This app is great for managing F3. I’d like to use it more for other events like rollerblading etc. need to get the word out so more people use it.

Great app that is so easy to use! Was very easy to set up and managed to do so quickly and so far have had no issues with the app!
Files area
In the recent update the files area is too hidden and not easy to reach. My group preferred the icon on the Home Screen to access the shared files.

After the death of Path my friends and I chose Band as our new home. It’s not great, the Okay reaction emoji was a decent addition though

Needs ability to have replies to Notifications
At the moment people can react to notifications but called reply. Our building manager uses it so this is a real gap.

So since downloading I have had notification after notification of people attempting to get into my email address. I know it’s this app because I very rarely download apps (once every few months) so notice the difference in activity between each one. So I’ll be uninstalling and warning everyone.

Can be a wee bit slow for messages to come through but this is a great app for managing bands - whatsapp, dropbox and facebook all in one
Missing search filters
Great little app, but it is missing search filters like “by date” . When I do a search within all posts on the app I get results ranging from the last 2 years in random order, which is silly. There needs to be a “sort by” filter where we can filter all results by various timeframes and by newest posts first.
If I’m searching for an item I don’t want to see posts from 1-2 years ago first.
Other than that a great app for like minded hobbyists.
Slow And Clunky
Been forced to use this app but it’s slow and unreliable. Watching any video footage posted takes too long to load, the app fails to give me notifications all the time, the calendar is difficult to use - it’s a solution that doesn’t work to a problem that didn’t exist!

As a user, I am struggling to find the events that I am yet to RSVP to. In each event you can who is yet to participate, but would be useful as a member to have a list event where I am still to respond.

Using VoiceOver with band
Band has gradually been getting worse and worse with each update for uses of VoiceOver. Now I can’t get to the home tab et cetera at the bottom of the screen all I can see is the messages. Please fix ASAP used to be quite a good app. Please make it more friendly for blind people using VoiceOver.

We are wanting to set up a band for the young people in our Scouts Troop, but when they try to sign up, it asks them to join ‘Band for Kids’ which is not available here. These young people are 12 years old and over, so why can’t they just join Band?
Notifications not working since update

Firstly the mandatory I don’t normally do this BUT
I love band, I joined on the 4th of May after PlayStation closed their mobile community app down. Running a community from the PlayStation is tedious. So I was at a loose end, so I searched and found band.
The applications are limitless! You can share files, videos gifs, do polls and set goals. Therefore you could use it as a business app, a community, with your work colleagues anything really!
I personally use it as a gaming community and a personal one like my own private Facebook! It’s more intimate! and I like that
The developers are constantly updating and improving the app and send notifications of the updates which is nice! Well done and thank you for my slice of sanctuary!!
How such an amazing thing is free I will never know because your not bombarded with adds, no in app purchases, no subscription! When so many do now.

Massive typing regression
I was really enjoying using this app until one of the recent updates completely disabled the iOS keyboard autocorrect, so now posting anything has become an incredibly frustrating chore.
I can only assume this is a bug as it’s such a horrible user experience. I’ll put my rating back up when it has been sorted.
Bad update
On the most recent update this week there seems to be a deterioration with the text writing feature. When I am composing a post, all of the usual auto correction features that I would expect as standard on my iPhone - capitalisation for new sentences etc. are missing. This makes it really frustrating trying to write a post on my phone. It was never like this before I’m sure. Also if you are taking feedback, the app has always seemed really slow to update itself with notifications, there seems to be a real lag.

Challenge Feature has been great for lockdown!
We have been using the band app for almost a year now. We love it, our kids love and the parents love it!
The new challenger feature has been particularly useful as the UK recently went into Covid-19 related lockdown.
My only complaint so far is relating to the progress updates. We set a realistic update request of 1 per week but it would be brilliant if this was a minimum requirement rather than fixed. Some of our kids were a little late to start or super keen which meant trying to post twice within 7 days. Annoyingly they couldn’t post more than once and ended up posting their update on the main board. (And therefore not attached to the challenge itself!)
It would also be great (as someone else has previously suggested) to be able to reply to individual comments.

I use this for my work team to keep in contact, works really well & easy communication options to make tasks effective.
Couple of suggestions -
1 - when posting on the main news feed, when someone comments it would be good to have an option to reply to that specific comment rather than it currently being in a time bound order of who comments 1st.
2- a dark mode would look really cool on this app

The app itself works fine however, there is no way to turn chat, comments and post sounds off which is EXTREMELY annoying. There is a quiet mod option but you can only quieten it for several hours at a time, that’s the only thing that puts me off

Meh, I want to use band but...
My Destiny 2 clan is considering switching Band from Discord for clan activity. So far I like many things but really feel the chat side needs work in way of the user interface. Moving around pages is a little clumsy. I’d also like more options for customisation of privileges. In discord I can assign roles to all members giving more of a community feel. Silly things like changing the colour of the name. Also more admin options to be able to edit/delete chat posts which may be inappropriate or irrelevant.

Now been using for over a year to organise or 2 brass bands! Superb app for rehearsal and gig organisation as well as a private social forum for members. Personally find each update is filled with useful new additions - keep up the good work!!
UK day light saving bug
Really like the App and I think I can make
It work for scheduling a large group trip to the USA later I the year.
However if I post an event in the calendar this month all is fine. If I post one in May it shows 1 hour ahead. Is there a day light saving bug?

I just got it last week and I absolutely love it. You can message people from other 'bands' and post pictures onto your feed. Only put 4 stars because it lacks the option o post videos sadly. Maybe add this in?? Thanks.

I tried to create an account but it just loaded and loaded for ages so I gave up. I tried later on my phone and it worked. I think there is a problem with iPad versions? Otherwise, its great :D

No one joining group
No one is joining so I uninstalled the app
Group call issues
The option to join a group call is still visible.,even after the call is ended. This is leading to start a new call every time. Only admins should be able to make a group call on the chat. Please fix this as soon as possible.

I've never come across such problem before. I'm unable to view the chats in your app when
I'm using Internet through mobile data, however same chats are visible if I connect my phone (iPhone 7+) with Wifi.

It is a really great application and has a lot of features that helps with group co ordination and communications and works fine on Wi Fi however it crashes hard on Mobile Data and does not function at all even though I do have a signal and the connection is strong and stable enough to watch Netflix. If it worked with Mobile Data as well then it would be a 5 star messaging app.

This app is so data hungry, a good 3G connection with sped north of 5-6 Mbps are seemingly slow for a simple chat on it. While I can stream HD videos without lag, this app keep selling me to "check my connection"
Works only slightly better when connected to wifi, Ben if my cellular is actually faster than the wifi network! So I don't know it's a coding issue or what, but dear developers, please fix this mess. Seemed to work fine when I had first downloaded, but became pathetic and more pathetic with each update.

Touch ID lock in iPhone 6 plus do not work after enabling it, I had to re-install as he was always leaving me at enter pin page, I guess this needs a tweak. If there is a option to save the band member phone would be great to have. Overall good effort.

以前の仕様のままで充分使いやすかったのに、今回のアプデで改悪されました。
ホーム画面のグループは小さくなって、何故か下半分に最新の投稿が表示されるようになっています。
しかもグループごとの投稿が見づらいだけでなく、カレンダーの表示が面倒くさくなっています。
このアプリの売りはグループごとにカレンダーがあって、そこに手軽に投稿できることだったのに、それを表示することが面倒になるとは最悪です。
開発者はどんなことを考えてこの仕様にしたのでしょうか？
せめて前の仕様に戻せる設定を追加してください。

細かな改悪が多い
機種によるのかもしれないけど、部屋名の辺りのボタンが端末の時刻や電波状況と重なっていてトーク一覧に戻ろうとしても<が押しづらい(反応しない)ことが多くて困ってます。最早設定する意味があるのか分からないホームの色の薄さと存在感の無さもなんとかしてほしい。

来月3日と5日に参加する予定があるのにホームの予定が近づいてます。のエリアに直近の3日予定はなく5日の予定が表示される。
正直使いずらい
部活動のグループとして、試合の録画の共有や練習試合など幅広く使用しておりますが、非常に読み込みが遅い。（ネット環境も容量も余裕がある状態で行っていても明らかに遅いです）
こちらを使用するくらいならLINEのグループチャットでの共有の方が断然便利ですし、使いやすさ的にも個人的にはLINEですね。
ただ、広告がほとんどないのがありがたいところかなと。
それ以外はほとんどなんの変化もないので、教師も参加するならこっちかなくらい。

Wi-Fi下でのiPad miniで使用が出来なくなった
20日の昼頃からタイトル通りにWi-Fi下でのiPad miniで使えなくなってしまいました。
問い合わせ中ですが返答は今の所ありません、即急に改善して欲しいです。
別端末のAndroidでは使えて、iPad miniのYouTubeやその他ゲームアプリは問題なく使えるのでiOSのbandが不具合を起こしているのではないでしょうか？
アプリの再インストール等こちらで出来る手はとりあえず尽くしましたが、何をどうしてもログイン画面等で「リクエストがタイムアウトしました」の表示が無限に出続けてログイン出来ません。
昨日の昼からなので、現状丸一日経っています。
本当に困っているので早く解決して欲しいです、お問い合わせの返信をとりあえず待っています。
LINEとの差別化
BANDグループの仲間を増やしたいけどなかなか苦戦中。食いつきそうなLINEとの違いって何かな？
相手の名前
自分が見える範囲で相手の名前が変更出来るの様にしていただきたいです。(相手の名前には影響なし)
投票機能でも自分が変更した名前で表示される仕様にしていただけると助かります。
通知がわけられない
通知オンにするとアプリ自体の広告？までApple Watchに届くのでオフにした。
「出席連絡だけ通知」があれば便利。
仕事中も煩わしくて、結局オフにしたまま使ってます。
主催者がこのアプリを使うので仕方なく参加していますが、LINEで充分です。
更なる改善に期待
イベントを管理するツールとしては、良いものだと思います。
これができないのか、、、、と思うところがあったので、更なる利便性アップを期待してあげさせて頂きます。
・bandのグループ？単位で、出欠の累計実績（予定ごとに表示）を網羅的に把握したいが機能がない。
各予定ごとに出欠の実績が入力でき、かつ、一覧されると良い。今は、皆勤賞などの表彰等のために、手作業でカウントせざるを得ない。
・未回答の予定をフィルター出来るようにして欲しい
アプデの度に改悪
通知は正常に鳴らない(5分後とかざらにある)。返信しようとしたらアプリが固まる。開き直してもまだ固まっていて、再度開く必要がある。写真がまともに表示されない。投稿後もしばらく読み込まない。何回も入り直しが必要。
いろいろな機能を増やすのはしなくていいので、まず細かい部分直してもらえませんか？
アルバムの順番を変更したい
使ってみて1ヶ月。なかなか直感的には使えません。トークの場所がわかりにくくて、初見さんに説明が必要です。

