can’t add people to historic events, or edit an event where there’s an attendee. Unnecessary ‘controls’ really as it affects freedom and ability to reflect what’s actually happened in real life (e.g. someone turning up who doesn’t have the app yet).

My club done a fundraiser through Spond, we are 15 days since the fundraiser ended still haven’t received the funds we raised. Trying to get hold of someone through there help center is impossible no human contact. I will not be recommending the fundraiser element to anyone

Months of daily password resets to keep up to date with fixtures. Multiple members at the club have same issue.

We use this app to organise rides and social events in our cycle club. It’s incredibly useful and is easy for new members to get to use. The event comments threads are always lively and a great way to get members feeling involved.

The app is mostly good and has made it much easier to know what’s coming up with my running club. My only complaint is that if you choose to allow the app to send events to your calendar it sends absolutely everything that you are invited to. Being in a running club that has 5 simultaneous events on a Thursday (different pace groups) and similar on a Tuesday my diary was getting spammed with things that are irrelevant to me. A much more logical approach would be to only have events sync over to a user’s calendar after they have clicked on accept. Declined and pending events have no place being synced. This was such a basic seeming feature that I checked with other users in my running club assuming that it was operator error but they all said they are seeing the same. Would love to see an update to this functionality in a future app update. EDIT: I have just seen a 1 year old review saying the same thing with a developer response saying that they would pass on the feedback to the relevant person, so I guess if you’re also hoping for this to be updated don’t expect it anytime soon.

We use Spond to manage the Junior section of our cricket club, 4 teams and about 100 kids. The management of groups (members & casuals), events (matches & training), and communications is very good. The support is very responsive when there are issues but the software itself seems very stable. The whole app is free apart from a 3% fee on payments made via the app. That’s a bit more expensive than other payment solutions but worth it for the integration with all the rest of the functionality. The payment system is a little slow to verify and pay out but otherwise seems reliable so far. There is a associated web app called Spond Club but I’ve not yet found anything useful it can do that the iOS app can’t do.

This has been a brilliant solution for my sword dancing team who were previously using google sheets to record how many people are attending a dance-out. It also replaces the need for the email to-and-fro when the leader asks who is coming to practice. One thing it is missing which would really help us (and the 3-4 other teams who have started using it) is a “minimum attendance” setting. Please could the developers look into this? A notification to the group manager upon hitting minimum would also be great. Thanks!

I’m a youth team manager and use this app all the time. This is a great app for sports teams, for coaches, parents and players. All your fixtures and attendance for forthcoming events (matches, training, tournaments, etc.) in one place for all users! One big bug I have is how problematic having more than one child using the app is. The interface between parent and child is really clunky, meaning a parent can easily be listed as a child and vice versa. I have been set up as an under 7s player in the past! Something that would be great would be a way for coaches to set team line ups, formation and timing of subs. Also a way for an organiser to set what roles are required, and for volunteers (coaches, ref, lino, etc.) to sign up for events separately from players, but under the same event. This would be a massive plus!

Spond seems a good way to manage and organise club activities … but there are a few things that need developing further … 1. Please develop an iPad app. This would be so useful. 2. When people respond to events it lists them in the order they responded … but it would be so useful to have an option to list alphabetically. 3. When receiving messages it uses the guardian’s name … which sometimes makes it hard to know which child this refers to … as even showing their profile doesn’t list their child’s name. 4. It would be great to be able to use bold and italics in posts.

We started using Spond 2 years ago and it’s a fantastic App for organising training and match attendance. We use it for all our communication with parents - you can send group messages and also private message individual parents all through the App. You can also do polls asking for feedback or to ask for people’s availability before actually sending invites for games. The feedback we’ve had via parents has been fantastic and it’s so easy to use! And everything is free! Deserves 5 stars and highly recommend (from a junior football coach)

I was communicating by Email with the footballers I have a weekly kickabout with. It was clogging up my inbox and I was losing track of who’s said they could and couldn’t play. One of the guys recommended Spond and it’s made it so much easier to communicate with everyone, see who’s in/out every week and it sends out the invite automatically which saves me time and having to remember to do it myself! Great app!

I do not normally bother writing reviews but thought I would with this one. This is so easy to setup and operate and helps run any sports club with ease. From managing event, payment, posts, polls, availability request and even inbuilt fundraising to help support your team. Great integration with ‘Club Spond’ where you can manage a whole club covering multiple groups. 100% recommend and best on the market at moment

Use this app for my rowing club. One of my favorite things is that you can see who is attending and who isn’t, which is very helpful. One thing thats a bit annoying is that when i synced it to my calendar, it synce EVERY date, even if I hadn’t answered. However I am sure there is a way to fix this, so it won’t drag my rating down. Overall a great and highly usefull app, would definitely recommend.

