Literally can’t watch a video without it stopping and buffering. I have great connection and have 0 problems on all of the other apps. If you are needing to watch film for a sport this is the worst app to have.

I was testing the system and just added my teammates serves on my profile, planning to delete it. I CANT DELETE IT! NO MATTER WHAT! I ASKED CUSTOMER SERVICE AI AND ITS SO CLUELESS AND TELLS ME ITS DELETED WHEN MY FRIENDS CAN SEE IT! FIX NOW

New update to the app makes it unusable. It used to be awesome to access film on the go away from a computer but now it isn’t sorted the way it always has been. I don’t understand why they would mess with a good thing.

They somehow made the app look and feel worse with the new update. Impressive!

Add ai or something so you can ask questions about stats and the game, and keep me logged in I don’t wanna type in a password every time

Did you test this before releasing it? App stops recording spontaneously, screen gets clipped out during sessions, overall a horrible update.

App was working fine until this last update. One of the last games for many seniors, app crashed several times, UI bugs and then video is gone when I tried to upload what was recorded. Some really upset players and parents…

if i could leave 0 stars i would… i’ve spent an hour waiting for it to allow me to upload a profile and all it does is freeze. My profile is left as a small piece of the background and won’t let me move the photo around. i’m very disappointed because hudl is great but it won’t even let me watch my film until i upload a profile photo? so dumb…

I have updated the app uninstalled, and re-downloaded every time I try and view the film it immediately kicks me out and I can’t watch film

Don’t get it twisted, when this app works it’s amazing but I swear every time I try to use it it’ll either sign me out repeatedly, go to a black screen eternally, or whenever I try to go to a video the app crashes. I don’t know what is wrong with it but it’s gotten so annoying now that I wrote this review.

New update is causing force closing during steaming. Very unreliable and frustrating

it’s a good app when it works but most of the time whenever i’m trying to watch film i’ll click on a clip and it kicks me out of the app immediately.

For watching film itself it’s pretty good. But it’s missing some features that would be nice to have. For example, being able to check team minutes watching film (it had this maybe 2 years ago). Also can’t see generated reports like you can on the web. Just feels a bit incomplete.

Because Hudl has a monopoly on the high school film business they have no need to innovate and are stuck 20 years ago in terms of interface and features.

Only thing to do on an iPad is actually watch the film. Cannot upload or look at stats. Great concept bad execution.

Based on my issues and the issues I see posted by others, its pretty sad they can’t get it fixed. Going down hill with other sports recording options becoming available.

Worst thing about this app is that you can’t watch film comfortably without something going wrong. Black screen, not functioning playback buttons, you name it…HUDL IPAD APP IS GARBAGE

It has been over 3 months of Hudl showing a black screen when in full screen mode on Hudl Classic. When will this be resolved? Countless iOS updates and Hudl app updates and no fix. Our team pays thousands of dollars for our package and a black screen is not acceptable.

The app started off well and whatever update they did prevented users from watching videos. FRUSTRATING.

I realize that these apps need to draw revenue where they can but the ads that interrupt the play are relentless and constant. It is sooooooo annoying.

Hudl used to work pretty well on my phone, but now all I get is a blank white screen so it’s pretty much useless. Not sure how to fix it, and I would be grateful for any help.

Terrible app, used to work fine in the past but every time I open the app in any device the screen is just black. I even waited about 10 minutes to see if it would load but it never did. Trash app

Hudl used to be hands down the best youth sports related app ever made. Then someone Einstein went and ruined the entire experience, now it’s totally worthless. Whoever made the decision to change it should step down. What a giant disappointment. Not sure why they changed it all I know is now it’s awful. Probably greed related is my guess.

This app is the worst. Constantly has buffering issues, it turns perfectly good videos fuzzy in Hudl, it claims there are video quality issues even when recorded in 4K, it cuts videos short for no reason, and during busy times, it’s impossible to upload new content. It took over 12 hours to upload 1 video, and then couldn’t upload any others (3 days after the tournament ended). It constantly forces the user to sign back in. This feedback is consistent across everyone on our sports team who is forced to use Hudl. They have over-promised and continue to under-deliver. The Android app is 10 times worse. Not the way to run a business.

It’s a really good app and helps me watch my highlights or other teams or study for games and all around a great app

A very useful app, but there's a BIG flaw, on iphone, for me at least, when you search up a team to get the film from that team so you can watch yourself, it only shows players with a name similar to what you typed and it doesn't show any team whatsoever, i've tried looking in settings and googling it but nothing works. it works great if you have a computer, but it's not useful to have on your phone.

