It’s quite basic & the amount of adverts & frequency of ads far outweighs what it does. Make it free or WhatsApp will take over. Get full screen video ads every time. Banner ads went out 10 years ago. 🤷♂️

I don’t mind the odd ad in a free app but on here the number has increased and the volume of the video ads is not just intrusive but down right annoying.

Excellent app
Adopted this app to provide a booking system for training sessions at our running club during Covid restrictions. Very easy to use both for admins and club members. We now use it for training, social runs, race entries, club shop, social events , as well as general comms via chat. Simple to use but also very powerful.

Can we get dark mode support for the app?
Font Change
Since the latest update, it looks like the font colour has been changed on all events to white or something similar.
This means on a white background you cannot see any of the times you’re events start, or inside an event any of the times where responses were set.
Almost perfect
This has been great for my club to move away from certain social media platforms.
Is it possible to be able to add text when uploading a photograph? The multiple notifications puts my members off from posting. Also when you’ve typed up a large post, it sometimes doesn’t post which means you have to type it all up again. Pretty frustrating.
Which leads to - can the notification sound be changed 😂

Really good app to track your sports team. One bad note that there is a glitch that you can’t save your rsvp for stuff.

It’s ok, but hard to feel the love
It does work, but the design is very basic, inconsistent, parts follow Apple and Google design guidance, other parts don’t, feels like it’s been cobbled together. I just had to go through the password reset/ login link process and it took 3 attempts before it worked. I do pay the small annual fee to get rid of the adverts to make it a bit nicer, that’s deffo worth doing, not least to give the developers some money rather replying in ads.

We have adopted this app for our Brass Band communications and it works really well for us,
Adverts are making it unusable!
Of course you need funding! But every other click causes a 5second advert! Only way to get around it is to close and reopen the app. Which causes high use stats and therefore more advertising!!! Ahhhhhhh!!!!!

Couldn’t complete Email verification due to site requests going through awstrack.me site that my ISP / web guard blocks for privacy reasons. Had to drop off and complete sign up through 5G connection. Seemed a bit odd as don’t typically have this issue with formal / official’ish sites.
Member search
Have been using for a few years but recently more and more glitches including can no longer search member directory on app on iPhone
Please allow cut off rsvp dates
Very good app but can you please add a feature to allow an event on a calendar to stop accepting RSVPs after a certain date without needing to archive and therefore remove the event. Members think the event has been cancelled. Can the feature allow the event to remain on the calendar but the RSVP be greyed out after a specific date?
Chat needs work
One basic feature is when you type into the chat and hit enter your message doesn't appear. I have to restart the app to see my typed message. Also issues with messages appearing in general.
Too many ads
Forced to download for my child’s sports club, and it’s probably very good for their needs.
But as a parent, there are just too many annoying ads when trying to read notifications.
Developed recent glitches
Over the last couple of weeks there is a glitch where information goes blank when looking through fixtures on calendar mode. List view works but calendar broken. Have to restart the app each time to get it to work. Not a good experience
Frustrating.
After getting used to the complexities of this app and making it work for us it has recently developed a bug where comments in events & chat randomly appear and disappear. These are visible in notifications except for one’s own comments! Tried deleting and reinstalling the app which briefly worked but it’s now returned to invisible comments. Have contacted support but still no response 😡
Dreadful - doesn’t work
This app is terrible. If you’re looking for something to streamline you’re team comms look elsewhere.
So many bugs… the user experience is awful.
The developers should go back to the drawing board with this shambles of an app.
£29.99 per month to set a team up
This is not free. It is free to members. I was really impressed and set a team up and then went through the zero payment for location purposes explanation so then read a bit further to find its a 5 day trial. It’s great for a big club that can afford the £29.99 per month. Hopefully I’ll save someone 15 minutes of wasted time setting this up who have no intention of paying £29.99. It should be more transparent. Very sneaky. Rating is for the sneaky cost. App looks amazing.

we’ve recently started using the app add free and really like it ! .. there’s a couple of things that are bugging our parents tho ..
you can’t add more than one ticket for events into a basket .. you have to check out one at a time .. really frustrating ! please can this be amended 🙏🏼 and also there is the use of apple pay to pay for store items but not for events tickets but it doesn’t save card details so parents are having to input card details every week .. please could this also be changed 🙏🏼

A great app
This is simply a brilliant way to keep up to date with your club.
Not a bad app
It does what it says on the tin, but it is a little laggy so find people often post comments twice as it doesn’t appear first time. Notifications also take ages to go, even if I see them two or three times
Used for grassroots football
It’s ok but underdelivers in a lot of areas when you start actually using it - all requests for improvements are met with a “no it’s not on our list to improve”
Parents can’t choose which child they want to pay subs for, can’t do family payments when you have a number of teams it’s very hard to reorder them.

The only thing I will say is that it is not possible to select a specific access group when creating an event in the native app. It’s possible on the web app, though, which generally appears to offer more functionality.

Please bring back the ability to upload Excel documents. I used to be able to but haven't been able to for a few years. Would be perfect if it linked with your league and pulled fixtures across like the TeamStats app does

Have been using this for a few years now. Still not used all the features. But it just works. All my crew and club members know what’s happening. Who’s going to be attending. And any updates along the way. You won’t be disappointed you downloaded it.

Value for money
Perhaps based on familiarity with Heja, I find TeamApp to be very average in its functionality regarding scheduling fixtures and training.
As a free App this is clearly superb value for money, but having to confirm availability by chat message on a particular forum is less convenient than accepting or declining items as you would work meetings/calls.
The range of functions appears superb, but in its primary function for a sports team average is a diplomatic review.