大幅なアップデートがあってから、ホーム画面下に並んでいる「予定」から入って「予定表で見る」絞り込みができず不便です。Viewing roomのトップから入り直して画面真ん中の「予定」からなら絞り込みできるので、毎回入り直しています。

毎日使っています。
とても便利で使いやすいアプリなので、アプリの改良化やサークルの掲示板の投稿順をいつでも気軽に変えられるようにして欲しいです。(2026/03/04現時点だと日付順で固定されており、順番を変えるためには再投稿するしかないので手間がかかります…)
また、他SNSのように、アイコンの後ろにヘッダー(背景)を設定できる機能やプロフィールを覗くと音楽が流れる機能が欲しいです。

ライブ配信の通知が全く鳴らず、ライブ配信があったことに気付かず全て見逃しました。

好きな位置に編集させてくれません、否応なしに画像の下に揃えてくるし、仕方なく画像トリミング先にして設定すると謎のズームがかかるし。
あれもダメこれもダメなら着せ替え作るかなにかしてほしい。

LIVE撮影の画質が悪い。4Kとまでは言わないが設定でHDまでは対応出来るようにして欲しい。後で見返すと画質が悪過ぎて落胆する。
通知の数がおかしい
1件しか来てないのに55件って表示されて不愉快です。
動画再生の際の向き、ピンチアウト
カレンダーの予定に紐づけて写真や動画を投稿して、その日の練習内容がわかりやすいように利用しています。
他の保護者の方からも好評ですが、「スマホで動画再生時に画面の方向がロックされたまま回転できないので、再生画面が小さくて見にくい。」
「再生画面が回転できない上にピンチアウトで拡大できないのでみたいところが小さすぎて見にくい」という声がたくさん上がっています。
もちろん一つ一つ動画をダウンロードすれば、スマホの既存の再生環境として向きの回転、ピンチアウト・ピンチインは当たり前ですができるのですが、それはBANDの機能ではないので不便です。
動画の再生の仕様、改善できませんでしょうか？

いつのまにか、再生時の動画の向きの回転、実装されてました。
ピンチアウト・インはできませんが、動画が見やすくなりました。ありがとうございます。
トーク履歴の保存期間について
いつもお世話になっております。
このアプリを使用させていただき、結構な年月が経ちました。本当にありがとうございます。
改善というより、完全にこちらの要望になってしまうのですが…
現在のトーク履歴の保存期間は最大3年となっています。そこをもっと長い期間或いは半永久的に残していただくことはできないでしょうか？
様々な方とやり取りをして、残しておきたい会話や思い出が多数あります。
アプリを使用させていただけていることだけでも感謝をしなくてはいけないことは重々承知ですが、トーク履歴についてどうしてもお聞きしたくレビューいたしました。
本当に、アプリ自体は大変使いやすく、アプリ内でご縁ができた方々もマナーがあり、やり取りをしていて楽しいです。

便利すぎます
100人ほどのスポーツチームで使わせてもらっています。
お知らせやスケジュールの共有、イベントの告知と参加者募集、アンケートや投票、ファイル添付やリンクを上手く使えば動画リンクページやグッズページのようにも使えます。
また設定でダイレクトメッセージのやり取りできる範囲を決められたり、小グループを作って特定メンバーのトークグループを作れたり。
アルバム機能も充実していてイベントごとに写真や動画の整理もできます。
またZOOMのようにオンライン会議などもできます。
もちろん、完璧ではないかもしれませんが、ここまで多機能に渡っているのは驚きで、使っていて本当に便利だなと感じます。
強いて言えば、お知らせ機能をもっと強くしたり、インターフェースをもっと見やすくしてくれたりしたら良いなと。
写真や動画は画質はさすがに少し落ちてしまいますが実質無制限とも言えるのもすごいです。
まだまだ機能を使いこなせてないかもしれませんが、伸び代もあると思うので今後もより良いアップデートを期待しています。

プライバシー面に懸念あり
結局は友達などと付き合うとかクラブ活動の為これちょっと懸念あるなと思っても妥協して人ってダウンロードして登録してしまいがち。
やむおえず、あるイベント参加のため登録したけど気持ち悪かった。
抜き取られる個人情報や筒抜けの交友関係 そしてそれが政府に注意喚起何度されてる隣の国に本社を持つLINEの会社だから
少しでも情報の流出が不安な方は登録時には電話番号や生年月日は非公開設定の方がいい。グループリーダーが主導権を握るサイトなので 仕切りたい人には管理がしやすいツールということなんだと思う。
サクサク隙間時間に スケジュール管理がラク！今を届けたい！
予定が把握しやすく、直前に変更があっても、すぐに連絡を受け取れるので助かっています。
また試合はライブ配信🏀なので、会場へ行けなくても、保護者はリアルタイムで応援が出来るのでうれしいです。子供達は試合後、振返りとして毎回欠かさず観ています。
さらに、チーム1人1人が頑張っている瞬間写真をアルバムに残せるので思い出が増えるばかりです。今後も遠征や合宿先での様子が楽しみです。

どんどん使い勝手が悪くなる害アップデートの数々。基本プロフィールというものがネック。いくつものアイコンを作れる意味とは？だったら、その機能がいらない。 昔のバンドが持つ秘匿性も考えた仕様があってほしい。人狼みたいなこと出来なくなりました。何故ならバレるからです。
部屋を作成しようが招待されようが相手のアイコンをタップすると基本プロフィールが表示されます。同一であることを確認できます。それならば複数のアイコンを作成する意味がない。LINEとの違う良さがなくなった。
他社様でもいいので、秘匿性にも長けたアプリ開発を願いたい。多分多くはそちらへ移行しますよ！
かなりお世話になっています！
子どものサッカーチームで、保護者同士の連絡やスケジュール共有のために使っています。掲示板機能で試合や練習の案内をしっかり確認できるし、カレンダーで予定が一目でわかるのが本当に便利です。
最近では試合のライブ配信もBANDで共有するようになり、現地に行けない保護者も応援できるようになりました。
このアプリを導入してから、保護者間の交流も自然と増えて、チームとしての一体感も出てきた気がします。LINEとは違って情報が整理されているのもありがたいポイントです。
サークル活動やチーム運営におすすめのアプリです！
合宿に活用
息子が参加した初めての夏合宿で活用しました。事前準備から日程や行程・持ち物の共有をし、当日の試合を交代で配信したり、現地に来られない保護者から配信中に応援コメントが届いたりなど、みんなで作り上げる合宿の一体感が高まりました。リアルタイムで配信を見られなかった保護者も、あとから試合を見ることができ、入ったコメントも見ることができたので、より楽しめました。アルバムに分けた写真で日ごとやチームごとの様子も確認できました。トーク機能で帰着の時間も予測できました。
欲を言えば、ライブ配信の開始・停止が分かりやすくなると嬉しいです。
サークル運営が激変！もうBANDなしじゃ無理です！
大学のサークルで使っていますが、連絡の行き違いや出欠確認の手間が一気に解消されました。
掲示板で大事な情報を一括共有できて、チャットは雑談もできるから距離も縮まります。
出欠確認・スケジュール・投票など、サークル活動に必要な機能が全部そろっていて本当に便利！
他の連絡アプリよりも整理しやすくて、「ちゃんと見た？」っていう無駄な確認も減りました（笑）

問い合わせの日本語が通じない
子供のサッカースクールのためにインストール。
子供の生年月日だと入れないグループがあり変更しようとしたところ
生年月日変更ができず、どうすればいいかを問い合わせているのに
4回問い合わせして4回ともアプリをダウンロードしてプロフィールから変更してくださいとの返信。
それでできないから問い合わせてるんですけど。
返信も遅く1ヶ月同じ問答の繰り返しで進捗がない。
その間グループのやり取りが全く見えない。早く使いたい。
会社の共有で使ってます
最近ダウンロードしたばかりでまだまだ使いこなせていませんが、それでも良いアプリだなと感じました！
口頭での連絡や期限のある予定をカレンダーで共有できる点、そしてスタッフ全員が1つのアルバムに作品を投稿し合える点がとても便利で、日々業務に役立っています。
今回は、ぜひ今後の改善の参考になればと思い、★4とさせていただきました。
今後追加していただきたい機能として、アルバム名での検索機能です。
仕事柄、お客様ごとにアルバム名を設定して1つのアルバムに数名が投稿するのですが、アルバム数が増えてくると日付検索だけでは目的のアルバムを見つけづらくなってきました。
この機能があるだけで、社内での共有がかなりスムーズに出来てとても便利性を感じますので、是非アルバム名検索機能をご検討いただけますと幸いです。

とても楽しく利用させて頂いています。自分に合ったBANDに入り、色々な方とも繋がれて便利なアプリだと思います。
しかし最近とてもバグが多く、返信したいメッセージを左スライドすると何故かリアクションが勝手に押されたり、メッセージを打つ箇所に表示されたり。アイコンが真っ赤、真っ黒、真っ白に表示されたりして、その方がアイコンを他のものに変えるまでずっとアイコンはその状態で、アプリを再起動してみても改善されませんでした。
また、メッセージを書いている途中に強制シャットダウンされ、またアプリを開くとメッセージが全て消えていました。とてもショックだったので初めてレビューを書きました。友人も最近バグが酷いと頭を悩ませています。改善していただけたら嬉しいです。
無料なのに、グループ運営が驚くほどスムーズになりました！

無料でここまで使えるのはかなりありがたいです。

不明なエラーが多発
先週木曜からWiFi環境だと繋がったり繋がらなくなったりを繰り返しており、遂に今日キャリア回線でも不明なエラーを多発し読み込まなくなりました。
Web版も試しましたが同様。アプリのアンインストから再インストールも試してますが変化なし。
いきなり戻ることもありますが基本的に下記2点が頻発し、通知が来ても中身が中々確認出来ません。
何が悪いか分からないので不具合なら早めに対応して頂きたいです。