Superb app, does everything you’d need all in one place, and has the ability to be the only app you’d need for you team. Would love to see a stat tracker added tho, so I can keep track of the individual goals scored, assists, cards etc over the course of a season. The poll is a great feature as the players can vote for their Man of the Match after a game. As I said, only thing that’s missing is a stat tracker so it’s easier to keep track of the leading scorer for the end of season awards

The app itself works perfectly for what we need it for, the only negative is that the person who set it up for our team is not counted as one of the people who are attending events, even when he has clicked attending. The other administrators are though so perhaps this is a bug? Other than that it has potential to be even better by adding features such as stat tracking, team lineups etc. A fantastic app nonetheless though

I’ve trialled lots of similar apps but nothing compares. Can’t believe it’s free to use. I’ve saved so much time using it. Parents have all the info they need, we can use it to share photos, team sheet, record and transfer data to excel and take payments. Just about the only thing it doesn’t do is manage the subs bench! Definitely recommended. Try it!

Our local coach says “The way app is set up for recurring events is that I have to choose between same day and 14 days for the invite”. Can we have a new feature for recurring events that the option exists for all invites to go out at once? Ideally those accepting recurring invites can do it once too, ie not having to accept individual dates for regular training sessions. Request registered! Thanks

Brilliant app that I’ve been using with several teams and clubs over the last two seasons. It is brilliant for managing fixtures and training as well as advertising other events. It is also beneficial for discussing tactics and until recently, sharing videos of walkthroughs for set plays. Unfortunately videos don’t seem to upload anymore, I hope this gets fixed soon 🤞

Myself and a few of my club mates have found that when you click on certain events, they immediately disappear from the listing. The only solution is to delete and reinstall the app each time. I have raised this with support several times, but they don’t seem that bothered about finding a solution. It seems to be only with iPhones. Updating to iOS 18.1 does not make any difference. I would avoid downloading this app until they have confirmed they have fixed this problem.

An amazing app which our club have been using for years and it’s never let us down. The "create line up" feature has been a brilliant addition but it would be great if you could also add a goal scorer feature for match days. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant app and very easy to use. Lacking ability to post video’s , which would be helpful during coronavirus lockdown but I’ve emailed this suggestion and they were quick to respond and thanked me for my suggestion. Nice to see the photo’s of the people involved too. Highly recommend this app.

Calendar syncing has not been effectively managed. It’s all or nothing really. You can’t just sync the events you want to attend, you have to sync all the events that are happening within your club. This has been an issue for a few years now and clearly isn’t going to be addressed any time soon. Shame as it’s a good app otherwise.

Very easy to use as admins and easy for parents to use. It’s useful that parents can turn off notifications on posts-saves overload. It would be a great addition if videos could be uploaded to posts for analysis by members. Otherwise, it’s a much more impressive app than WhatsApp.

I genuinely love this app. It makes everything so easy. The only negative is that there is nowhere to record results, goalscorers and assists. So I need to record everything on a different app which is a shame.

I’m a football coach and this app is absolutely perfect for organising your team fixtures, addresses, attendance, and all team comms. Forget the WhatsApp group and emails and dive into Spond! I highly recommend it. The only thing wrong with it is the name doesn’t really say what it is.

My son missed training because for some reason the app said training was 20:00 until 21:00 when on other parents app showed time was 19:00 until 20:00, some said match had been cancelled some didn’t, we compared 5 of us and none displayed the same information for the same group, only the host had all the correct information - caused a lot of arguments , back to WhatsApp for us

Spond is rapidly becoming an unusable mess, not least as the developers seem to be determined to ignore feedback. Everything that happens is a, absolutely everything, generates a notification. So what do users do? Switch them all off, defeating the whole logic of the app. This actually then leads to friction between club members when they didn’t get messages that were important. Then there’s the payment system failures, the inability to exit a group, etc etc I and several other users I know have complained about these and other issues, but the response has been MORE app generated notifications to upsell users to fundraising. Think carefully and explore other options before using this for your club.

Hi my parents are having issues with messages not sending, they send the message and it stays sending regardless of signal strength. I myself have the same issue but I normally copy the message completely come out of the app and clear it, go back in paste the message and it sends. This for parents is a pain. Can you please look into it ASAP or I’ll look for another app to use, don’t want to as used this for 2 years but the issue is very annoying. Thank you.

Was recommended this by someone and eventually tried it. Glad I did It’s a superb app! It will save you time and others that use it with you. I use it to run a football team and wouldn’t do without it now.

What a great app, love it so far. Only thing I would say is that when setting multiple fixtures in my case for football the option of putting start and finish times as tbc rather than an actual time would be better.