This app is great no ads and free it’s superb and no issues thus far
Poor developer response
For a year or more we used the app no problems, then during last autumn at one point I just needed the notifications not to popping up on my phone constantly, so turned off the option.
However a month or so later when our teams season was really beginning & I remembered notifications needed to be switched back on but every time I tried to do this it wouldn’t save the revised setting. In the meanwhile during a casual conversation I discovered some fellow parents with the same issue - so it wasn’t just us affected. So contacted ‘team app’ who initially seemed kind of helpful, however after I’d tried everything they suggested, sent them screen shots they asked for, deleted the app and reinstalled it on my phone but still no change there attitude ‘well it must be your phone’ - even though I have the same phone I did 2 years ago and haven’t changed any settings on my phone itself.
So now for us that has rendered the app pretty useless, we obviously use it to check events which have been organised but all the ‘chat’ etc which it should help us keep updated with notifications don’t pop up for that and we often miss things because of that.
Lastly I generally never write reviews, positive or negative because I feel they often don’t demonstrate the true performance of something, but in this case as my husbands a software developer (in a totally different industry) and he’s pretty sure it’s probably some bad programming on an update that team-app have circulated which cause this problem, I just wanted to express my frustration not at the problem but at the developers lack of willingness to take it seriously unless it’s something easily solvable!!!
Great for social groups
This is a great app, the only thing that would improve it is if wasn’t just designed for sports teams. I love the way it’s set up though and we’ve added our scout group really easily, but it would be nice if we could add in something for non sporting groups. Love the chat function...one other thing that would improve it was if If forced parents to add their children in as its hard to figure out which adult belongs with which child sometimes. One thing that’s been bugging me lately about it is the inability to upload more than three images and one video at a time. When we have an event we usually have lots of images for the parents to view so it would be nice if there was a more easy upload function
5 Star App - simply works well
Used for 2 years now and meets the needs of our football team and more easily. The chat and gallery function is a bonus. What i would like to see developed (and forgive me if i simply have missed this or am wrong) is:
1. Some improve privacy as it li is to a website and this is pi lic some aspects of the app are visible to anyone who finds the site. I would like to be a le to control more what is visible as to get best use of chat and gallery function i have it open for anyone to use. However this requires moderation (sometimes) to remove content that isnt desired. So privacy and moderation by admin functions improved.
2. It would also be good if where an event has been scheduled ie a football match that as well as attendance a brief post match comment, overall result and goal scorers be captured to report on later.
I must stress though this is a fantastic app once set up correctly. Very impressed for a free app. Keep up the excellent work.
Yacht crew
I use this app to organise a racing yacht crew. There is a surplus of crew typically on a race day, so the limit feature is very useful. The events are tide dependent and so change time, the app is great at communicating all this to a wide audience very efficiently. I also use the links to link to tide tables, weather and yacht club websites so everyone has access to the info they need in one place. The library is useful for safety, training etc. All in all this tool helps bring together all the pieces needed for managing a racing or cruising yacht and having tried some other apps this one seems to be the best at this.
Spot on for my “Man Brain”
As a man I can only process one piece of info and retain it at a time 😆 so to be reminded when to leave to get to a match and have a button in the invite which creates GPS directions to the ground is genius well done. Ads are unobtrusive and the interface is uncluttered. Online support is superb, every question I’ve raised has had a quick response from developer team.
Couple of suggestions:
1 - A “Who’s parent is who” section would be great. A “family tree” style look maybe that shows a picture of the player and coming off of it a picture of each parent? Our young football team is new and I struggle to place which parent is with which child.
2 - could the social media button link to WhatsApp please? We have a team chat group and would be great to be able to get to it from the TeamApp

Having spent 15+ years as a system specialist & recently retrained as a fitness coach - I ofcourse looked for a 'system'. 100's tested later & no closer to finding something efficient & user friendly. I find this app & site. And I can finally deliver a team 'experience' outside training. I love it, my team loves it - and my life/Biz is easier thanks to team app. It's a win, win, win! Which is what my training is all about. ;)

I have tried a number of teams apps for my Rugby team and this for free beats all the others hands down. The interface is simple, the custom menu is great, you can add whatever suits the needs for your team from chat, sponsors, social media links, events .... the list goes on.
I can’t see why anybody would complain about this app, The only downside is not even a minor issue and that’s the ads, but I suppose that what makes this app free!.
Good App
We use this app for our football team and works well. Only down side I have are the notifications can turned off on the notice board section but haven’t come across a way to do the same for the gallery. I often post stuff on this but honestly every cheer and comment comes through and when you have 40 odd parents in this it becomes a pain. But over all it’s really good for information ect
Very, very good.
Brilliant app, easy to open, read, keeps you almost instantly up to date. Always assuming of course that input is done quickly. Keeps you informed re results, fixtures, KO times, squads, training, games off/on, top scorers, bus leaves at.....and so on. Whatever the club chooses to make available and to whom. Great for players, mums and dads as a source of club information through all the different age groups (in my case) football from youths to reserves.
A free app for a grassroots team
This app is very good and gives you what you need to create what feels like your own app and manage your grassroots team.
I sometimes find that the app development takes place on a Sunday when in the uk this is probably one of the most crucial days to use it which can be a pain.. but this is only probably one in six Sundays.
On the whole my parents like it, it’s easy to use and says what it does on the tin. I think if you want and willing to use a basic affair then this is the app that won’t cause frustration.. lots of communications leads to frustration e.g on the chat scrolling up and down it flicks back to the bottom

Better than expected
Great app. It’s working well for us as a golf team. Booking in and out students for events. All the guys seem to find it easy to accept or decline the event.
Could do with the ability to select a cut off time for replying. But otherwise does everything we could ask of it.
What started as a trial is now a permanent feature.

I’ve tried to update my My app by deleting then downloading but it still jumps. This is becoming a problem when I need to catch up on important topics as I struggle to read the messages properly.
You also need to change the nickname request to email. I’ve had several attempts which are apparently already taken

We use this app to communicate amongst ourselves in the Cowes X One Design sailing fleet.
We are able to add events to the calendar, set alerts, chat about crew availability, share race documents and sooo much more. How did we ever manage without it?

A running club app
Have just set up a couple of hash house harriers clubs on the site. Very easy to set up a run list by duplicating the previous run and changing the details. Also has news and newsletter push notifications too. Great app.

Great way to communicate
This app is so useful for anyone who runs a club or team. We use it for scouts and you can share everything so easily. The message facility allows communication between any number of bespoke groups and the calendar keeps everyone up to date

We have been using this app for an 11 a side amateur football club based in Dubai, Bears Football Club. This has been the most useful app we have ever used and have been successfully using for over 3 seasons. I couldn’t recommend this enough to save all Managers/admins time and hair. Well done TeamApp
Notifications not disappearing is frustrating
This app is great to keep track of my kids footie activities. But it drives me mad as when you read a new notice, the notification count does not disappear. I’m ocd I know but I like my screen to be free of notifications so I’ve had to disable notifications for this app. This means I sometimes miss important messages. Please fix this!!
Great app for sports teams!
This app is brilliant. Finally there's something that's customisable which easily links in our league, doodle and everything else we need. Notifications for MOM votes and events are really helpful too. Super excited to see what else TeamApp can produce in the future

Very useful
Great app, but the red notifications dot on the app icon doesn’t reset when you view the post/notified event. This makes you think there are loads of things that require your attention when there aren’t.