・リクエストがタイムアウトしました
スケジュール管理がしやすい！
スポーツ少年団のチームで最初はLINEでやりとりしていましたが、BANDを使い始めてからは日にちごとに決まったことが残せるし、埋もれることもない、LIVE配信もできそのまま各自端末に保存もできアンケートも取れる！ TODOも使いたいけどまだ他の父母がそこはよくわかってないのでなかなか上手く使いこなせないけどもっともっと使い道があると思ってます！ その後、上の子の部活、選抜チームと全てBANDおすすめして導入してもらいました！無料で使えるのもありがたいです♪
子どものクラブ活動に最適
小学一年生の子供がサッカーをしたいとクラブに入ったらLINEバンドでスケジュールを管理してるからとインストール。誰が何をしているのか、どんな感じのスケジュールなのか、イベントを立ち上げたら参加なのか、不参加なのかが明確に分かるようになっており、とても便利だと思います。
もう少しUIを上げればいうことありませんが、今のままでも連絡網としては充分です。
クローズドなコミュニティでのやりとりにぴったりです
コミュニティ内のテーマ別活動のやり取りで良さが際立つ気がします。オープンなSNSでは、誰にみられているか不安が募ったり、機能が複雑すぎてうまく扱えなかったり、逆に機能不足で枠組みがぼんやりして、他の活動が見えづらかったり、タイムラインで話題が流れてしまってついていけなかったりすることもありますが、bandはそこをいい塩梅に回避できてると思います。
保存できないことがある
14日（祝）ミニバスでバンド配信していましたが、何故か2試合とも、4クォーター目の保存ができなかった。2試合別の方が撮影。 保存する際に、端末に保存と、掲示板に保存が選べるはずなのに、端末に保存しかできない、タップしても保存されない、結局退出するを選ぶ羽目になり、撮影された動画が消える…もう最悪でした。初めは1試合目の方の操作ミスかと思っていましたが、他も方も次の試合で同じことになり、明らかに、アプリがおかしいのでは？改善をもとめます。
アップデートしない方がいい
先日のアップデートをしたら以前より格段に見づらくなりました。具体的には以下が挙げられます。 ・予定がカレンダー表示ではなくリスト表示になってしまったこと ・トップ画面で下部に出るタブが「ホーム、フィード、新着、トーク、その他」から「ホーム、新着、予定、トーク」に変わった とにかく予定が見づらいです。 皆さんも言っていますが以前の表示に戻せる機能があるといいと思います。またアイコンを変えた意味はあったのでしょうか？

アップデートでの改悪点としてそれぞれのグループの予定を個々にカレンダー（予定表）で表示したくても、各々のグループを押して予定の欄に行って『予定表で見る』を押さないとカレンダーで見ることができなくなりました！アイコンの位置は変わってしまいましたが、上部にカレンダーアイコンがあったので1度目のアップデートではまだ良かったのですが、今回は何度もボタンを押さないとカレンダー（予定表）にたどり着けずただただ面倒になりした！それぞれのグループのページに行ったら1発で予定表を表示できるようにしてほしい！個人的には1番よく使うものです！全てのグループの予定が一同に記入されている予定表では見にくいのです！
どこに書けばいいものか分からずレビューに書かせて頂きました！カレンダー以外に関しては全くもって問題のない使いやすい良いアプリだと思っています。

BANDを初めて入れましたが、良い！
Xみたいに、無作為でおすすめ流されるタイムラインとかないのがいいですね。無駄に時間が溶かされない。
要望があるとしたら、自分のアイコンも表示して欲しいってことです。
色んなアイコンを使い分けるので、今自分がどのアイコンで、どの名前で話してるかを認識するのが慣れるまで結構難しいです。
設定でオンオフできたら大変嬉しいなと思っています。
BANDオススメです！
自分のオンラインスクールでBANDを活用してコミュニティ運営しています。BANDは細かな説明をしなくても直感的に操作ができるので、初心者でも簡単に操作できるのが素晴らしいメリットだと思います。
また、これまではzoomを使用して個別カウンセリングを行っていたのですが、BANDのビデオ通話機能を活用すればミーティング予約をしなくても、すぐにビデオ通話ができるので大変助かっています。
ビデオ配信機能もあるみたいなので、今後はこちらも活用していきたいです！
私のようにオンラインスクールやオンラインサロンを運営されている方にぜひBANDを勧めたいです！
アップデート後から
新着通知画面がかなり見づらくなりました。また、トークを更新しようとスワイプすると画面が上下に揺れて不快です。
また、これまでほとんどなかったのに強制的にアプリが落ちるようになりました。何度もです。書き込み途中の内容が消えてしまうこともあり困ります。
早急な改善をお願いいたします。

使いやすい
LINEのグループやオプチャ使ってましたが、グループ分けやファイルの共有、個々のやり取りが凄くやりやすい！掲示板で全体連絡、スケジュールも管理できるので、オンラインサロンとして使うのにも使い勝手が良いです！決済機能があるとよりやりやすいなぁと感じるところです
もう無くてはならない存在

予定作成、出欠確認、各予定での注意事項等をコメントや添付ファイルで通知、試合映像のライブ配信、メンバーの思い出アルバム、クラブTシャツの購入希望調査etc
上げたらキリが無いくらいのことがこのアプリ一つでできます。

いろんな機能がある
LINEビジネスの便利機能が大幅に有料化されたために、BANDに移行しました。仕事上小グループ、グループチャット、掲示板が最低限必要ですが、もっと機能があるので、これから使いこなしていきますね。少しぐらい広告あってもずっと無料でいてください。
スケジュール管理が楽
まだ使い始めて間もないく、完全には把握してませんが…グループチャットの活用のため登録しました。
ミーティングのスケジュール管理もAppleカレンダーに追加できるので忘れることもなく便利だなと思いました。ページも見やすいので今のところ問題なく使えてます。
便利だけどPC版が使いづらい
スマホで使用を始めて、いくつかのグループ管理に便利で使っています。
ですが、PC版の文字サイズが小さ過ぎて使いずらい。また、投稿を選択した後、テキストの選択・コピーができずつかいずらい。
全体的に好ましく使っているだけに、この点が残念です。改善希望です。

macBOOKで起動できない。
ほぼ完璧！
子供達のサッカーや家族の予定など全てこちらで管理させてもらっていて超重宝しております。
唯一、予定表を縦を時間にして表示できると完璧で、そこを開発チームにご検討いただきたく、敢えて星を一つ減らさせていただきました。
でもホント完璧なアプリです
動画のアップに時間がかかる
動画のアップに時間がかかります。登録できたと思ったら画面が固まって何もできなくなります。更新を押しても登録できない。Wi-Fiに接続した状態で1本ずつあげていってもなかなかあがりません。きってもあがらず。何度も繰り返しました。サクッといかないと手間がかかります。
アプリ間の移動
他の作業をしなければならず、BANDから移動して他のアプリで作業、そこからBANDに戻ると元居たところからリフレッシュされてホーム画面に戻る。 下書き中の文字も消えてしまい不便です。 他のアプリでコピーした文字を貼り付けに戻るとリセットされてるってイラつきます。 改善していただけないでしょうか？
Wi-Fiだけが繋がらない
朝まで問題なかったのですが、唐突にWi-Fiだと繋がらなくなってしまいました。
5Gだと大丈夫なのでWi-Fiに問題があるのかと思いましたが、他のアプリはサクサク問題なく動くのでBANDの方に何か問題があるのかな？と思っています。すぐ直れば良いのですが…。
サッカー少年団で
サッカー少年団でBAND利用しています！
元もと使っていたアプリがリニューアルして、機能が変わり不便になるため、BAND導入しました。動画で試合の振り返りができたり、連絡も取りやすく、試合の調整もスムーズです。以前より、少年団活動がやりやすくなりました！
どういう事？
他者の投稿に対してコメントを投稿しようとコメントボタンをタップすると、コメント記入欄が一瞬だけ出たあと消えて、文字入力はできるもののコメント記入欄が一切出てこないから誤字脱字やらの確認すら出来んし、改行は出来ても投稿が出来ず…どうなってんの？
この改悪だけはやめてほしい
長文表示を元に戻してください…途中で「全体を表示」なんて折りたたんで別画面に全文を載せるなんてものすごく見辛いです。会話文がわかりにくいことこの上ない。
愛用させていただいてますが、この仕様が戻らないのであればアンストするしかないです……
アプデ後から…
今回のアプデ後からか、BANDで入力中諸事情で少し放置し画面が暗くなったと思い電源をつけると再起動が入って打ち込んだものが全て消えてしまいます。
今までそんなこと無かった分、友人たちと検索したりしながらやり取りしてる最中、消えてしまったり…と少々使いにくくなったなと思い★2にさせて頂きました。
強制終了が止まらない
他の方も書かれていますが、
バージョン8.9にアップデートした途端、
トーク画面を開き文字を入力する
→途中調べ物等で別アプリを起動する
→しばらくしてBANDに戻ると強制終了してトップ画面に戻る
→入力中だった文字も全て消えている
という症状が毎回起こります。
文字が消えると困るので、別アプリで入力してコピペしようとしたらペースト出来ない。
本当に困るので早急な改善をお願いします。
通話1時間とは？
正直星1つもつけたくないです。
通話に時間制限を設けた意味は何ですか？とにかく不便です。
延長しないと1時間、延長しても2時間がMAX。控えめに言ってもこの仕様にした意味がわかりません。
ゲームサークルを運営しておりゲームをプレイする際に通話を利用しているのですが、ゲーム中に突然電話が切れるのでかなりフラストレーションが溜まります。
通話画面をいちいち見ていないから延長できないとかそういう次元ではなく、時間制限そのものを撤廃してください。
bandを主たるコミュニケーションツールとして利用しているユーザーもかなりの数いると推測されますので、この仕様のままでしたらそのユーザーをまとめて手放すことになるかと思います。
次のアップデートに期待しています。
グループの会話が1年しかもたない
会話をするのに大変便利です。しかし個人トークは3年もちますが、グループトークが1年しかもたず読み返してこういうことがあったなぁ、という思い返しができない状態になりました。
できれば年数など設けないで頂けるととても助かります。

長文のやりとりに不便
長文を表示するときに、いちいち「全体を見る」をタップして表示させないといけないのは、とても不便です。
こういった機能をつけたいならば、せめて選択できるようにして欲しい。アップデートして不便になりました。
不具合でトークが消えても対応なし
保存期間変更の不具合（アプリ側の問題）でトーク履歴が消えました。
公に不具合についての報告はなく、復旧報告もなし。
履歴の復旧は出来ないということでした。
納得出来ず問い合わせたものの、返事なし。2回問い合わせましたが返信はありません。
トークが消えました
つい先ほどアップデートをしてアプリを開いたら、数時間前にやり取りをしたトーク画面に、参加しているチャットルームはありません。と表示され見れなくなりました。保存期間である3年は経過しておりません。バグでしょうか？困り果ててます。

게시글 내용을 작성하면 일반적으로 순차작성이 되었으나 최근에 어떤 업데이트를 했는지 모르겠지만, 다음과 같은 오류가 있습니다.
*내용 작성 후 이미지이나 첨부파일을 등록 하면, 이미지 및 첨부 파일이 맨 상단에 역순으로 등록됨
그래서 현재
제목->내용->이미지->첨부파일 순으로 작성하려면 역순으로 첨부파일->이미지->제목 및 내용으로 작성해야 합니다. 수정 바랍니다. 밴드 블로그에 댓글로 남겼으나 효과가 없어 리뷰에 남김니다.

시각장애인 접근성 업뎃 요청
언제부턴가 업뎃 이후 음성접근으로는 글쓰기 탭을 읽어주지 않습니다. 그래서 밴드에 글을 쓰려면 매번 피시를 이용해야 되서 불편하네요. 다음 업뎃에는 다시 접근 가능하겠지.. 하는데 좀처럼 활성화될 기미가 없어 남깁니다.휴대폰으로도 다시 글을 써서 모임원들과 활발히 소통할 수 있도록 부탁드립니다.