Quite literally, we are a busy club with few coaches and volunteers. We found this app by chance and it has revolutionised the way we manage our training events. No longer do we have to ring round to find crews or worry if people gave seen the event canceled text. Its upto them to find out - all in one place and easy to update. Thank you Spond - a very happy rowing club. One little issue recently, the event registers haven't been updating immediately and we have been loosing a few messages. But not a show stopper yet.

Just started using the app. Was wondering if the app is able to or will be able to provide reports of team member attendance to share on a group dashboard or administrator dashboard to share with individuals. Will the app be update to expand to full screen of the iPhone X? What about individual members progress details?

Love it, but one problem, I’m an admin on a few groups but for some reason it has stopped allowing me to make an event on two of these groups.

Great app and easy to use. Please can you make it so you can send videos via messenger, you can only add a photo or a file. I’ve converted the video to a file and it still won’t upload. Thank you

Been using this app a little while now but wonder if something can be included to enable to host to select who is going to be on the team for each fixture? So when we have 9 players available but need to select 7, could this be an option?

Good app though there is a bug that is annoying for me. I travel a lot into different time zones. When I receive an invite it time stamps it for the zone I’m in - not the home zone where the game is being played. When I go home the time does update and remains wrong.

Great app been using this for a while now, best on the market. One improvement for the developers would be an option to forward the details of the event to the opposing manager.

App does almost everything BUT …. While participants can sign up to an event like a training night there’s no option for a captain or coach to divide attendees into teams!! 🙈🙈. Major oversight that despite reporting several times remains amiss 12 months later. We persist with it unless there’s a better free option.

Intuitiva, ti permette di avere sempre tutti i dati della squadra sotto mano. Programmazione stagionale degli eventi e resoconto delle presenze. Gestione delle convocazioni facile e chiara anche per i genitori. Veramente ottima!

Ben al 2 dagen aan het wachten op een antwoord, sommige hebben binnen een uur antwoord zeggen ze dan. Heel slecht als ik de helft niet kan doen in de app. Slechte communicatie en geen antwoord jammer. Het voetbalteam zit te wachten op mijn evenementen terugkerende maar ik kan niks elke keer oeps fout probeer het opnieuw nou dat doe ik dus al weken…

Hele fijne app, niet meer zoeken in de whatsapp berichten wie er wel of niet zijn.

Prima app. Ziet er goed uit. De koppeling naar je agenda is top! Om als team goed te zien of je voldoende spelers hebt voor een wedstrijd zou het handig zijn als je bij je profiel een speel positie kunt opgeven. Als bonus zou een dashboard handig zijn waarin je ziet of iedere positie gevuld is door een speler die zich heeft aangemeld. Dit dashboard zou je aan de hand van de sport moeten kunnen instellen, in mijn geval volleybal. BramOos

De app heb ik inmiddels gedownload in de AppStore. Echter wanneer ik wil inloggen krijg ik een foutmelding. Geeft aan dat ik een verouderde versie heb van het besturingssysteem. Telefoon is up to date, app verwijderd en opnieuw geïnstalleerd maar blijf deze melding krijgen. Zowel op iPad als iPhone.

Great, but please put option to have NO organizer for an event.

Deze app maakt het managen van jouw team bijzonder eenvoudig. Iedere training kan je in een opslag zien wie er aanwezig is. Deelnemers kunnen zich zelf aanmelden of afmelden. Je ziet dan bij de bijeenkomst wie er wel of niet zijn. Als je met een whatsapp groep werkt komt het vaak niet chronologisch binnen en is lastig te zien wie er wel of niet zijn. Dat werkt bij trainingen en wedstrijden. Daarnaast kan je makkelijk vragen stellen in de groep of individueel. Reacties blijven bij de vraag waardoor je niet in de war komt met andere gesprekken. Deelnemers kunnen ook in een oogopslag zien welke trainingen en wedstrijden er zijn. Ze zijn zelfs te koppelen aan de agenda. Vooralsnog heb ik geen minpunten kunnen ontdekken.

Wat werkt alles snel, makkelijk en overzichtelijk. Ook de helpdesk is fantastisch, altijd met een dag een reactie en super vriendelijk. Kunnen veel app makers wat van leren!

Mooie app maar als leider zijnde mis ik nog wel een paar functies. Zo moet er elke week iemand wassen en bij uitwedstrijden moeten er mensen rijden. Dit zou ik graag toegevoegd zien worden (ik heb wel een excelsheet als voorbeeld). Ook wil ik graag dat iedereen bij alle activiteiten standaard op “aanwezig” staat. Iedereen is namelijk vaker aanwezig dan afwezig.