Add to calendar gone
Thought this app brilliant till today. Gone in and the add to calendar has disappeared. I have an up to date iPhone and now it means I have to add events manually 😬. It is even worse now. If you add calendar it adds all 9 events twice a week and you can’t delete them. You then have to hide the calendar as you can’t delete the calendar either. Wouldn’t recommend at all until you consider putting it back to Hoe it was

The ad’s spoil the clearness
Just come back into the app having had time away. 28 notifications and I didn’t know which was what or where to start. The ads got in the way and still can’t really see if I’ve answered everything I’m supposed to. Can’t see any order to it all yet but idea is good in principle. Let’s hope I get used to it

Nice, very nice
Ben nog veel aan het inrichten, maar ik zie nu al dat dit een hele fijne app is en gaat zijn voor onze voetbalvereniging. Alle teams krijgen hun eigen plekje, terwijl er ook een algemeen plekje zal zijn voor mededelingen, oproepen, enz enz.

Ik kan iedere vereniging deze app aanraden. Aanwezigheid doorgeven, nieuwsbrieven, smoelenboek: alles zit er in. Echt een aanrader. Wij gebruiken hem voor ons koor en orkest.

Teamapp is voor iedere club een handige app, en uiteraard gratis, om nieuws, wedstrijden te delen. Het is gebruikersvriendelijk, al zou het soms nog gemakkelijker kunnen. Hopelijk dat het in de toekomst ook in het Nederlands beschikbaar is. Ook om het te gebruiken om sponsorinkomen te genereren. Zeker aan te bevelen.

They need to change the notifications. If you’re an administrator or a coach, you get notifications for everything that everybody does.
They should separate the notifications for sign ups and events. It’d be great to get a message when an event is happening that you’re attending, but not when an event is happening and when somebody signed up for something

Chill on the red dots!
This app drives me crazy with the constant “notifications”. I can’t ever get rid of the red dots and often it’ll flag a message from weeks or months ago that’s not been updated at all. This leads to ignoring and missing actual updates. Please get the app to chill on the red dots and truly just notify of NEW updates. Also, as a non-coach, I also don’t need to know every time someone opens a calendar entry and/or RSVPs. Please fix this and make it friendly to parents that already have to keep up with 800 other school/sports apps.
Buggy Ad Filled but Works
The app allows harmful ads that install spyware and data mining malware. The alerts for chat and news don’t clear unless you enter the app multiple times. Multiple features that result in a clumsy feel resulting in non-use.
Hard to navigate and annoying adds: Incorrect Times
I’m ready to pull my kids from youth soccer because of this App.
Two seasons in a row, coming at wrong time because the app didn’t update times correctly or at all. Last season I followed the spreadsheet but the app event was right. Today I’m following the App event but the spreadsheet is right - albeit with the colors wrong.

You cannot use the app without succumbing to invasive tracking.
Super confusing UI
My son’s soccer league uses this app and I wish they didn’t. The navigation is so confusing and there’s way too much irrelevant info. The option to add the game schedule to my calendar was hard to find. Two stars for at least having basic features.

On par with the other apps I’ve used as far as capability. Not the best workflow out there but useful with some practice and messing around for a bit and figuring things out. Needs a dark mode.

Solid App for Teams/Minor Prod Bug
This app is great. Functionality is solid. No need to go outside the app for team management or communication. I think there is a minor prod bug with the survey module not recognizing the users timezone. Ex: If I’m in the central timezone and I confirmed that was the timezone selected in app, and my current time is 7:00 am and I create a survey to go live at 7:15 am through the survey module, the go-live or start time of the survey, once created and staged, say the publish time is 1:15 pm central. It was an easy fix on my side (back up the start time).
Inconsistent
Buggy, badges show up with no way to clear, chats don’t show. For a communication app it doesn’t make the cut.

App does not easily channel info into clear defined usable spaces. Way too noisy with notifications.
Most team organizers are not technically minded, so the app can easily get cluttered with “noise” Due to poor administration —- now is it the Apps fault?? Partially—- I think the developers need to put the parent/coach experience higher up.
Specific complaints- notifications on my IPhone (iOS 16 and 26) are unusable… they just go off incessantly for minor updates and or no reason. I have to sometimes restart phone to get them to stop.

Update: cannot change event RSVP count. You have to search for an answer )yet to be found). Support? Each email comes back with the same cut and paste response. There is definitely room for someone to create a new app and disrupt this clunky dated one.
Older post: but true;They just updated the UI? The app is clunky to use. Adding events and games is not intuitive. Everyone complains about the sign up process with app. If you are running a leave or team competition look elsewhere, there has to be something better.
Untrue Age Restrictions
I am 12 years of age and this app say you need to be 4+ years old to download and use, however, when I downloaded and attempted to use this app for my travel ball team, it said I had to be 13 years or older to use. This is misinformation and I do not recommend using it unless the app changes its age restrictions to make it clear who is able to use it and who isn’t.

2nd year using and still just as confusing. I have to assume clubs get money from the constant barrage of ads. Hard to navigate and even harder to use. Messages is the only thing that is decent

Ever since I upgraded my phone the 17, the app crashes immediately upon opening. Now I’m missing vital details from my son’s teams.

I wish our team used something else. The ads are frequent and glitchy. If you ever need info quickly, you'll have to watch an add that won't close before you can get the info. I usually have to close and restart the app. Text, email, Google Calendar are all better than this!!

Terrible
This might be one of the worst sports team apps out there. It crashes often, doesn’t update with notifications well, won’t let you delete chats from previous years, and doesn’t have an easy to run interface. The “features” it does provide don’t work well either. Overall, I would never use this app if our school didn’t have this as the only form of communication for our soccer team.
A Must-Have for our golf group
I started an evening golf group in our new neighborhood. Group texts worked well enough when the group size was under, say, ten. Unmanageable for greater numbers. Stack Team works perfectly. The Track Attendance feature puts each golfer in charge of their participation. Admins can also schedule a reminder. We love the app!
Notification Nightmare
Just as several others have stated, the notifications on this app are a big miss. They aren’t removed after viewing/acknowledging several times and despite the # of times this topic has been mentioned to the developer, they haven’t addressed it. If our kids soccer club didn’t make us use this app, we would have moved to another app immediately.
Buggy disaster
Not only are they going to ship a plethora of bugs and lazy interfaces, but they also introduce ads for trying to communicate with your team. I would never voluntarily use this app ever.
Not Great
This app is buggy. False positives of unread messages. Flaky and slow data updates. Not a good app experience as compared to other similar standard UIs. Small images and very little consideration for UX.
Worst app
Not user friendly. I get repeat notifications all the time. Notifications don’t want to clear out. Sometimes I get app notifications but log in and there is nothing new.
Clear notifications
The app does not clear notifications once you’ve read them. You have to go in 2-4x to clear the notification. Awful.

No idea how this app has a 4 star average. It is the worst app out there. Constant ads, terrible non-user friendly layout. It looks like a website from the early 2000s. I can’t wait until our town soccer changes to another app.