앱을 무척 만족하면서 사용하고 있는 1인 입니다.
오래된 밴드 내에서 예전에 작성했던 좋은 글 혹은 사진이 많이 포함된 글 또는 댓글과 호응이 높았던 글들을 추억으로 소환해 회원들과 의미있게 공유할 수 있도록 밴드 내에서 과거 오늘의 글을 팝업 알림 형태로 노출시켜주는 기능이 있으면 참 좋을 것 같습니다.

공 들여서 글을 쓰고 업로드를 할 때 종종 업로드가 멈추고 글이 다 날아가버려요. 종종도 아닙니다. 10번 중에 4번은 날아가요. 처음부터 다시 쓸 생각에 진짜 스트레스가 이만저만이 아닙니다. 임시 저장 기능 혹은 업로드가 성공적으로 되도록 수정해주세요. 계속 같은 문제가 발생한다면 이 어플을 사용하기가 싫어져요.
그리고 이전 글 본문 복사 할 때 글자 색상이나 볼드도 함께 복사되게 해주세요.

밴드 자체는 정말 좋은데
제발 계정 수십 수백개 만들어서 가입신청하는 피싱 범죄자들좀 어떻게 해보세요. 아버지가 하시는 밴드에 여자사진 도용하고 사칭해서 가입신청 하는 사람이 얼마나 많은지 모릅니다. 심지어 같은이름이랑 사진으로 10개씩 와요 신청이. 아무리 신고하고 거절해도 또 같은 사진, 이름인 계정으로 10개씩 오고요. 근본적인 해결이 안됩니까? 번호인증 안하면 아예 못하게 하던지요... 너무 심각하네요. 아버지는 뭣도 모르고 신청 받았다가 매번 채팅창에 여자들 야한사진 도배당하고... 점잖으신 중년분들끼리 하는 밴드인데 매번 제가 다 신고하고 삭제하고... 저희 아버지 밴드만 그런게 아니라 인원수 좀 되는 모든 밴드에 거의 테러급으로 발생하는 일이던데 제발 해결좀 해주세요.
사용하기 불편해요
원하는 글 찾아서 들어가려면 여러번 눌러야 하고 복잡해요 이전 버전이 훨씬 나아요. 좀 더 단순했으면 좋겠어요. 아니면 관리자에게 최소한의 배치 기능이라도 허락해줬음 좋겠네요. 중요 공지사항은 왜 메인에 2개밖에 안 나타나는지도 모르겠고 왜 따로 눌러야 다른 공지들을 볼 수 있게 해놨는지 모르겠어요.

내가 써본 어플중에 제일 불쾌한 어플임
회사컴퓨터랑 핸드폰으로 밴드를 제일 많이 사용하는데, 다른데서 쓰지도 않았는데 이 미친놈의 어플은 사용이 적은곳에서 로그인했다고 인증을 처하라고 함. 근데 인증을 하면 거기서 끝나는게 아니고 반드시 비밀번호 변경을 해야함. 여기서 더 나아가서 이런게 한달에 한번이면 이해를 하겠는데 하루에 한번씩 이러니까 사람이 미칠지경임. 매번 인증을 시킬거면 비밀번호를 그때마다 쳐바꾸라고 하질말고 그냥 권고식으로 끝내던가, 아니면 인증같은거 하지말고 비밀번호만 주기적으로 강제로 바꾸게 하던가 하나만 해라 제발.

사진 이모티콘 광고 크기가 비정상적으로 커진 것도 의도적으로 업데이트 하신 건가요? 보통 카카오톡/사이트들의 댓글 첨부사진이나 이모티콘이 작은 건 다 이유가 있는 거 아닌가요 댓글창 크기와 미디어 비율이 맞지 않아 어색합니다...
그리고 댓글 전체가 로딩되지 않고 중간이 끊기는 건 확실한 오류같습니다
방송 딜레이가 너무 심합니다.
밴드에서 방송 하는 사람인데 핸드폰으로 방송을 시청하시는 분들과 방송 하는 저와의 싱크 차이가 너무 많이 납니다(대략 30초정도) 한분의 문제면 통신장비를 의심할텐데 다수의 사람들이 이 문제를 겪고 있습니다. 확인후 개선 부탁드립니다.
아이폰14.1과 충돌있어요
11프로맥스 쓰다가 14.1로 업뎃한 이후로 밴드 이용 도중 핸드폰 자체가 종료되는 경우가 잦았습니다 하루에 세 번씩은 꺼졌던 것 같아요.
일주일동안 패닉풀이 15개 이상 뜨고 강제로 종료되어서 정식센터에 수리 맡겼었습니다. 그런데 수리 맡기고서 받은 아이폰 8에서도 같은 증상이 나오더라구요 걔도 14.1이었고요 똑같이 밴드 이용도중에 폰이 꺼졌었네요
이후로 리퍼받은 폰 별 문제없이 잘 사용하고 있었는데 새벽에 14.1로 업뎃하니 같은 증상이 발생하네요 밴드 이용할 때만 그럽니다 무조건 꺼지는 건 아니고 어느 정도 사용하는 중에 뚝 꺼져요 빨리 해결 좀 부탁드릴게요

차단해도 밴드에들어가면 그사람이 쓴글이 차단 한 사람의 글이라고 뜨는데 그것도 아에안뜨게 업데이트 해주시면 감사하겠습니다

밴드 앱 정말 잘 쓰고 있습니다 여러모로 참 유용한 단체 커뮤니티 같아요 그치만.. 단점이 있다면 우선 안드로이드와 아이폰 두 사이에 기능이 차이나는게 있다는 걸까요... 안드로이드는 다크모드가 존재하는 반면 아이폰은 기본 테마밖에 없습니다 심지어 터치인으로 암호를 풀고 들어갈 때는 자주 암호 입력도 안 되는 오류가 생기고 홈화면 버튼이나 새글 보는 창이 안드로이드는 위에 있더군요... 그게 조금 불편합니다 업데이트 때 참고하셨으면 좋겠어요.. 감사합니다!
내가 한 표정 확인할 수 있게 해 주세요
게시글에 표정으로 표시한 것이 보이게 해 주세요. 공지가 올라오는데 읽은 글인지 표정 포시를 한 글인지 확인할 수가 없습니다. 50명이 넘는 사람이 표시한 걸 다 지나면서 일일히 확인해야 합니다. 그리고 다시 누르면 표시했던 표정 표현이 없어져서 다시 확인해야 하는 번거로움이 있습니다. 내 표정이 앞으로 와서 확인할 수 있게 해 주세요
이상한 것만 자꾸 업데이트 시키는 밴드가 짜증납니다
가입할 수 있는 밴드의 갯수를 늘리거나 프로필을 늘릴 수 있거나 그런 것들을 업그레이드 시켜야 하는 거 아닌가요? 왜 업그레이드를 할 때마다 다운그레이드가 되는 거고 아니 도대체 쓸모도 없는 남의 불타는 댓글 그런 걸 제가 왜 봐야 하나요? 굳이 알지도 못하는 사람의 댓글까지 제가 알람으로 봐야 합니까? 심지어 밴드 자체에서 보내는 거라 그 사람을 차단할 수도 없도 알람을 끌 수도 없고 진짜 미쳐버리겠네

미션인증빈도 직접설정하는게 나왔으면 좋겠어요
밴드는 단어스터디 시작하고나서 애용하는 앱중 하나인데요. 특히 미션인증 기능 정말 좋아요!
단, 아쉬운점은 미션인증 빈도가 매일/월금/주1~3회뿐인게 아쉽네요ㅠ 전 주5회도 있었으면.. 주 횟수도 직접 설정가능하길 바라봅니다:)

리더진의 관리가 소홀해지고 오랫동안 리더가 없는 밴드가 있어요... 덕분에 가입도 자유로워진터라 각종 사기나 성희롱 하는 사람들도 늘었습니다. 몇번을 신고하거나 해도 별다른 조치가 없어요 리더진을 교체하거나 성희롱 한 사람을 처벌조치 할 수 없을까요? 이 성희롱과 연속적인 도배로 인해 많은 분들이 피해보고 있습니다 제발 도와주세요 8ㅅ8

정말 좋은데.... 워치용도 나왔으면 좋겠습니다.
정말 회사업무용으로 너무 좋습니다... 그런데 현장에서 일하다 보니 실시간으로 일정이 올라오는데 매번 핸드폰으로 보기가 힘이 듭니다. 특히 겨울에는요.. 애플워치를 쓰고 있는데. 볼수있는 글자가 제한적이라 상당히 아쉽습니다. 워치용으로 개발되면 더욱 활용하기가 더 용이할것 같습니다.
왜 갈수록 퇴화하나요
원래는 새로고침을 하면 바로 댓글이 잘 뜨고, 멤버의 게시글에 들어가면 그 멤버가 쓴 게시글이 바로 보이고 했는데… 점점 업데이트가 진행되면 진행될수록 밴드에 불편함만을 느끼고 있는 것 같습니다. 새 글 알림은 꺼뒀는데도 왜 자꾸 뜨나요? 댓글은 왜 새로고침을 해도 바로 안 뜨나요? 전에는 잘만 됐던 기능이 지금은 먹통이 되니 미치겠습니다

이게 저만 그런건지는 모르겠는데
맥북에서 사용하니 인터넷 브라우저로 사용하는 것 보다는 편하지만 채팅 칠 때 메세지를 보내고 나면 마지막 글자가 한 번 더 쳐지는 오류가 있는 것 같아요.

첫화면은 가입밴드의 전체 신규 게시글들만 쭉쭉 보여져야 하는데 이번 업데이트 후 스크롤를 내리다보면 일정 게시글(20~30개) 이후엔 가입하지도 않은 추천 밴드? 글이랑 뉴스 기사거리가 나와서
전체 신규 게시글을 보려면 결국 가입된 밴드 하나하나 다 찾아 들어가서 봐야함

특정인이 내 글을 못보게 하는 기능을 만들어주시면 좋겠습니다.
제 글을 보여주고싶지 않은 사람이 있습니다. 자꾸 찾아내서 보고싶지 않거나 제 입장에서 불편한 댓글을 달고 그렇다고 매일 부계정 사용도 버겁습니다.
일방적으로 제가 그사람을 차단을 해도 그사람은 제 글을 볼수 있어서 그점이 너무너무아쉽습니다ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
특정인을 선택하면 그 사람들에게만 내 글과 댓글을 못보게 하는 기능 하루빨리 생겼으면 좋겠습니다.
정말 밴드 잘 사용하는 중이지만 저를 제외하고도 많은사람들,지인들이 이 기능을 기다리는중이라고 말합니다.