It’s good but sometimes it takes a while to load like I’m not sure why it’s just the loading screen when I click on film or highlights and it’s only my phone having issues not my computer.

Reset my password twice and tried signing in every way possible and none work. Absolutely terrible

Live streams never work. Payed to watch my kid play while he was out of town and it is always buffering.

This is still terrible. The developers admitted they know. They either cannot fix it or don’t care to fix it. It’s terrible on the iPad! They did an app update and I was excited to see that this issue was repaired but NOPE. The response I got from their IT department was to use a laptop. Terrible. iPad A17 with IOS 26.0.1: Everytime a clip starts the screen is blank. The work-around is to start the clip is small view and then expand. Have to do this for EVERY clip. Other issue is when mirroring and working with more than one app. When you toggle between apps, the screen goes full white. The only solution is to un-mirror, close the Hudl app, restart the Hudl app, re-mirror. These two problems make using the mobile app unsustainable.

I downloaded the app and tried to log in. It gave me an error screen, stating I owed an excess amount stated on the invoice. Which I never had a Hudl account. I tried another email and had the same issue. I tried my Apple account and once again, same issue. Horrible app experience!!

Every time I post something it takes 10 business days for me to watch it. Unacceptable can even make a full session highlight tape and watch it.

Back in Sept, someone already said how the app freezing. The first time it plays it works fine. But the next time video is frozen but time is still playing…

Can’t watch game film on app or website. Everything used to work fine. Very frustrating because we take game film very seriously. My organization just switched to HUDL, I wish they would just switch back to our old video provider. I’m so frustrated, this is the first app review I’ve ever made and I’ve had an iPhone for 15+ years.

I’m trying to watch game film for the upcoming week. Haven’t been able to on the app. It glitches and I can’t get past the first play of my game film or practice film. Very frustrating need fixed keeps saying angle not available.

Camera view is great when it works. Most expensive school sports app we buy. Yet, you can only see home games for your school. You have to pay $14.49 to watch each of your school’s away games after paying over $140.00 for a yearly subscription that allows you to only watch home games. Then…when watching the games, it continually pauses and must be reloaded, meaning not only do you miss touchdowns, extra point attempts, etc, but you have to watch ads again! Worst app ever!

The app is amazing. I love the highlights I make, but one small problem. When I try to delete a highlight, IT WILL NOT LET ME LEAVE. It says, “Continue editing” or “Discard changes”, and I try to exit out of the app it’s still there. Please fix this issue.

I think HUDL mobile is good when you need to see something and you don’t have your computer but sometimes while watching film after a clip loops the clip will just randomly freeze two seconds in, but the timeline still says it’s playing. I also think slo-mo should be available on mobile or at least changing the playback speed

Had it with this and looking for other options. It’s 2025: AI ball tracing is pretty terrible. Video editor is garbage and you cannot zoom on clips. Where are you spending the money? It’s on on app development! It was actually better a few years ago.

They don’t seem to be able to keep the bugs out of this thing. It doesn’t seem to matter if you use the app or web browsers, there’s alway something freezing up. This is a complex program and it’s rather confusing to learn how the features work. Need to hire someone to improve and better organize documentation. It’s even more confusing trying to go back and forth between the mobile app and browser versions as the functionality is different. The app also seems to work better in some browsers than others. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, It’s rather disappointing that Hudl has effectively turned their backs on youth sports by jacking up the annual pricing from $99 to a minimum of $400. I did video for my sons teams for 4 years and the subscription came out of my pocket not the teams. Apparently because they have been so successful at the high school & college level, they don’t care about the youth sports markets anymore.

Hudl responded they will not be allocating resources to correcting the issue. While the work around takes much longer- hours- it is what it is. If you want speed for uploading videos and sending to Hudl assist- use your phone. If you can be far enough away, the 1x zoom isn’t an issue- indoor volleyball use your phone or record to the iPad and upload. Hudl’s response: We appreciate you taking the time to troubleshoot with us, and we do apologize we weren't able to resolve the issue. We've determined we'll no longer be delegating resources to fixing the issue at this time. We'll still track this defect, and make note of any future requests for it, but we wanted to let you know of its current state. We understand this could be frustrating, but we want to make sure we're transparent with our users who've reached out about defects, and that we're doing our part in setting realistic expectations. Update: Hudl told me they are working on an update yo correct this, but there were other updates that took precedence. That’s fine. However, I now have 4 hour long volleyball games that are over an hour each to upload - As I was told by Hudl to record to record directly yo my iPad. However, the uploads continue to crash because the Hudl application can’t seem to handle to upload- so I am here to let everyone know. Original: Something was updated last year that defaults iPad videoing to Hudl to a 1x zoom. For indoor volleyball, this makes it pointless to use the Hudl app on an iPad to record games, because the video is too zoomed in to see the entire court. This does not happen with iPhone or if I record video directly to my iPad. I have called support and they don’t know how to fix the problem.