Major spacing issues, please fix
Can you please fix your spacing issues!!!! Spacing looks great while editing on a computer BUT then when you look at it on your phone app, it’s completely messed up and adds weird extra spacing between lines etc… This hasn’t been addressed in the 5 years we’ve been using your great app. My rating will go up to 5 stars if this finally gets fixed! I cannot even register my Athlete
Your athlete field validation is wrong. I filled all the requested data to register my Athlete, which is First Name, Last Name, Email, Zip Code I try to save and it shows me an alert “Athlete Date of birth can’t be blank, Graduation year can’t be blank, and Sport can’t be blank” and in the form those fields were never requested. Cool app to register athletes but you cannot even register one
Sign in/sign up
Whenever I try to sign in on this app, it tells me incorrect password. When I try to reset my password it doesnt let me. This bug needs to get fixed.

Apps are supposed to make finding and getting information easier. This app is anything but.
Hijacked app
I signed up for the app per the direction of my daughter’s soccer club. This app took me to a form to “verify” my registration with a credit card, which apparently took me to another site that is now posting fraudulent charges against my account. Beware!

It kicked me out when I tried to sign in again it wouldn’t work I used a different password still wouldn’t work fix your stupid app or throw it of the face of this earth idc
Annoying App
The “alert tune” is annoying. The amount of advertising is annoying.
The app is very balky - I get alerts I haven’t read threads from days ago, when I cleared all of them.

Notifications
This app is driving me crazy. After reading new messages in the chat, it still shows that I have new messages (with a red bubble and a number of “unreads”.) However, when I go into the chat, it shows that there are no new messages to read. So all the time when I look at my phone, I see the notification bubble, but it’s not accurate.
Notification are annoying
I will have to go in 2 different ways for 2 different sections to get the red dots to go away. You click on your team and you have to click on Chats and then the chat your in to clear red dots then back all the way out. Then you have to go into your team and notifications which usually doesn’t show anything in it but just shows the red dot and then back all the way out. The chat is generating it.
Then you have to go down to the bottom of the screen and do the same thing for chats and notifications. Once you read it. It should disappear. One notification take away the red dots on chat and make it to where you have to go through notifications to view it and either at the bottom or through the team not both. I had to turn off badges because it drove me crazy. Group me is way better of a platform, but our school coach insist on using this app.
Not user friendly
It takes so many taps to get between teams. If I go through the specific team, the chat notification doesn’t clear; I have to go to the chat icon. I don’t like that I have to refresh the schedule to see that I’ve RSVP’d to events. The Upcoming Events switches over too early so you can’t see what’s happening today at a glance. It is taking forever to get a second parent added. Overall, it is not user-friendly.

Full screen ads interrupt you all the time!
Using this app is like waiting for a time bomb to go off. You can be sitting there trying to RSVP to a team event and any second a full screen ad will pop up. The entire experience of using the app is basically a constant sense of dread. It does sync with Google calendar, which is good. It allows you to at least not have to open the app in most cases. I have used a variety of team apps, and this ad thing is unforgivable.
Not a great app
It’s very cumbersome. have to click, click click, click to get to anything. It doesn’t sync to stacksports online for players. I have to have every player email the support desk to be added. The rsvp is not an easy yes/ no response. Like I said click click click click click click….. finally get there. It has potential… but lots of work to do!