아쉬운 점
최근 모바일을 통해 글을 쓰는 도중 갑자기 화면이 멈춰버리는 현상이 종종 발생됩니다. 사용 중 정말 불편한 것은 길게 써놓은 글이 갑자기 사라져버린다는 겁니다. 화면이 멈추었다 다시 작동하는게 아니라 밴드가 강제 종료가 되어버립니다.
이런 불편한 점을 수정해주실 수 있을까요?

제가 밴드를 안 들어간지 2~3주 정도 된거 같아요.
근데 오랜만에 들어가려고 누르니 튕겨서 나가지네요 . 핸드폰 전원도 껐다켜보고 밴드도 지웠다 다시 깔았는데도 계속 그래요 . 이거 왜 이런지 알 수 있을까요 ? 지금도 들어가도 바로 튕깁니다.

대화방 실수로 삭제하는 게 걱정되니까 잠금 기능이 생기면 좋겠고
아이폰에서 폰트 사이즈 조절하는 기능이 없는데 꼭 필요하니까 생겼으면 좋겠습니다
갤럭시에는 있는데 아이폰에 없다니.. 아이폰이 더 설정이 단순해서 자잘한 건 앱 내 기능을 사용해야 편리한데 앱 내 기능도 아이폰처럼 너무 단순해서 불편할 때가 생겨요

5년 넘게 잘 쓰고 있는데.. 이번에 나온 기능 "참가신청서" 최고입니다.. 회원들 중 행사 신청을 댓글로만 받다가 신청서로 하니 명단 보기도 좋고 너무 편합니다.
한가지만 더 추가요청 드리자면 글자 편집시 기본색상만이라도 변경이 가능하다면 그야말로 최고의 밴드일듯 싶어요
일시적인 오류라면서 계속 접속이 안됩니다
확인할 것들이 많은데 들어갈수가 없어 미치겠네요. 네트워크 바꾸고 재부팅하고 봐도 특정 호스트 서버를 찾을수 없다고 뜨고, 앱 재설치하까지 다해봤는데 그저 일시적인 오류라고 뜹니다.

요즘 잘 사용하지 않는 pc를 통해 해킹되는 사례가 많습니다. 이상한 메시지들이 지인들에게 전달되면 얼굴이 화끈해 지기도 하는데 단순히 비밀번호 관리를 잘하라는 일차원적인 대응말고, 구글처럼 신규 장비에서의 로그인의 경우 2단계 보안 적용이 되도록 선택할 수 있도록 해 주시기 바랍니다. (폰으로 확인 문자 전송)
기간만료되서 사라진 비디오 복구 못하나요ㅠㅠ

업데이트 되고나서 사진첩 폴더가 다 안나와요. 스크롤 내리면 진행중 동그라미 모양만 계속 돌아가고 사진 폴더들이 노출이 안됩니다. 업무용으로 오래 사용해왔는데, 어제부터 안되서 일에 지장이 너무 커요. 빨리좀 고쳐주세요 올라간 사진들도 많은데…
아이폰 IOS에서 ‘일시적 오류로 완료처리할 수 없습니다‘ 오류 발생
아이폰, 아이패드에서 ‘일시적 오류로 완료처리 할 수 없다’며 재시도를 눌러도 계속 반복되어 로그인도 못하는 상황입니다. 학교 수업을 따라가기 위해서 밴드 가입이 필수적인데 빠른 시일내에 해결좀 부탁드립니다.

밴드 내에서 게시물칸 스크롤 하는데 자꾸 홈이나 일정 칸으로 넘어가고 다실 게시물 칸으로 돌아와보면 맨 위로 올라가져있어서 처음부터 다시 내려야돼요 근데 이걸 수도없이 반복………다른건 참을만한데 이건 진짜 못 참겠어요……..
밴드 업데이트
업데이트 된 건 부분적으로 깔끔하니 마음에 듭니다. 하지만, 갑자기 밴드 로그아웃 되거나 아이폰에서 이모티콘을 입력 하려고 할 때 대화 입력창이 사라지거나 하는 오류들이 많습니다. 업데이트 후보다는 전이 훨씬 나은 거 같습니다. 얼른 수정 해주셨으면 합니다.
남발된 광고는 독이됩니다.
광고가 알림칸, 밴드 홈 칸, 등 너무 많이 떠서 보기가 불편합니다. 불필요한 알림 숫자도 늘어나구요.
광고를 하는 곳을 한 칸으로 몰아서 하든지 그런 방법을 쓰는게 좋을 것 같네요

Perfect chat app for my clans
Perfect app that I for all of my clans. Bit hard to understand at the beginning but after days you will be a wizard at it. I organize when my members are on a holiday and can't donate. Attach video's or video's to learn to play With A certain deck.
Organize up to a 1000 members with privileges.

Birthday crash
Wanneer je de geboortedatum wilt invullen crasht de app meteen iOS6.1.2, dit is na herinstallatie ook niet verholpen, de opstart heeft duidelijk wat problemen… 1 ster voor het toch kunnen installeren en het versieren van mijn springboard ;-)
Worst update ever
Please roll back the last update.. this is the worst update ever... Like going back to the Middle Ages. Having to scroll to last years messages to find new chats or replies and internal errors that cause you to wait 30 seconds before a chat opens... and if you’re lucky it will show the new messages😒🙁😔

I am in bands and they don’t talk to each other. Instead of having to many group chats, I have the band app!!! The reason I put 4 stars, is it can all be very confusing for new members.i still love this app, but I really do think we could do better with more organized. Like, all of my bands notifications are in one place. It gets hard when I’m looking for one thing. So maybe if we made it so like, you click on one and only that band shows up? Idk, just putting it out there! Anyway, can say positive, you will like this for your band

The interface is confusing and it’s hard to know where the conversations are coming from. I have to use it for my daughter’s team but if I had a choice I would try and find a different app.

I was doing good on it until it started to just sign me out like every day when I was trying to use it. And the on top of that it just totally logged me out forever and now I can’t even click on it….. i haven’t been able to get onto it since. I’m just so disappointed.

Helpful but buggy
This app has been amazing for communication and calls! The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because oddly enough it won’t show other peoples texts in the feed, just mine. It makes communicating extremely difficult and unethical. 😔

The Newest Update
The newest update on band has recently been bugging myself and a lot of other friends of mine. Everything about the new update is fine, but the only issue is the auto-correct was terminated off the chat rooms. As well as the red dots under a word to indicate the word was spelled incorrectly. The deleting messages for everyone now is a good update (like, really really good) but, no one would really want to delete a whole message and then type it out again. Even with copy and paste, it’s an annoyance to look through the whole paragraph to find the misspelled words that were not underlined with red dots. It saves time for people to just type a quick message and it could be easily auto-corrected if one or two letters are spelled wrong. It is really a nuisance to type slowly if you’re a fast type to make sure you don’t make any word mistakes within your sentences or paragraphs. Even right now as I type this review, I’m using auto-correct which is correcting my words since I type fast and don't have the time to look over every word to find error. A good number of band users have the app on their phones, which is why auto-correct comes in handy along with the red doting under a misspelled word.
To end this, all I am recommending is that you would reconsider adding back auto-correct and the red dotings back into chat rooms.
Pretty awesome overall
I recently made the switch to Band from Team App for my teams and love quite a few features about it. It looks professional and is fairly easy to use (a little tricky for my parents who don’t understand phone apps though) and allows me to post videos of more than 1:00 to my teams so they can practice their choreography/routines. Inputting events into the calendar is quite simple and I am able to change the color of certain events so that they show whether it’s a class or an event. I LOVE how easy the albums are to create and add multiple photos vs team app where you could only add a couple at a time, as well as letting parents and students contribute their own.
My only tip and question for developers would be to let admins see parent/student emails that were used to sign up for the app. Some of my participants have not changed their name to display both their first and last names (despite my reminders), so those with duplicate names are difficult for me to differentiate. Would it be possible to add something like this?
Beware Band Will Delete Your Group!
I just wanted to let anyone that downloads this app to create a social group that Band can and will delete your group at anytime without a reason, which is what they did with ours groups!!! They will freeze your account for 7 days so you don’t know what’s going on and they delete your band group without a reason! All your members that try to access the group will see a message saying you are restricted by admin which is you and shows a icon asking members to leave the group and you will lose all your member contacts as you can only talk to members in groups that you belong to.
Our band group consisted two local airsoft community groups called “Norcal Airsoft Classifieds” & “Norcal Airsofters” we had accumulated 1000 members between the two groups all from Northern California which took a lot of time to build up the group. We used it to communicate about future games, chat, trade/sell gear, and to help grow the airsoft community. We heavily moderated both groups to make sure everyone one was treated with respect. We have been using this app for a few years without any trouble and then all of a sudden our groups are gone. This greatly saddens me that the group me a my fellow airsoft player spent 1000’s of hours putting together is all gone. Band should be ashamed at the way they treat their users. They have greatly damaged our airsoft community.

Missing key feature
Mostly this app is ok, we are in several groups that use it. But it is missing one key feature that really makes it completely dysfunctional for actually keeping the people in the group informed in a timely manner. The app needs to have the ability to display either the number of unread posts/notifications or at least some generic symbol that indicates there are unread posts, and show it on the home screen without having to open the app to check. I never see the pop up notification/banner, because they get lost behind other more important calendar notifications, so then I never know that I’m missing posts from the group organizer. I will randomly open the app a week later and realize that I’ve missed a lot of important stuff! The organizers use these apps because they think their info gets lost in email inboxes, but unfortunately it gets just as lost in Band because of the inadequate notification functionality. Developers, please add a way for the App’s Home Screen button to display a little indicator showing that there are unread message so that I can easily tell when I’m glancing at my phone, like how the text message app or email app show you how many unread messages you have. This app is mostly worthless without that functionality.