The app is good and allows you to project your athletic prowess into the world but it is lacking some existing functions that this company has already implemented. When reviewing film on the pc or website version you have many more controls and options such as slow forward and rewind, fast forward and rewind and the ability to zoom. I understand why these functions were removed as they are harder to apply in a smaller form factor like what is needed for a smart phone app, but it makes the app almost insignificant when all you use hudl for is reviewing film.

Uploading videos is spotty at best and doesn’t always finish. I’ve done several test uploads and the last video clip never finishes so on the desktop browser library, it shows the processing running circle. If I don’t have cell service on my iPad and am at a track meet and want to upload my videos once I have WiFi, what is the best way to do that? Also, when I try to replay the video I just took with my athlete for immediate correction before their next attempt, the playback feature is jumpy and I miss some frames during the frame by frame analysis. After trying to drag the scrubber several times, I’m finally able to get the video to the frame I want. If there is a way your developers can increase the frame rate or buffer rate for immediate playback without mobile upload, that would be great.

Hello, I film for my high school football team and I recently had to film a game. Everything’s good so far. Then I go to upload it. It asks me to give the footage a title and when I’m done putting in the title I hit upload... then the app closes out randomly. I try to re-open the app knowing it would save the footage in the camera roll. I look in the camera roll... where’s the footage? All 123 clips, gone, POOF. I tried to look in the library and recently deleted, but nothing. I don’t know if it was the iPad I was using (iPad Air 2) or the app itself. If it is hudl, that’s a whole game lost thanks to hudl. Also please fix the zooming, it’s horrible, super choppy. I need a smooth zoom in and out. Also make it so that you can upload footage from the camera roll in the app by mobile. For now, this app gets 1 star due to the upload malfunction, and the zooming. Please fix it and maybe I’ll move the rating up.

I really like hudl, I enjoy it quite a bit actually. My biggest problem with it is the lack of ability to use with an iPad or mobile devices. I would like to begin creating playbooks with my iPad, but the mobile version doesn’t support it, and opening Hudl through the browser to create a playbook is difficult to say the least. I would just hope that more features are available through the mobile app so that I don’t feel like I am losing functionality while using my iPad. If all features are the same from mobile to browser, this would easily be a 5 start review. But I have run into a lot of frustration with it, so I will leave it at 3.

I love Hudl and its breakdowns. The film that it provides is top-notch. The quality is consistent so I can always see what’s going on in a game. I have ONE problem with Hudl. I pause Hudl and leave the app and every time I come back to it, it restarts the film that I was watching to the beginning (0:00). This is really annoying to deal with especially when I’m preparing for a game, to try and guess where I was in the film. I end up starting from the beginning which wastes so much time. I really hope Hudl can fix this major issue.

I read where someone said making highlights is difficult and time consuming. I would only agree that is true on my iOS devices. The key to creating a highlight is capturing the top plays immediately after each game which is simple on iOS. This cuts down on going through each game at the mid or end season points. This is where I find it difficult adding music (which is actually only for the general public. Coaches and recruiters find it distracting) and making the final season highlight video with other cool HUDL features.

I’ve opened the app, redownloaded it, updated my phone, but no matter what I do, when I open the app I can’t go to the home page or profile or the anything, it just keeps me on the menu. Also when I’ve tried to open things from emails, it opens the Hudl website and then says “server error” This has been happening for the past few weeks, and I also can’t see videos my coach has posted. Other teammates have been able to view them but for some reason it won’t work for me. I’ve logged into other devices and used Hudl there, but the same problems happening. My coach also took me off of the team on Hudl and I joined back again, and that still didn’t work. Why is this happening?

Ease of use is good. I like some of the features they have in the app. I wish there was an easy way to add plays to a cutup while in the app, but it’s not a deal breaker. I use the Hudl App on my iPad Pro. Everything works fine until I connect it to my overhead with HDMI using my Apple Model A2119 dongle. When I do this, I end up getting two plays at once on the screen. It almost looks like picture-in-picture. I completely obstructs the view of the play we’re trying to show. I have stopped using the Hudl app and instead use the website now, but this is very inconvenient. I’ve tried to contact support, but have not been successful in getting a response.