This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever had to use. Notifications don’t clear like they should and you have to check multiple screens to get them to clear. We have missed schedule items because notifications don’t clear in the process of diving through the screens we can’t tell what’s actually new and what’s already been cleared. Just the worst!
Outdated
Feels like I’m using MySpace again. The app constantly crashes, when I post a message it sometimes doesn’t post it only for me to have to write it all over again, sharing videos is a nuisance and quality gets destroyed, no gifs (it’s 2025 c’mon now), and the user interface is just super outdated/slow. Only cool features are the built in month payment portals for team dues and that’s about it. Player interactions have decreased due to the things mentioned above so guys either don’t use it or just completely deleted it.
Notifications
This app serves its purpose but there are other similar apps I like better. There should be a way to customize notifications. And once you click on/view them, they don’t always go away. The little red notification bubbles that won’t go away drive me crazy!
I hate this app
I have to use this app for my son’s soccer team. Every time you click on anything an ad pops up. Also, for some reason notifications don’t work real well. I’ve been through all my settings but they just don’t come through but to the main notifications center, the only way I see them is if I open the app and specifically look for them. On top of all of this, it’s not user friendly, I’ve used them all for various sports teams, Spond, league apps
GameChanger, band, literally any other team app is better.
ANNOYING
I’m sorry all of these apps for school and sports activities are terrible and this one is nothing different! First of all I receive notifications on the app so I don’t need email notifications. That being said I have tried to turn off the email notifications at least 15 times now and I still receive email notifications.
My biggest problem with this app is the notifications themselves. There is no way to choose what type of notifications you want to receive which makes this app completely useless. We have approximately 60 girls on varsity, JV and freshman cheer which is over 100 parents sharing this app. Well every single time someone posts a question in the chat or responds to a question in the chat or joins the chat, I receive a notification and it doesn’t matter if it’s 3 o’clock in the morning!!!! The freshman team, which my daughter is NOT even on, has been having a ton of chat activity today and I have received over 49 notifications in one day due to this chat activity. I DO NOT WANT ANY NOTIFICATIONS ABOUT ANY CHAT ACTIVITY. This is my daughter’s third year on this team and I already have a group of moms that I text from my personal cell phone if I have a question. WHY CAN’T THIS APP ALLOW THE FOLLOWING: 1) TURN OFF EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS COMPLETELY. 2). CUSTOMIZE THE NOTIFICATION SETTINGS? Then it might be useful. Other than that I’m just going to delete the app because I get so many notifications that I don’t even check it for relevant information. This app has become completely worthless to me.
Everything in one place - Great!
This app allows links to related websites, like spirit-wear, cheer teams, Facebook, franchise websites, and sponsors. It allows for all documents and all links to documents in one place. It would be infinitely better if documents could be deleted or if access to documents could be changed AFTER they are created. I had numerical docs set up for ease to release on specific dates, with specific access in mind, only to find later that the docs were permanently inaccessible to non-administrators. I can load everything twice, but I think that Team App support might find a way to fix this issue for the benefit of everyone using the app. In all fairness, I haven’t spoken with support about it yet, but this was probably a foreseeable problem.
There are so many great things about the app that make it useful, such as ability to add links to maps of playing field locations, team schedules, scores, etc. I have only begun to get all of the functions working, and people are amazed at how nice it is to have everything in one place. I’m hoping the functions will get even better in time. Other than the documents access problems, this app is terrific.
Great App Overall
For the most part, I like this app. There are so many things I like about it, but let me tell you about the things I don’t like. The chat seems to update very slow, and sometimes sends double messages or half messages. They end up clearing up later, but us a pain when communicating instantly. I have to keep refreshing. Also, I should be able to edit my messages if I make a mistake on describing something to my team, I should not have to completely retype it. Also, I could not find a way to change scheduled practices to games without changing everything in the future due to recurring events. I should be able to select to not change other events. It was easy to enter all our practice dates recurring, then it was a nightmare to later change some of those dates to matches without affecting everything in the future on that day. Other than that, I would gladly give a 5th star if these issues were fixed.
This app is terrible.
This app is terrible. Falls short in many ways. 1) Can't easily find a team membership directory of players and parents. Instead the directory includes some players from our team and random other players from other unrelated teams. 2) Availabilities is awkward and frustrating. You can't easily update availabilities. InsteAd you have to go into individual events and you can't see which dates you have updated for availability unless going back into the event, causing you to go into the event again and again to double check whether you have updated that event. 3) Event (Calendar) will show new event, but it is hard to find the new event. Sometimes the new event doesn't show so you really never know if you have a new event without scrolling through the entire calendar. 4) Ads. We get served ads which is just frustrating.
My other children's teams use Team Snap which is heads and shoulders much better. Calendar, Events, Roster and player list are all easy to navigate. I wish this GPS would also consider Team Snap and get rid of this cumbersome awkward piece of junk. No I don't work for Team Snap. Just a frustrated percent.
Now hard to keep up with new posts from each team.
I have 4 boys. Each child plays 3-5 different sports. That is potentially 17 different teams. A few use different apps and a few have the same team app group, but my point is it’s a lot to keep up with. My husband also coaches some teams. The newest major update made it very difficult to keep up with each team individually. Some teams I have to monitor closely, some can wait a little while. Now the app lumps all notifications together and does not put a notification dot on the main screen on the team with an unread post. If I get a ton of notifications, I have to go into each team individually to see if there is a new post. It’s too easy to miss a notification/new post now. Please, if you change nothing else, put a notification dot on each team with a new post on the main screen. I also don’t like how the teams are listed horizontally now requiring a slide to the side at the top instead of the traditional scroll.
Please make links easier in chat!
My complaints: 1) there isn't an option to go back and search/find information in the chat efficiently, 2) you cannot send video links in chat & sending a video directly is distorted and 3) a web link sent in the chat isn't easily accessible from a device, you can only link directly from a computer. This needs to be fixed. It's a major drawback. My team has to type the whole thing out into a web browser. It won't even let them copy and paste. ☹️
Having said that, this app still makes communicating with my team and parents simple. We use it mostly for the chat groups, documents, and events tabs. All information can be quickly updated for everyone, which is a bonus. I love that it can a accessed by mobile regardless of the software, as well as online. That's makes it convenient for kids that do not have phones or {heaven forbid} get grounded from their phones! 😉
If the three things listed above were to be fixed, I would not hesitate to give it 5 stars.
99% Great App
I migrated to Team App from Team Snap to avoid the expensive fees and have been pretty happy. I was a little confused at first on how to set up my parents for communication versus my team roster but I figured it out. I like that I can customize my dashboard with a fun team graphic and for parents to easily find our schedule, roster, chat, news, gallery, custom link to our league site for standings, etc. That covers everything that’s most important.
My only complaints are that you can only upload 1 video and 3 images to the gallery (pretty tough to cover a game in just 3 images), but more importantly, when you receive a notice for a calendar update, selecting the update notice takes you to today on the calendar - not to the date of the update - so you’re on your own for figuring out where exactly the change is. Relatively minor, but things that should be addressed to make the app 5 stars.
Very Helpful Team Tool!!!
As a parent and a person with multiple kids in multiple sports, this is the best app I have been able to utilize by far. There have been several other applications that I have been exposed to, and utilized, and this is by far the best! I was sent an invite by my kid’s coach, I am able to see the schedule (the team has different age groups), that schedule hooks up with the calendar on my phone, and makes changes when the coaches do, I am able to chat with my child’s coaches and different parents, as well as our team’s parent group chat. It’s easy to confirm that I’m going to be there. There are many other capabilities that the team
Has not yet utilized, because games aren’t schedule yet, but I’ve been utilizing this for a couple of months and it’s the best application that I have had to use to schedule team activities. Keep up the good work!!
Dance team review
I like most things on this app so far. I do wish we could post videos up to 2-2 1/2 min since that’s how long a dance routine is. So when evaluating, it’s hard to do because we have to break up the video into small sections and post multiple videos. Also, I wish there was a section that was an excel type spreadsheet that was usable. And i wish I could see who sees stuff and who doesn’t. Even in the chat, it shows the first few people who see it and then it turns to a number of people and you can’t click on it to see which people seen it so I’m not sure who misses seeing my posts. I love the calendar/events section. It is so great for keeping everyone on track and organized, especially with the reminders. I’m still learning new things on the app and finding ways to utilize it to work for my needs.
Best app hands down!
I run 3 bowling leagues and have been using this app for a little over a year now. I tested and tried many different apps before selecting this one and I sure am glad I did. I can customize pretty much everything and it’s FREE! Only issue I’ve run into is getting some of the parents to actually download it and use it, but that’s not the apps fault. LOL It’s very user friendly, behind the scenes though has a learning curve. I just kept playing around with settings and trying different things to see how it would appear to members. I’ve had to reach out to support and they promptly responded and helped walk me through the problem I was having. I can’t say enough good things about this app as is surpasses everything out on the market for team organization! Download it!! You need it more then you think you do!
So far it’s just ok
I feel that overall the app developers aren’t sure how far to take some features. Some are super detailed and others aren’t robust enough. I appreciate the app is trying to be customizable, but too much isn’t actually helpful. I did have a hard time with repeating events in the calendar and trying to edit them. If I’m the person publishing a newsletter I shouldn’t also receive a notification when the post happens. The whole setting up a team, then adding teams on top of it, is confusing. Our whole organization doesn’t use the app, just our team, but I had to basically set it up like I was running it for the organization to make the features work. I feel like where Team Reach was too simple, Team App is too complicated. Remember these apps are typically updated by team managers or coaches who more often than not have a full time job and don’t have time to become an app expert.