Hi there! So I haven’t used the app yet, but my sisters have. They say it’s great and they love it, and they like using it for the friend groups since some of their friends have different type phones. Now I wanted it for the same reason, so I got the app and tried setting it up, I put in my birthday and once I did everything it said get the kids band! Even tho I’m 12, and there’s no way to say no thanks. All I wanted was to be able to use this app with my friends

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE band! I set my account up today and have literally not stopped using it! I love the calendar feature especially, it’s really nice, and I especially love how you can see when people are online. One suggestion would be that you should make it on the chat so that there’s typing bubbles, it kinda bugs me that I can’t see when people are typing. But that would be it. This is probably my favorite app and deserves way more than 5 stars, although still, I don’t like the whole kids band thing, it’s nice that you made that for people but I wish you could get normal band even if your under 13. Just a simple no thanks option would be great.
Life Saver
I can honestly say the BAND App has been a game changer for me and my business. As the owner of Rainbow Bright CircleTime, communication with families is such a huge part of what I do, and BAND has made it so much easier to stay connected.
Before BAND, I felt like I was constantly sending emails, text messages, reminders, updates, and trying to keep social media posts organized all at the same time. Now, I can post everything in one place and my families stay informed and connected without the overwhelm.
It has truly helped build a stronger sense of community for our Rainbow Bright families. Parents can quickly see updates, reminders, pictures, events, and announcements all in one app instead of searching through texts and emails.
The ONLY thing I wish BAND would add is direct social media integration. I would love the ability to make one post inside the BAND App and have it automatically share to my social media pages too. That would make it absolutely perfect for small business owners and community groups like mine.
Overall, BAND has saved me so much time, improved communication, and helped me feel more organized while keeping our families connected. Definitely one of the best tools I’ve added to my business.
App Fine, Notifications Annoying!
The app works fine if your band director knows how to use it and takes advantage of all the features, plus takes the time to set everyone up correctly. But the notices to refer a friend, new features… they are only relevant for the band director. What is the point of annoying students and parents with them? I’m a parent. I don’t need stickers to communicate with my kids director. I definitely don’t need to be notified there are new ones. It’s so much advertising that is just annoying, since it doesn’t apply to me. You can’t turn off push notifications about these, but it’s still everywhere in the app. And you can’t customize your notifications enough. If you want to be notified about posts, you have to get every comment as well. So if your band director has birthdays turned on, you’ll not only get a notification for every person’s birthday, but also for every person who replies happy birthday to it. I got 78 notifications in one day, then the band director turned off the birthdays completely. I liked knowing when it was a kids birthday, I do not want every comment.
Anything video related is AWFUL
This app is great, my job uses it for all of our communication including our staff meetings. One big problem that I would like the developers to really pay attention and fix is anything that deal with videos. Video uploads take forever and the buffering for videos even longer! Video calls have delayed glitchy sound and terrible quality. No matter what internet connection you are on or how great your service is. This is now 2022 with matured technology, not 1990’s and early 2000’s when this was all brand new. I believe this could be easily fixed if the developers just gave it some attention. We all love this platform and it holds great value for many communities of people and workers. Everything is all in one place and makes communication between a mass of people very easy, until it comes to anything video related, which is important these days. I hope the developers see this and fix it eventually. Thank you for all you do.

After having reviewed multiple communication tools within our growing missionary-run camp and retreat ministry, we have finally found one that meets most if not all of our needs! The main post feed vs chat gives our staff an opportunity for much needed separation of important and official information and updates vs thoughts and side conversation. Keep it up BAND! Thanks for your attention to your users!
My only complaint is that (potentially due to slow internet in our area) many of our team will often get notifications on one or more device that take 10-15 seconds to load upon opening the app, or multiple menus to scroll through to clear the notification count. I know for me, I enjoy the personalization of the notification system, but when attempting to check/clear my notification counter, it is frustrating when I have to scroll through multiple menus to find where the "culprit" lies. Especially when clicking on a chat then takes 10-15 seconds to actually load. In an ideal world, updates might be pre-loaded before a notification counter is added to the app? And maybe some type of universal notification drop-down/menu like the one used in iOS could be implemented that would allow for an easy check at a glance?
Finally, once the process of checking/clearing notifications is finished on one device, when I pick up my second device, more often than not, I found myself right back where I started, having to go through the same process again.

Great tool, but lacking
Band is very useful for our school’s day to day management between students, staff, and parents. There are many great things, some good, but definitely some bothersome things. It would be helpful to improve the out of date structure to more user friendly features like “mark as unread” or just more consistent reliability without delays and crashing issues. There have been many moments where things are lost because of the system or can’t be accessed. Mostly with voice memos. Sometimes messages are hard to find. Although I do appreciate the search option. It can be hard to find past conversations, whether on private/group chat, posts, and which Band that information is on. Something to help with that would be extremely
helpful and gives more confidence to the users. But over all, I’m so thankful for Band and for all of the good it does do. It helps make my
job as a teacher way easier.
Some tweaks
Overall I like using Band. I am the classroom mom for my sons class and we use this for everything classroom communication.
Things I would like changed.
A feature that allows copy and paste or duplicating of a calendar event. We use the calendar for parent volunteer sign ups. Creating the event as a repeating event causes so many issues, the biggest complaint is that when a parent goes to add that day’s volunteering event to their phone’s calendar it creates events for every single day that event is schedule. This causes me to have to manually create an event for every single day. It’s time consuming. If I could duplicate an events details to another day or copy an event to be pasted to be pasted to another day that would be nice. Another issue noticed with “repeating” events was that when you tapped on a day to RSVP for that specific day in the overall calendar view it only shows the first day of the event. It’s very confusing so for now I guess creating events one by one is our fix with hope that there is an update to make it easier.
Also, when posting to the feed it would be great if the post in the main feed would reflect the editing to text as the post was created, example. I can Bold or Underline and or Change text color (not limited to only these functions) and also format my post with paragraph formatting but when the post goes to the main feed it looses all of its formating making it hard to read on the main thread as a result the only way to make it easy to read and see the formatting done is to tap and open the post.
Great app/Falls slightly short
I love ALMOST everything about this app. It does have some setting that get close to what I need but not all the way there yet. I like that you can select who can comment or post. But I WISH there was a way for me to select who can view or receive comment. Like most Group Texts. The most aggravating part is the constant replies. Some people leave groups for that very reason. I would LOVE this app if there were a way for me to select that anyone could comment... but i would be the only one to get the comments. Not everyone needs to get notifications when members ask ridiculous questions or reply and unheard of hours. I would like to sensor that as a leader, but still have a way for the team to reply to me. BONUS, of this app could also have a time restriction setting for notifications allowing some of us to sleep.
DOUBLE BONUS... Allow team members to receive messages and reply... even if they don’t have the app.
Made My Position Easier; really good, but could be great.
Nice to have a one stop communication platform for our group that doesn't get drowned out in notices from mixing it with social media.
Love the event rsvp, private chat, ability to post important notices, see who has read a post and who hasn't. The Todo list is really nice. The poll would be better if we could ask more than one question so we didn't have to create so many polls. Something more like survey monkey.
My google sheets do not upload like they should but it could be my phone needs to be updated??? But I post links and those work for now.
I wish you could create groups to tag, or at the bare minimum be able to tag entire group.
I would also like to be able to see who has read the chat and be able to edit a chat post. Or if it's possible to do so, easier to find on tips.

....but I wish I could pin posts to top of page that are not necessarily a notice but a lot of comments are being generated from.
Its disappointing the rsvp does not have a place to indicate how many will attend. Since our group is made up of families it would be nice to rsvp with the total coming instead of simply being able to say the family will be there.
I feel it's similar to Facebook but cleaner.

I only have one group I'm a part of. If I had to look at my feed all the time I don't appreciate adds.

I can not stand this app
I have used many apps to connect with teams and organizations. This app by FAR is the most annoying and confusing app I have. First of all, I constantly am checking the app because it appears I have a notification. 90% of the time it is an offer from the “sticker” shop or a notification from the “band” guide. I am 43, I don’t need stickers to talk to my daughters coach. My time is to valuable to constantly have to check because this app is advertising. I told the coach to do emails because I refuse to respond on this app anymore. I have every setting possible set to not receive notification except for the one “band” group I am on.
On top of it the threads are super confusing. You don’t have the option to delete an old thread off you messages unless I am guessing the administrator of the band or if your the person who started the thread. The threads all look alike. It’s infuriating. Had enough. Told her to get S.I. Or huddle. At least the info huddle offers is useful, not unicorn stickers. I gave it one star only because it actually works and you can receive messages. Other than that, trash.

I recently switched my sons sports teams to Band from Team Snap and although I do love so many more feature in Band there are a few major lacking features. These features wil be for any sport I’m sure, but since I just added our baseball team I’ll use baseball as an example.
1. The need to be able to enter and save a location while also naming it is a must for calendar entry. It was so annoying having to enter the field address for every game instead of just selecting from a list of saved fields. Further there needs to be the option to name the address to easily select the correct field location from the saved list.
2. There needs to be a field for opponent and playing field # on the calendar entry side. A lot of these sports complexes have multiple fields/courts.
3. An arrival time would be great because our coach likes the players there 45 minutes before the game, but we don’t want to alter the game time.
4. Final outcome for the game entered in the calendar to track our record would be great.
I know these options aren’t for everyone that utilizes Band, but are necessary for sports teams in my opinion. Maybe they could become original fields that different organizations could select which appear in their band so you could add scholastic titles, corporate titles, etc.
Most important features are spread throughout the app
I’ve been using the app for a couple months now. The app has great potential but it’s the little things that create the most problems for my parents for usability. For instance you basically have to back all the way out of your team board in order to see the calendar from iOS devices. So the parents of my team are always calling, texting, and messaging within the app in order to figure out when/where a practice or game is. Why in the world would you not have the calendar, posts, and messaging in the lower navigator of every screen your in when using band. In today’s age, apps shouldn’t require me having training sessions with parents who aren’t old to figure out how to use an app. They’re almost always simple enough that anyone can use them. I hope you fix this soon before I find another tool for parents. I of course don’t want to go though that learning curve again so please hurry.
So hard to use, even for the simple things
Of all the group chat apps I’ve been forced to use because of my kids’ activities, Band is by far the one I dislike the most. It is hard to make a comment. Text is very small and hard to read. There is no way to edit a comment once it has been made. You have to set up a new profile for every group you use. It isn’t always clear to me where my comment will end up (as a comment on the OP or as a reply to someone else’s comment (probably because the text is so small on the mobile app). Because there are so many messages from Band promoting Band, I sometimes miss messages that I should have seen first. There is no prioritization of group messages vs Band spam, so it is easy to simply dismiss notices as unimportant. Ugh!
I know this is a disjointed list of gripes, but honestly, I feel anxious and frustrated every time I have to open this app. I avoid using it as much as I am able, honestly. I wish I’d never heard of it, and can’t understand why my daughter’s gym thought this app would be a good idea. I hope they stop using it soon. It’s awful.
Great app for a community band
I give the app 5 stars because it works so well for our group of volunteer musicians.
Pros:
It links with our google calendar saving me time. It has a variety of tools to fit most situations, And overall it is the best solution for our group’s needs that I can find. And I looked for a vey long time.
Cons:
I consistently get 2 complaints from the musicians. One is that the email notification does not send the entire mess and they need to click a link. The other is that the app defaults to too many notifications, so they turn them all of instead of the ones they don’t want, then complain they don’t get important info 🙇🏼♀️. I would like to see the admins and moderators see the default notifications the app has now, but the group subscribers just get the basics. I think that would get them to use it more often.
As the admin, I’m having a tech issue and can’t find help. The tech button brings me to a Korean language that I can not change. My problem is with the link to the Google calendar. We canceled several rehearsals and events due to the COVID. the app updated the calendar but is still popping up notifications. Since the event no longer exists I can’t seem to turn it off.
Great app but room for improvement
This is an edit from the previous review, which was very professionally resolved by the Band team. It entails suggestions for improving the app’s capabilities.
I’ve really enjoyed using this app for my online clan; we can set up events and communicate effectively and clearly.
But there are a few things that my team and I would appreciate more than anything.
1. The ability to create notes like in the Line application - Posts which you could access from the chat room directly. An example would be a list of rules easily accessible to anyone. It’d be like the shared photos function. By clicking the 3 bars on the top right of the chat room, you could access a in-app document that’s been created or post that’s been highlighted by an admin. (Also, the ability to edit said document)
2. The ability to edit a message you’ve sent in a group chat room. Sometimes we post events or trainings and then we pin them to the top of the screen. Then the time of that event changes but we have to post an entire new message because we can’t edit the wording of that text.
3. Some more emojis to add as “shouts” such as an OK emoji, or a thumbs down emoji.
Thanks for creating such a great app, we’d be euphoric if you could actually implement these suggestions for us.
Awesome App!
I use the hell out of this app EVERY day! As an active duty service member, it is hard to keep leaders up to date in an ever changing environment. With band I am able to keep communications up, pass events, and well as changes to those events. What’s even better is the ability to add or drop members of the band. As people come and go (as they do in the service) I can get their replacements in and they now have access to all of the content of their predecessor. Ive been using it for about 2 years and it’s been an amazing tool. So much so, it has been catching on in other areas of the units I’m in and every seems to be into it. Great job to the developers. Please let me know if you guys want some new insights. I am telling you, I’m sure I could find ways to continue to improve you amazing app.