Hudl, when working well, can be useful. They are slow to address bugs, like the playbook corrupting your installs. It’s hard to send our athletes to Hudl when we can’t trust the data. There are also inconsistencies with how Hudl works on a mobile device vs. how it works on a laptop. I wish I could do everything I want to in both formats, but unfortunately, I can’t. I also wish the video still shared the breakdown data with the athletes. We had to find a work around for this to help the athletes with their video review. Overall, Hudl is ok, but it seems like they are more concerned with selling their Hudl Assist services than providing a stable platform for schools to use for their programs.

I wasted a day trying to use the buggy video editor to splice apart our beginning to end live stream game video and gave up in disgust. Each splice makes you start back at the beginning of the video and fast forward back to where you just spliced so you can play from there and make the next splice and a start at the beginning again. About as aggravating as software could ever be. Then I spent half a day fighting to use the buggy stats tagging function only to find after I entered an entire game the stats were completely wrong and there is no way to review and correct any errors. Completely wasted my time. Oh and you have to upload on the web app because the iOS app doesn’t work for that either.

Has anyone else noticed that the most recent update appears to have changed the field of view when recording? Our team has used HUDL all season, and always uses the same iPad device and same wide angle lens from back line of volleyball court, but now all of a sudden with that same set up, the view of the court when recording is totally different, less of the court is visible. It was so different in fact that we had to switch to a fish I lens, which we knew would distort a bit, but what we saw through the iPad viewfinder was completely different than what was actually recorded and how it appears on play back.

You can do what you need but I feel it’s time to give us coaches a little more on mobile. I’d love to be able to use Hudl recruit. When I switch to it in app, nothing changes about my home page like it would on a desktop. While viewing video I feel the interface is confusing. Especially, if you’re trying to filter clips. Plus, it doesn’t carry all filter options on mobile. Would love to see these improvements. Especially since I’m a college coach and spend a ton of time on my phone

Ok so I don’t know if it’s just my phone or what but whenever I open the app then login the whole screen burs and it just goes dark it doesn’t shut off or anything but you can’t do anything then sometimes there is just a random logout button in the middle of the screen and whenever I click it the app shuts off and brings me to my home screen. Yeah I know there is a website but thats not working either. Whenever I login to that it doesn’t show any buttons it just showed featured videos that I could scroll down and watch. So my experience wasn’t very pleasing and I know I was on stable wifi and my account is official. Anyways I just feel like I can’t win and Hudl just doesn’t want me logging in.👎

….1. For those that don’t have access or can’t afford the Hudl Assist program, self-tagging the volleyball matches is wild. No place to make edits. Once saved can’t go back and re-edit. It’s a little unfortunate that Hudl has the AI support for tagging skills and moments, but doesn’t even have basic support for the regular user to do it themselves. So strange and overlooked by the company. 2. Sound recording is also wild. Everyone who uses Hudl, you know. 3. The app has no editing capabilities. What in the 10 years ago? Not really app friendly for coaches.

Idk what most people talk about sure it’s a bit expensive and it will glitch like one out of a hundred times you open the app but it works great you can text your teammates from the app you can take your best plays and turn them into awesome highlights also if you are a coach you can see which players are actually using the app and which ones are slackers my coach has called a few dudes out n my team for not watching film but the app works great!!!

I have been trying to film games and upload them using Hudl app. I can sit in my classroom connected to WiFi and record large segments of video and they upload. I go out to the field and film without WiFi and when I come back to school to upload it always freezes. I have deleted and redownloaded the app, in the fall I did this for football with zero problems. After the last updates to the app it continually freezes. Unfortunately I use my schools tech and they won’t let us use iTunes on our laptop.

Overall Hudl is a great app that allows me as a player to see my mistakes and improve on them. The app is pretty good but there are some difficult parts. For example making a highlight reel can be difficult and frustrating, I made a 4 minute highlight tape that took 6 hours to make. Hole it did turn out well it took a very long time to produce. Another challenge in the app is managing your timeline. It’s difficult to delete highlights already uploaded and to pin videos. But overall hudl is great.