New Review: I was happy to see all of the feature updates and some of the recommended updates. Would still like to at least see the recurring option of “yearly” added. This would help with birthdays and events that happen annually on the same day. Right now the highest is monthly. Thanks!
Original Review: I was one of the first adopters of this app and have enjoyed seeing it grow to where it is at today. With that being said it is missing some of the basic features if it wants to compete with Team Snap. 1. Ability to see how many have viewed “News” (analytics) 2. Add the ability to input game specific in formation like uniform and court/field. 3. Calendar should have a yearly option for birthdays. Where are the updates???
Team App? More like Team Crapp
Mediocre and diseased with ads. It has some decent features, like scheduling, chat, and the ability to post picture galleries, but those features are poorly executed, almost to the point of not being functional. Hokey feel all around. I’d rather use an app where you can start a GROUP with you and ME (no ads and a simpler interface that does all the same things).
Update: Oh look, they responded! Totally relevant response. “Oh you don’t like the ads? Pay us and they will go away.” No mention of how the chat function, schedule function, and notification system all operate like a 5 year old designed it.
Update #2: Oh look, another response. Why email feedback when we can just do it here? My feedback: delete the app and use groupme instead, which is simpler, more user-friendly, less hokey, more responsive, has no ads, and does everything yours does but better. My kid’s coach insists on using your app, otherwise I would never use it
Notifications
When notifications come in and I click on that, it just opens the app to the last page that I was on. Typically a notification would or should trigger the app to open that notification. When something comes in I never know where it is so I don’t feel like this app is user-friendly at all. I don’t know if this is an event coming up or if it is a chat or if it is something posted in the news and the team has three coaches and they all use this app in different ways and I never can’t find the new information so notification comes in and I click on it. I would like it the actual notification. if a coach posts in the chat, then I would like to go straight to the chat if the coach posts an event, then I went to click on that notification, and it actually opened the event instead of just open the homepage of the app.
Poor developer action
There are many reviews about spam ads and clickbait. In each the developer requests the reviewer send an email. It’s as if the developer doesn’t use their own app or conduct quality checks. The spam is everywhere and INTENTIONALLY misleading to appear as part of the app. I clicked a big green button that featured text that says “Click Start, Activate your account, Access your content.” The ads are everywhere but when I first joined my club’s page I clicked on the button and provided the information. I am not overwhelmed with spam emails. This deceptive ad—an ad the developer is profiting from—is nothing more than a ruse to gather personal information and use that information for phishing, spam and other inappropriate purposes. I’m getting dozens of spam emails every day. This is insane and I cannot believe the developer is that ignorant of the ads on their app and the nefarious intent behind those ads.
UPDATE: It took three reviews to get the developer to finally remove a deceptive ad and in their response to me their suggestion was to enable app tracking so their spam advertisers could get information about me from my other apps, which include my banking, childcare and schooling, work, calendars and schooling, chat and email… with constant privacy breeches I have no clue why anyone would allow apps to track their activity across other apps—I certainly wouldn’t allow an app with a proven track record of allowing spam ads. Stack-the advertisement YOU allowed created an intentionally misleading button to trick users into clicking on their ad so that advertiser could gather personal information and within minutes my email account was overwhelmed with spam. YOU allowed that. You failed to screen your advertisers and happily collected their money. Tracking had nothing to do with that. That is simple greed and a complete disregard for those using your app. The ad you finally removed had no purpose other than to trick your users and to gather information they thought was being provided for the club they were a member of.
Ugh. The Ads
Works well to manage team communication. However, every now and then I’ll open the app to read a message or check the schedule and an ad immediately starts playing. An ad without a mute option on the screen, therefore, the sound cannot be quickly stopped. An ad with sound that startles me so that I juggle my phone like I’m auditioning for the circus trying to turn the volume down manually. It’s like the Russian roulette of app opening; will an ad start or will it not. It is like those canned biscuits that pop open before you can get the wrapping off. If you use the version with ads and you are startled easily, make sure to silence your phone before opening the app. It will save you’re heart from a few skipped beats, possibly extending your life.
Great app but could use a few tweaks
This app was recommended by a parent for our team who had had as good experience with it for another team. .
The good:
- Easy to set up. I set it up fort or team in about 10 minutes.
- Easy to customize. Super easy to use with lots of customizations possible. You can relabel buttons on the app to fit your team's needs.
The not-so-good:
- Not enough flexibility in setting up buttons. There are currently spots for three "links" buttons, which is not enough for me. I think every button should offer the admin the option of taking you to a link or a photo or a file.
- The app doesn't allow the same degree of customization as the web version. And the mobile web version doesn't offer the same options as the desktop version. We often don't know where to find live scores, heat sheets, etc until the day of our event, so on-the-fly edits are essential. Sometimes we'll need to link to a url, sometimes a doc, and sometimes I'll just take a photo of it.
Overall, I have had a good experience with TeamApp, but I hope they can make it just a little bit better.
Some positives/hard to find things
The interface looks good, and appears to function well as designed. However it is difficult to keep track of things as a parent because you have too many places to look for things. It seems as though there are too many ways to enter things that aren't easy to find if your not the person that entered them. There is a news, event, gallery and schedule area. All of which have comment sections. If you want to see the latest updates or catch up on things you have to guess how the item was entered then go to the comments on each individual entry or scroll through the list of notifications that you get for each time someone adds a comment to anything, cheers a photo, or adds content. Seems like a message board would be easier to quickly view "messages" and find out updates.
Don't auto delete notifications!
Great ap all around; would rate it four or five stars. However, it's very, very, very frustrating that notifications are automatically deleted after they've been viewed - especially when they contain event times and dates. Leave viewed notifications in the notification screen, and then give users the ability to save or delete them. I'm not sure why the developers don't understand this, and I can't think of another ap that does this with notifications. Most of the time, it is easier to view dates and times in a notification, instead of having to tap through three or four screens to view the same info. Especially when the ap is being utilized for a large organization with several teams across multiple age groups.
Very Good App
I like this app because it allows you to update on any device and it has a website for your team with all the same set of features. I used it for managing 3 basketball teams and now for managing a softball team. A real nice feature is that you can customize the names of the buttons. For instance, instead of the default 'Events,' I renamed it 'Schedule' because it also allows parents and players to sync the practices and games to their own device calendar or to their Google calendar.
One thing I would like to see: capture/display final score of games. What I'm doing in those instances is going back to the game and changing the title to either "win" or "loss" with the final score. It would be nice to display the team record on the front page of screen of the app.
Another feature might be showing an update on the first screen in the app of the next 1-2 events or the next events coming up on the schedule for the weekend. That would be a good way to help parents and players plan for upcoming weekend activities.
But I highly recommend this app!!
Not just for teams!
Been using this app for 1 1/2 years for our non profit organization to have one place for announcements, updates, links, and a calendar. It has it all. We can’t afford the cost to get rid of ads, but ads don’t interfere with performance at all, distraction but not a problem. What I like is that it is also usable online so if someone doesn’t have a device they can still keep updated via website. The only option I’d like to see is the ability to change the reply options; currently it’s No, Maybe, Yes...I would like the option to customize those replies. Like I said, fully functional app...private chats, pictures, really great!
Almost Perfect
As a club director over several teams, I love having everything in one place. The app
Is user friendly and offers just about anything we could ever want. However, the two biggest sources of frustration for me is that my restricted admins cannot edit anything I create. Since I create 99% of the our teams information, editing also falls into my lap. It would be much less stressful for the restricted admins to be allowed to make edits. Instead they can only go and recreate a new event entirely, but this can be confusing for users as they may not know which event is accurate.
Another major headache for me is that there isn’t an option when editing to choose for that event only or all future events. This creates so much extra work for me because 1) I either have to create each individual practice for every team or 2) I have to remember to go back after each edited event to re-edit the future events.
These seem like two easy fixes that would make your users management so much easier and smoother. Speaking for myself, this two issues almost make me want to give zero stars.
Way too many bugs
I use this app simply because this is the platform the school I work for has chosen to use to communicate with students.
I really dread using this app.
There are so many bugs it hinders the use of the app itself. For instance, whenever an add pops up the whole app crashes and I have to restart. The notifications are wonky and red dots will appear even though you have already cleared it. When posting on events or on the calendar a lot of times it will not go through completely and will have to add it several times before it gets posted.
Other than the massive amount of bugs it’s not a bad app and has a lot of potential if the app worked more smoothly.
The app is completely updated so devs PLEASE don’t tell me to download latest update, just PLEASE fix the app.
Love with one suggestion
I am the head coach of a high school volleyball in a small school. I made one team for all levels but made different access groups within it. JV:Varsity Players, JV/Varsity Parents, JH Players, JH Parents, Elementary Players, Elementary Parents, Support Staff(administration, community stakeholders, and others that are involved with our program in other ways), Coaches amd Senior Players. You can link the players with their parents.
I love many things about it. The only reason I give it a 4 is I wish that we could put the scores next to the corresponding games in our schedule. Also, I wish there was an option to put stats for kids to look at.
I still have a lot to learn on features but i love this communication tool! Also, it is nice that when you message the player access group, it automatically goes to the parents as well so it keeps communication professional between players and coaches always. However, if you need to only communicate with the parents, you can message only the parents.