I just wanted to let anyone that downloads this app to create a social group that Band can and will delete your group at anytime without a reason, which is what they did with ours groups!!! They will freeze your account for 7 days so you don’t know what’s going on and they delete your band group without a reason! All your members that try to access the group will see a message saying you are restricted by admin which is you and shows a icon asking members to leave the group and you will lose all your member contacts as you can only talk to members in groups that you belong to.
Our band group consisted two local airsoft community groups called “Norcal Airsoft Classifieds” & “Norcal Airsofters” we had accumulated 1000 members between the two groups all from Northern California which took a lot of time to build up the group. We used it to communicate about future games, chat, trade/sell gear, and to help grow the airsoft community. We heavily moderated both groups to make sure everyone one was treated with respect. We have been using this app for a few years without any trouble and then all of a sudden our groups are gone. This greatly saddens me that the group me a my fellow airsoft player spent 1000’s of hours putting together is all gone. Band should be ashamed at the way they treat their users. They have greatly damaged our airsoft community.

band is such an amazing app, especially since my theatre uses it for choreography videos and schedules. who ever knew you could just click a screen and you’re next two weeks are planned? overall, great. one tiny unfortunate thing keeps happening to me though. i have a hotspot, but everytime i’m in the car trying to watch one of the videos they posted, it won’t load. i don’t know if it is the internet or just my phone, but it NEVER loads. 💀i just WISH this would stop happening. if ur still reading this, just make sure NOT to watch videos from band whilst in the car. overall, i VERY great app, but the videos could be fixed (also pls tell me if it is a bug or?).
Frequent crashes; many poor UI choices
Update and response to developer comments: the app continues to crash with almost every use on MacOS, particularly when typing in a chat (very frustrating to lose work and have to force quit, restart, navigate back to the thread, and retype).
Video performance on the mobile version is now better, though the app should handle buffering and especially the UI around it better.
Finally, the app is now sending out marketing notifications with no apparent way to turn them off other than turning off all notifications from the app on iPhone or watch. Also, the “new messages” counter in the app includes those marketing messages so it’s never clear when there is a new group notification versus the marketing ones. There is some control over the group notifications; please allow us to exclude your marketing ones when outside of your app as well.
While I appreciate having a free (for now) resource for exchanging info with a group I’m in, this app is seriously dysfunctional and frustrating.

Video playback is especially broken—videos in this latest version buffer endlessly and may play for a moment, or just not play at all. Navigation is a bit jumbled, and it appears impossible sometimes to do something as simple as leave a “like” on a post (clicking the emoticon icon does not always work). The developers seem to be looking toward a subscription model; I understand the need for revenues but this app needs serious work and improvement before it would be worth spending money on it. If I were in charge of our group’s choice of app for communicating and sharing recordings, I’d be recommending something else.
Awful App!
This is like a giant run-on sentence. It’s really difficult to find specific posts in the past. Especially if you have people who post frequently. There are no categories to look things up through or narrow your search. Yes, you can search but if the same person posts a great deal and you can’t remember what it was about or titled, good luck finding it. Most of the items are impossible to download or print. If you are a paper person, this is not the app for you! This is another example of data collection for the sake of data collection under the guise of being helpful. I can’t overstate how frustrating and counterproductive this app really is.
The developer reached out and suggested the posts use hashtags. That’s great if you aren’t old and have no idea how to use them. I remember when # meant pound. They also suggested giving posting privileges to Admin and co-Admin. I’m not sure how that helps anyone. If we can post already how does this help?
Terrible UI
You get a notification, you open the app and see that same, one notification, in 3 different places and sub menus. I have to open the message 3 different ways just to clear it. And it doesn't help that the things that I don't care about mask themselves as notifications as well, such as new stickers and news. You start with one notification and immediately become overwhelmed when you open the app when you see red, unread, dots in 3 different places. The problem only gets worse when you're having multiple conversations at once. The conversation layout is unintuitive and confusing.
Even after disabling everything, I still get notifications for stickers and news. I have never met anyone that uses the app because they like it. It’s always due to a work requirement. How sad when your business model predicates on people being forced to use you service. Not a sustainable business model in the long run.
Great app! Except...
So I love this app. I use it for work in the daily with keeping communication between everyone available. New sale? Post to band. Tagging mistake? Post to band. Random pile of clothes? Post to band. I LOVE IT! However, the only issue I have is a recent development and that is the live streaming option in the app has been crashing at random times in the live stream, and when it crashes it deletes the entire video! However, it gets counted as one of your 5 live streams. Please fix this, the live streaming option is what I use for our weekly meetings so we can do it in the comfort of our home, and the desktop option is too confusing since all the streaming services y’all recommended don’t stream to BAND. Please fix ASAP! Also, try to make a way to live stream on the desktop without a third party streaming service.
Not a fan - confusing and annoying
Disclaimer: I’m not a significant social media user, so please take my comments accordingly.
I don’t usually post negative reviews, I try to be positive on most things and realize I’m not the targeted user. This review is intended for the group leader that is considering the app - know your group and its needs. Make sure you’re not going to alienate your group by using this complex and rather annoying group communication app.
This app has too many confusing interfaces and methods of conveying information. I am forced to use this app because the group I’m involved with uses it, against my recommendation. I am involved with three of other groups that use a competitor app that I won’t name but is far superior. Again, I’m not a major or savvy social media user, and maybe that’s the problem. For the sophisticated user, this app may be nice. It isn’t for those that just need basic calendaring and group texting/communication.
The app pushes entirely too many adverts for itself and tips on how to use it. I note that if your app has to send that many reminders or tips or training, maybe you’re doing it wrong.
I loathe anytime I get a notice from Band because it means I have to try and figure out what and where the possible important information is for my group. Half the time it’s from Band and I can’t shut their stuff off. I can’t even fathom having to use it for more than one group. Cynically, I would just get a dumb phone and use that as my excuse to not use the app.
I wish the Band developers and owners luck, I do hope you succeed despite my criticisms.
Not very user friendly
This app has potential but it’s not there yet. The layout is really set up for someone who plans on creating groups. Should be more designed for participants of groups.
Example - if you are in multiple groups and want to see a combined calendar, you have to click “more”, then click “my page”, then “upcoming events”. There should be a combined calendar icon from the home page. Instead their are 9 icons to create a new page. Creating new pages should be in the “more” section.
Also don’t accidentally log into one group with your Facebook login and another group with your email address. You can’t merge the profiles. I deleted one but had to get the help section to allow my phone number to be used on the remaining log in. They helped but with a snarky comment “FYI, If the same case happens again, please understand that we won't be able to help you. So, please be careful when signing up BAND.”
Walking Dumpster Fire
First, basic problem, no dark theme. It's 20XX Google has done the research of how much battery it saves and numerous other places have shown for many more years how much easier it is on the eyes at night. That's one star off.
Two, lacks basic responsiveness. It is 1 to 1.5 seconds to update the pages from previous run to current. So let's say I reopen the app and was in a chat or on a chats page that's one and a half seconds to even see it update to current to show what I already see via notifications. I have three chats. This is abysmal compared to similar apps. I'm running an xs max, this is simply unacceptably slow. I'm taking two stars off for this.
Three, no app exists in a vacuum. The desktop app is even worse for windows and the website isn't much better. Im taking a star off for this as a platform.
Four, in violation of the email address specifications, they don't allow plus signs in account email addresses on any platform. This is especially annoying as it prevents usage of Google's routing protocol using the plus sign or any legitimate email address with a plus sign. I'm taking another star off for this because it's a personal crusade of mine and it deeply vexes me as a developer and as a consumer.
Fifth, although that all would be a zero star, I'm actually giving them a star back. Why? Because their notification control granularity is actually impressive. Specifically, it allows pretty fine grained internal control for each chat over banner and badge notifications independently and for what you get notifications from.
Notification bubbles
The app itself is great, you can easily join a community and make posts, even let others know if you’re going to be there or not. However, the developers of the app seem to think that not having an account linked with your band account is worth a recurring red one in a circle. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just quite annoying. Developers, let me put it this way for you:
Imagine that you had a coffee shop you went to on a semi regular basis when you were hanging out with a group of friends, but only then! Now imagine that same coffee shop is nearby to the one that you go to on a regular basis, and every day they put up a sign that says “today’s deal:____” however when you go in to see what the deal is, the shop owners are asking you to fill out about 3 forms before you’re even considered to be on the receiving end of the deals. Wouldn’t you want to stop going to that coffee shop, even if it meant not hanging out with that group of friends?
Yeah, well your app is about 10,000x more annoying than that coffee shop with your stupid “link Facebook or google, otherwise we are going to put up a new red bubble every 1-3 hours.” And I’m honestly considering deleting it just because of that one annoying thing.
Otherwise it’s an alright app.
Good app for our youth group
Our church youth group leaders recently switched to this app for organizing all of our program activities/events. I am getting used to it and we seem to like it so far. We were using viber (just a messaging app) previously. This app has been useful in different ways, having a chat, a calendar, and specific events in the app. My one request, however, is for the Events calendar section. Below the calendar, there is a chronological list of events in the current month. It is currently the 29th of October, however it still starts with the events from the beginning of the month. I wish it would skip down to the next available event so I wouldn’t have to scroll past the whole months worth of programs. Thanks for a great app!
Be careful with the test feature!!
I’ve been using it for Book Club 4+ years and then Warriors group for 3 years.
I have enjoyed the app, use the bookmark for yourself and hope your admin knows how to use the features to keep important info at the top or as a pdf or document in the files.
However- do not trust the test to save your answers. I haven’t figured out yet what triggers the bug. Even though you can select save for your answers so that you can come back and submit the test later it doesn’t always work. It seems to happen more frequently on the app instead of through a web page login.
It can be extremely frustrating to complete paragraphs for test answers and find them gone when you know you selected save.
Fix Please
I keep trying to get ahold of Band in regards to a bug in their system but they won't give me a direct answer or even explain why they do this.
It's extremely annoying that band puts a limit on and deadlines and dates for things on the app I can only plan my deadlines for a couple of months ahead (Currently, mid October is the latest I can set one). I can't keep coming back to band EVERY week to add in another sign up deadline whenever the deadline becomes available on the software, I have way too much paperwork to do in my job and it's such a simple thing to fix on the developers end. It makes no sense at all why I can set an event or a poll or a sign up for 10 years in the future, but for some reason I can't set my sign up deadline for whenever I need it as well.
Come on guys, this is such a simple fix on your end but it's INCREDIBLY frustrating as I try to plan out the school year for a group of students if I have a limit on when I can set the deadline for something.
Major bug issue
I want to leave a good review for this app but I have had a major problem with it. Since last year I have been unable to view videos posted to the band in the app. I am a college athlete and watching these videos are the ways my teammates and I get better at skills. When I watch a video in the app it will say operation stopped and then not play. I have tried looking through all the settings on the app to fix this problem but nothing has worked. I have also emailed the help email multiple times seeking help for this problem but haven’t received a response. There also is no help number that I can call to receive help. This app is great in all other areas but this problem has caused me a lot of trouble. I would be so grateful to the band app if they would help me fix this problem and would change my 2 star review to a 5 star review.