Can’t get the app to stay open on iPhone 11 Pro Max. Crashes consistently on startup. Deleted and reinstalled. Same result. Rebooted phone, same result. The software is super clunky when it does work (1:200). It’s easier to find film of other schools or athletes than our own. I get kids like to be voyeristic and see what others are doing, but the home should keep them from click bait so they do what we need them to do as coaches - watch film and get better. We have to recommend to players to use the desktop version so that we know all features are working. Otherwise they don’t watch or we get bombed with questions of this and that.

This is for volleyball. I appreciate the app. The reports and ease of uploading (although through safari) is user friendly and a great tool. The one thing I would include if possible, is the hitting tendencies that is available on the desktop and for some reason not available on the app. Or even mobile internet (safari). Most of our coaches are mostly utilizing the convenience of having the information on our phones. It also lets our players see near instantly via app. The hitting tendencies would be something we would use a lot on the go. Whether during breaks at school or at the tournament. Unfortunately this feature is only available on the desktop. I hope that gets added in the near future.

We came to hudl with high hopes of a messaging and posting app that our team could use. We paid what I felt was quite a bit for the services. It has been a complete waste of money. The kids don’t get notifications unless I pay more. I can’t post pictures. I did start posting links. Which was fine for now. But then they were all logged out and all our messages are gone. There are a bunch of people in our groups who are not on our team. I think it somehow got merged with another team. And now I can’t make group messages at all. I needed this to make my life easier. Not cause more problems.

First off I went through and updated all of the players and the tagging still couldn’t get it right. Then if you make a mistake and finish a play you have no way to go back and change the plays or cancel a pat if the touchdown is called back late. I’ve had it crash in the middle of a game and not allow me to get back to the game I was tagging. When you finish a game, you no longer have access to the stats in the app, you have to figure out the correct feed link and go out to the web page to get them.

Everything I’ve had to do on this app has worked fine other than two things. One if you were watching film and were to fast forward or rewind I’ll little in the film the sound of the film would be delayed with the video for a couple seconds(long enough to notice it.) Two the film may freeze every once in a while of go down in video quality but other than that I’m pretty happy with the app lately.

It’s be nice if we could ODK clips in “mass quantity” through the app. For example: select clips and make them all Offense. Select certain clips for Defense and Special Teams. Instead of doing it one by one on a computer. Entering data on the app isn’t possible. But holy cow it’d be sweet if we could!! At the very least the quarters, ODK, Hash and other things that are clear by looking at the thumbnail. I tried to find a way to reach development, but was striking out. Hopefully they see this and can make it happen…???

Hudl is such a great platform and is amazing when it works properly! Their are way to many bugs for the iPhone xs Max you are better off using your computer. Whenever you try and slide the time bar during a video of film your iphone will register as if your are trying to swipe between application and exit the app. Also whenever a video begins to play whether it's on your profile or in your feed the entire app will freeze and will only play the video and not respond at all.

HUDL, I am trying to create a highlight video to send to college coaches but when I am on my game footage trying to clip videos, after a certain play number it says “no WiFi, try again later” the issue is I have tried to make the highlight on several different devices and in different locations so I know it is not the WiFi. What should I do?

Hudl used to be a great app, I’ve been using it for 5 years and never really recall having any real issues until this year. Every time I want to watch film and edit clips it genuinely plagues my existence. When you rewind the film the little spinning wheel comes up and doesn’t go away and there’s so many bugs when putting together highlight videos. Making just one 30 second video takes SO LONG because this app is so awful to work with. They really need to bring improvements as soon as they can.

I like hudl. I think it is a reliable app to use for film for football. But there is this one problem i’m having with hudl and that is highlighting a play, I used to see the star icon that is right above the plays when i saw my film but i’m somehow not getting that icon anymore to highlight a play. I tried on iPhone and i tried on PC. But it simply won’t work. Can one of the hudl workers reach out to me please to help me solve the problem and not send me a video about how to highlight a play that was posted 3 years ago? Thanks! From, Chris

Multiple occasions I have gone to upload, only to have an “error” and the files lost. Ive tried direct upload, computer transfer upload, and uploading from 3 different devices. Any time I reach out to customer service the response time is a week, minimum. They don’t have a number to call either. I cannot express my disappointment enough in this program. If you are a school system thinking about licensing the software, I urge you to look elsewhere. In the meantime I hope this post finally gets their attention so I can get help for once.

I also liked being able to hear the sound as was previously available. It needs to be incorporated again. I do like the G backgrounds and themes. Very sharp and adds variety. I also liked to be able to add a slide with a picture embedded in the title page. Also needs to be able to add text on several lines instead of trying to fit measurables on two lines of text.