HATE this app!
I hate using this app! Random ads pop up when I am trying to click to either read a message from a coach, or go back to the previous menu to click to a different team. I HATE having to wait for an ad to get done just to read what time practice gets done tomorrow. It is not very user friendly, I have a hard time navigating between different sports and each coach has their sport group set up a little different, so even on the same app, I can’t contact each coach the same way. Ugh - I have SIX apps just for contacting coaches/teachers for my kids in school, and this one is my least favorite. Maybe I’m just irritated at having to use so many stupid apps for stuff we could LITERALLY JUST PUT IN AN EMAIL OR GROUP TEXT, but for real - the frequent ad pop ups are the worst.
Athletes and parents are kept in the loop
Our track coach uses this app. It is a perfect way to keep us all informed with easy access to the sports schedule, coaches’ phone numbers, and rules (found in the document folder). We are informed of schedule changes, bus times for leaving school and arriving home, due dates for things like team pictures and uniform hand in, and more. I don’t have to worry about missing information from my child because the coach sends the same messages out for parents and athletes. I’m pretty sure the coach now gets very few phone calls because the information that we need is found within the app.
Terrific app
This app has been SO helpful! I do school sports and activity’s and my teachers/coaches use this app to communicate with us. We can ask questions and get quick answers just like texting you can see who on the team/class etc has seen it. It’s been helpful with sports bc my coaches can send out things to tell when times change, practice is canceled or moved, and any other reminders or announcement. This easy to work and simple app is highly recommended by me. My one and only complaint is that if you have a big group sometimes it can get annoying when your phones blowing up😂😂😂 all in all this is a great app 👍🏼👍🏼
Terrible app
If you like a slow running app that doesn’t take away notifications not only in the app but also on the home screen badges after you have looked at the notification several times. Then this is the app for you. I have to constantly check the app to make sure i haven’t missed something because once an update is opened and read it does not take the notification away. EVER. I’ve re installed several times and it still does not function properly. It’s also not user friendly. You get what you pay for here kids. If you’re cheap and need a so so app to sort of kinda keep things organized then by all means use this. TeamSnap all the way. Group me is also not the same type of app but for just keeping info in one spot for teams it works better than this one.
Takes some practice
Keeping up with teens and sports can be a challenge! Team App gives us the flexibility to adjust team notes, schedules, rosters, and practices on the fly! Easy for group members to access and use. Being a team manager for a soccer club, I use this as our main line of communication. It does take some practice to get the hang of everything and how to use efficiently. One suggestion is to allow multiple picture uploads for the galleries. The “groups” function is probably the most difficult to maneuver but eventually figured it out.
Well done and like, just some polishing to be flawless!
Mostly good, except for “new” status indicator
It’s ok, but could be much better especially since I’m forced into using it b/c my child’s school uses it. As a parent, the more I have to use this app with multiple “teams”, the more annoying it gets because the red “new” indicator on various things only changes when you click into a screen with indicators, not when you go back up from sub items to the screen with indicators.
Downgrading my rating of this app from 3 stars to 2 stars after using for a while, specifically due to the bugs involving the indicators.
** Updated review. My comment to developer reply: good info, but clicking the bell icon to mark all as read will mark all read in all teams; there is no option to mark all read in just ONE specific team.
Needs modification to equal other apps
I was a long-time user of a rival app (TeamSnap, 4.8/5 in the App Store), but the manager of our new team uses TeamApp.
I found sign up to be convoluted and ended up with a combination parent/child account instead of what I had intended.
Once subscribed to my team’s feed, there are two different buttons show me (effectively) my scheduled events: Events and Schedule. Similarly, there are two other buttons that have basically the same function: News and Chat.
When “News“ is posted, one may leave comments, but it does not become a chat-thread and seems to go unnoticed. Within “Chat,” having multiple chat threads may keep things “more organized,” but at the same time requires accessing multiple threads to keep up. I find one running chat thread to be more efficient.
Basically, I find that there are too many different places that one might need to go to get team information.
There is also some user interface quirkiness: If one must delete and reload the app, all news, messages, and photos are “new.” The app knew that you saw them while you are logged in but if you ever have to reload, you start over and must access them all to make them “seen” and it still doesn’t eliminate the “new“ banner. One must reopen the app for that. (And even then it doesn’t always work....)
After days of staring at the notification banner, I discovered that not only must one read the chat messages, but one must also separately tap on the Notification Inbox on the home screen of the app to clear “new” banner and red message notifications.
I love the ability to have buttons that directly open a browser to our club website and scheduling.
It is possible that this is merely a configuration issue on the part of our manager, but it should be very difficult for a user to set up a bad UI. TeamSnap does everything thing TeamApp does, but more simply and clearly.
Pop Up Ads & Notifications
I like the app except that often it takes a while for it to recognize that I have read the latest updates so my red dot 🔴 for notifications stays highlighted and I dislike all the pop up advertisements that have nothing to do with soccer. I find both of these things to be annoying. Other then those two items it’s great. Easy to use and navigate in. I do wish there was a way to search for a key word in your messages/ chats. Since we use the messenger / chat part of the app often information shared gets lost deep into a message and you forget which chat a parent / coach stated something in.
Good team organization app
This app is very useful. My parents and I are loving it! I would like to have a way to attach the names of my archers to their parents. When the parents register for the app, they only enter their name and there is no place to enter their child’s name. I would also like to be able to see all who have viewed messages and who has given “cheers“ to the gallery pictures. I’m also having trouble figuring out how to give access to certain parts just to coaches and other parts just to parents. I see how to build the groups but it’s not clear on how to assign the groups to the different sections of the app.
Better than Texting for Men’s Softball Team
Having players indicate whether they can make the game or not is a real pain for the coach when texting. The number of group or individual texts is hard to organize and manage. In Team App, all answers are recorded and listed. If a team member has not responded, a simple touch on the screen sends another notice to only those who have not responded. Also, all team members can see the list, which helps them know whether they can take a night off or be certain to play because otherwise, we would not have enough players.
Needs option to see alerts without sounds
Only two options exist.
1. Turn on notifications which generates an audible notification whenever anyone on your team comments or updates and you get a number on app of how many activities you missed.
2. Turn off notifications where you don’t get even the number of activities overlaid on the app icon. You get the fun of having to open the app and drill down to each team to see if any new activities occurred based on time stamps. 😤
Please add a middle ground. I don’t want to hear the audible when my drunk teammates are having a conversation at midnight but I need to know when important activities may have been added.
Calendar syncing does not function
I am a GPS MA parent. After a mighty struggle, I finally was able to link Team App to my Google calendar. This should be much easier. Now I notice that when events are added or changed by the coach, the new events do not show up on my google calendar. This is a basic functionality of an app for a sports team. Knowing when and where to show up is essential. Please get this sorted out.
I agree with the previous reviewer, Teamsnap is a much better product. Not as much clicking up and down through windows, calendar syncing, website/ app syncing. Teamsnap is well worth the $100/team.
Syncing with Google calendar continues to be a problem. Getting this basic feature right is so easy on Teamsnap and other platforms is seamless. I continue to be totally disappointed with h Team App.
I left Team Snap and saved my parents $$$ with Team App
Team App is so much better than Team Snap and BEST is that it's free! My parents had to pay for Team Snap. I am using it to add videos I've taken at games and at practice to teach the kids. 50+ teams in my town league and team app works perfect as one app for the whole league. Coaches can push notifications to their team. And the league can push notifications to coaches or all parents as needed. The parade was cancelled this morning due to rain and every parent on team app had an alert on their smart phone as a PUSH NOTIFICATION. Awesome!
Terrible
My kids play sports and we are required to use this app. We have used other sports app and this is by far the worst by many magnitudes. It is hot garbage. Does not provide notifications (for example “chat update: practice cancelled” …no red badge on the app icon even though all notifications are enabled) you have to click through several layers to get to your “team” to see updates. Sometimes I think it is so clunky I am just k clicking down through the same layers multiple times. The ads. Have to watch ads just to see your kids sports updates. And you can’t easily share the schedule with anyone. No way to just sent it to grandparents or even your spouse. You can’t even invite them to join the team. This is the junkiest app ever created.
Great app & support
This is the first time I have ever given a 5 star rating on an app. I have used many apps For my travel baseball team over 4 years in business & I stumbled on this app hunting for a more customizable app. On top of being free, it provides way to generate brand income & promote my sponsors. I am extremely happy with this app & have now moved all my teams to this one app.
If you have used team snap, game changer or other sport apps I highly recommend trying this one. Worth the effort.