I have had the Band app for a couple of years now. Initially I started using it for my fitness classes to keep my students up to date with last minute cancellations. In 2020 when we were unable to have classes in person I was able to easily livestream classes, and continued for about 6 months even after we got back to the in-person classes for those who were not comfortable coming back right away. We still use the app for class schedules and announcements and it is our primary app for this purpose.
I enjoy the different groups and the newsfeed and have recently made a Band group for my family since I am not on any other social media.
My personal experience on band
While using the band app almost 90% of the time it worked. Now like every app it has its little things here & there but mainly it has worked amazingly. My only complaints have been sometimes when someone sends you a chat the message will send you a notification but it won’t always show up; but with me it always eventually shows up. I use this for many things such as friend communication ways,sports,clubs,& etc. and it works great for all these things & especially for sports teams, because it allows the athlete & parent/guardian of that athlete to have contact without sharing numbers & also having your coaches. It also allows you to create group chats privately or publicly which I like.
App does not give notifications
I have been using this app for three years for my daughter’s sports teams. The notifications either happen right away when someone has posted, or I don’t receive a notification for two days and miss an important announcement. Or, you get a notification and the app is so slow or hasn’t refreshed that it will not show you the updated notification. If someone sends a chat, or a response to a post, it takes forever for the app to update and show the response. I keep the updates current. But, this is something that needs to be fixed. Years. It’s been years of this and I keep hoping it will be fixed, but it hasn’t been. Please, please, if we are forced to use the app for a sports team, it’s important for it to be efficient, updated, and follows through on it being an important communication tool.
I LOVE BAND
I love band because it gives me a sense of belonging and community. When I walk into the band room, I’m surrounded by people who share the same passion for music that I do. We all come from different backgrounds, but when we play together, we become one sound, one heartbeat. The teamwork and camaraderie that come from practicing and performing together make me feel like I’m part of something bigger than myself. It’s more than just a class — it’s a family.

Whether it’s the thrill of nailing a difficult passage, the beauty of blending tones with others, or the rush of applause after a concert, music gives me an energy I can’t find anywhere else. I want to like it...
My school’s drumline and I have used this app for about a year now, but lately, nobody has been on. There’s a bunch of problems with the app, but i’ll start with some positives.
First off, I loved the calendar. This is something I had trouble using in other group chat apps (mostly because it’s non-existant in most apps). When I asked who still even used it, most of the members said “I only look at the calendar anymore.” Another positive how when you post, it’s like a dashboard. It’s great because people can see what’s important.
Unfortunately, we’ve stopped using it for a couple reasons. First off, THE DUMB NOTIFICATIONS. This shouldn’t have to be a point, but it is. Nobody looks at their BAND notifications because half the time it’s like “Check out the new Summer sticker pack!” which is ridiculous. It’s probably the number one reason that people deleted the app. Secondly, the chat system is super weird. The board posting is cool, and it works. Usually people ask questions here. There isn’t really a reason to have the SMS chat, but it’s there. So many people got confused by it. Another reason is the fact that there’s just not much you can do with it that you can’t do any other way. It basically just turned into Remind. It was just the leaders of the chat sending posts to everyone else with little conversation. If we used Remind, we could have done the same thing and cut out all the extras.
I want to like this app, but if it did without the self-marketing and if it stopped acting like a social media app rather than a group chat one, it would probably see a lot more use.
Works Great!
I’m going to disagree completely with mom198. Most of the issues expressed in that 1-star review are a function of not fully understanding how to use the app. She recommends SI, which is used by my son’s rugby team, and I can positively state from experience that BAND is a much more powerful and user-friendly app than SI. Does it have a learning curve? Of course it does, but once you learn to fully utilize it, it’s great.
I do agree that some of the pop-ups can be annoying, but it literally takes 5 seconds once every week or 10 days to turn them off for the week. Not really something to complain greatly about.
I do have one request from the developers...can you make it possible to “bump” a post back to the top of the feed? As my organization’s leader, my important posts sometimes get pushed down in the feed by other posts. (I already have other equally important stuff pinned to the important notices area.) It would be a nice upgrade if I could easily bump the important stuff back to the top.
Overall, great app! Easy to use and a powerful communications tool for my organization.

I’ve been looking for something that can do many of the capabilities that BAND has to manage the youth that I serve and just like that, I came across BAND. I have grown to love it so so so much! The only thing I wish it had was forums and maybe groups within each BAND. If you all could do that, you’ve got me forever. Otherwise, considering it is a free app, it gets a solid 5! It’s gets no better than that. They give a lot in exchange for a free download so BAND, know that you are appreciated and that I’d advocate for you ANY DAY! With this new payment option, that gives even more hope and excitement for what else there is to come. Thank you!! Keep being great!
Super annoying self promotion is not ok, app otherwise is.
As far as a platform for groups talk to each other and having a feed set up. The app is fine. What is super obnoxious is how many notifications and how much of your feed is actually cluttered up with things telling you about the app itself. I’m already using the freaking app!! Please stop telling me about it! I don’t need 15 different notifications telling me about how I can incorporate it into my life and work. I just need to know if practice is cancelled this week! Also, changing the notification settings changes the way I actually receive important and relevant information from the groups I’m in. The fact that I can’t see what my group is actually talking is about without filtering through ad-like notifications defeats the whole purpose.
Editing privileges
I’ve been using this app for years and am a member of over 20 bands. I use this for family, friends and church volunteer groups. The bands that I’m a manager of, I would love the option to be able to edit posts of others. I will ask other members to post information and I will look over and double check for miss-spelled words and content. I have to text them to correct the post instead of being able to quickly edit it myself. It would be great if managers of the band had the permission to edit posts from others. Right now, I can only delete the entire post, which is not helpful unless some posted something inappropriate.
Best app ever for coaches
The BAND APP has absolutely everything a coach needs for their team. Scheduling, live streaming events, the ability to post team material and updates, chat and sub group chat for athletes and parents etc.... If you ever wished you could find one app for all of your team communication, it’s here.
I’ve been using band for the last 2 years and it’s hands down the best team app out there. If you have a problem with the app, the customer service staff is on it quickly to fix it, and if you have suggestions for improvements, the developers are on that quickly also. Thanks BAND for making my life easier.
Broken app, silent support staff
With the 6.2 update came all kinds of headaches, most notably messages appearing in some unknown order rather than by recent, and load times that are frankly unbelievable. Using 6.2 it takes 2-3 times as long to load each chatroom, which is frankly unacceptable when when I monitor so many.
To top it off, in response to the update I messaged the support team and have yet to hear back. I now have sent three requests for assistance in the approx. 12 months since I started using Band, and I have yet to receive a response for any of them.
After the 6.2 update, Band is absolutely unusable.

Worst Customer Service
I am writing to share the terrible experience I had using this app. I have been using BAND on and off for a while, but when I tried to log in the app says that my account doesn’t exist. When I tried to create a new account under the same email, the app says I cannot do this because I have tried with that email address before.
I wrote into customer service, they said I was repeatedly creating and deleting accounts. This is not the case as I had only created one account ever. They said they had released my email address and I could create a new account under the same email. When I tried to do this, I was still locked out.
I wrote back to customer service again and explained that I never deleted and recreated my account. They did not respond to me until 5 days later. They said that this was impossible, and the only thing that could have happened is that I intentionally deleted my account.
BANDs ticketing system for customer service inquiries does not allow for replies. So each time I need to reply, I have to start a new ticket and catch the customer service agent up to speed. Based on the way they write their responses, I am not certain that they are fully reading or understanding what I am saying.
From what I could research, this company is not based in the US, so it is possible that there is a language barrier here. The grammar of the agent’s writing was very awkward to read. If BAND is offering customer service to a US audience, they should have agents that are fluent in the language.
So here I am, still locked out of my account without any of my history. I will be working to migrate my group onto a different platform.

So I love using band it’s very useful for sports and other things even school whoever whenever I go on and try to watch videos it’s kinda slow and sometimes it does not load and then I can’t get it to work if you could please just try to help it load or run better that would be great because right now if I can’t get on and watch the videos then I can’t see what’s happening or know and sometimes in the middle of watching a video when I can it just stops in the middle or something if I could please be seen and heard so you can fix this app and get it to where it will be able to do allot more that would be great I do love the call and text feature so please continue making this app good thank you
Amazing for a class
I appreciate that it is free. As a teacher I’m using this for my class. I love every feature on it! Thank you so much for not overwhelming with advertisement and for allowing us to use it for free. I love that I can type up as many characters as I would like, I can create events with reminders, I can ask for RSVP, I can ask for donation and unlimited items. I love that the parents can message each other, if they want to invite for play dates or birthday parties. I appreciate I can upload videos and pictures. The only thing I wish it didn’t decrease the pictures. It comes to a small pixel size.
Annoying notifications & navigation
My phone is constantly receiving notifications from this app to the point it freezes all other applications. It's not user friendly for those of us New to Band app. However it is easier to figure out and has a crisp clear voice chat compared to apps such as discord. I'm mostly annoyed by the settings because if you want to change anything in the app you must customize each band individually. If you attempt to change the notification settings for the entire app you only have 3 choices to turn off for 1 hour, 3 hours, or until 8am. I have multiple band groups and would like to shut off all notifications while my app is not open and during certain times while sleeping or busy. I literally have to put my entire phone on do not disturb to stop band notifications from waking me up every 3-5 minutes.