Where the heck is a sound icon? It doesn’t exist in the app. The features to skip forward or something like dragging a video timeline back and forth isn’t possible. It’s just a straight video view with zero features. Why? And it’s impossible to view on a mobile browser even with the features because the video player icons fall below the screen cut off when on landscape orientation with button the size of ants. Poor mobile app and mobile web UX and UI; pretty much can only in a desktop web experience.

For me as an athlete it helps me improve from every mistake I make throughout the night to improve me as an athlete. This summer I watched all of my game film and took my summer practices to advantage and am now doing great. From a person scoring 3 points all season last year to now having 25 in just 3 games it’s good thank you Hudl team for your incredible app and hope you guys keep up the good work

I’ve been on Hudl for a few years, never has it been a tool I can use. Coaches don’t respond, videos aren’t made available, nothing seems to be accessible with out approval from assignors or coaches which rarely happens. The app should be a lot more accessible to “members.” I don’t need highlights. I need a tool to study film as it relates to penalty’s that were called. Coaches complain about penalties all the time, let us see them so we can critique our flags and get better at administering the game. If we as officials work a particular game, at the very least, we should have the automatic right to review that game.

I think Hudl is a great way to find the mistakes you made in film and that you can watch what you did wrong as try to get better instead of making more mistakes and it’s s great way to stay in contact with other players, and also to find more techniques from other players who have been in football for years for some that haven’t played at all.

Huge pet peeve is I cannot stand when you try to update a highlight or edit it and once you are done instead of allowing you to go ahead and just save it and add it, it forces you to post it as if you’re keep reposting and notifying everyone of the same highlight. Definitely room for improvement on this app but right now it’s the only thing available.

I can’t thank the folks at Hudl for the tremendous effort they put in making the most robust app out there available to users. This app has changed my ability to get stats in on time, create highlight reels for my players looking to play in college and saves me time. The customer support is amazing when I have questions or I encounter a problem. They respond very efficiently and have a great solution or way to help me work through getting the information I need.

I love this app. It makes it so easy to go look in my playbook, watch my film, and watch my opponents film.I love the feature that allows me to click on my opponents team and it gives me a complete breakdown of their tendency's. It will tell me down and distance and whether they prefer to run and pass. I love how much it helps with pre game preparation and i highly recommend it.

This is an awesome app and I like it a lot. There are a few issues. The app is always glitching out and kicking me out of the app. Also the messages are always showing read messages as unread. I just wish the messages feature was a little better.

I've been using husk for years and it's great, but I've published highlights in the past and for some reason now when I go to publish it brings up the edit page and it says publish but won't allow me to actually edit the highlight and publish it. I don't know if it's my device or a glitch in the app, but needs to be fixed

I’ve used Hudl for about 6 years and love it. The app is less than desirable. Between the freezes and crashes, it is hard to effectively watch film. I use it on both my iPad and iPhone and have trouble with a few things. It constantly freezes and crashes when flipping through plays or playlists. I also don’t like that when I switch to another app (to make notes or draw something) it resets to the beginning of the playlist. So I then have to flip through and find where I was. I feel this has great potential but has not come to fruition yet.

Hudl (the product itself) spends more in their ad/marketing campaign— vs the next 3 largest competitors in this almost niche industry (within an overall huge sports video industry). A best decision Hudl could make would be to continue using the Krossover basketball platform. Intuitive and clean is the signature of Krossover. Hudl is far less intuitive and the work flow (buttons), it isn’t arranged well at all. All of this comment is specific to basketball and Hudl VS Krossover platform.

This app is terrible. The video would not load for a long time. After it finally did load and start playing it only lasted a few minutes before freezing up. The audio cuts outs. It gets stuck in an endless loop of ads. To get it to work at all you have to edit the app and go back in. When you go back in you get to watch the ads all over again for several minutes. I missed way more of the event that I tried to watch than I actually saw

It takes a while to get used to the app interface, but once you do Hudl is packed with great features such as editing film, or communicating with other athletes. If your team left Hudl after the initial learning curve, please give it another try.

Love the app and video fir our players and teams. Easy to use for coaches and players all the stats fir soccer are great as well as the player tracking. The only improvements I see that’s needed is a fully 4K outdoor camera for auto filming with zoom capability. Also y’all need a a stat for duels/tackles won especially for defensive players and midfielders.

I wish Hudl for basketball had the playbook feature that is offered with the football version. I would love to be able to build a digital library to help my players have access to installs and playbooks. That feature really should be added. Coaches should be able to create plays on both half and full court templates