Just what we needed!
Our homeschool parents are on the go a lot and are using smart phones for everything. They rarely get a chance to sit down at a computer so we needed a communication system that could all be done in a smart phone. This is it. It loads lots of pictures and videos quickly right from my phone without the hassle of navigating Facebook. This is very easy to use. Parents are getting a ding on their phones when new events are posted to the calendar and also a reminder the day before it takes place. Very effective!
Team App needs to add “liking” to messages in the chat
I use Team App for my Nordic ski team and I find that it works incredibly well for our needs/purposes. I am always able to find the information I need easily and it is super helpful to stay in the loop!! The one criticism I have for team App, however, is that they really need to add the ability to like messages in the chats on the app. This would be very convenient in terms of holding team wide votes, getting opinions, and expressions general agreement. Please consider adding this to the next update as it will be very beneficial.
Love this app
I have a Girl Scout troop. We tried so many different ways including many apps to try and find a way to stay organized and keep all parents informed. We failed many times but since finding team app it has been so much easier to organize our troop and activities. Plus we have found many other troops and even the main Girl Scouts uses this app so it also makes it easy to communicate with other troops on activities and the best part of all is the help at cookie time when there is questions. Thank you for such a great app!
So so soccer app
Not sure about this one. I've worked with 3 different apps and I don't think this one is the most user friendly. First off, can't figure out how to adjust notifications so that they don't make noise. Turns out receiving tons of updates to schedules in sound form is not ideal for most people. Also, I'm not sure if our club set it up incorrectly so it may be user error but we don't have just our team, we have everyone's team in our entire region. It would be much easier if we could only see our own team because it just doesn't make any sense to see and to be able to rsvp to all other teams. And to be chided by the coaches when folks respond to the wrong team... not well thought out from a user standpoint
Not User Friendly
Every time I get a notification I go in and there is no new measage at the top and I can’t see any noticeable changes. Then a week later I was reading through messages and noticed some I had missed, and the info. would’ve been useful at the time but I didn’t see it in time. My son showed up for a game he wasn’t supposed to be in, so he wasted his time getting ready and driving over there for nothing. I wish the app was more user-friendly and easy to follow as new messages come in. As it is now I can’t tell which messages are new or unread. I also hate the ads that show up in the feed. I don’t want my son’s game messages mixed with advertisements! It’s such a hassle, almost not worth even having the app.

🏈If you are typing a message (usually the long instructional messages) and the phone rings you will lose everything you’ve typed immediately even if you don’t answer and have to do it all over again. The work around is to type everything in notes or in a text and copy and paste in the app when you are ready to post.
Works ok
App was chosen by Baseball coach for my sons team, primarily to assist in managing schedules. We have also used team snap with an older son.
Seems to work fine for its purpose, although I wish all our coaches would use the same app so I didn’t need to have separate ones on my phone and switch between them constantly. That said, I find team snap easier to navigate. My primary issue with team app is just that it feels like I have to drill down so many times just to find the schedule - pick the team, pick the schedule, and then pick the team again. Feels very repetitive and annoying. Only takes an additional second, but it just feels cumbersome.
