I found this app really easy to use. It was fun watching the progress of my children running the Bristol 10 km run.

Used the AJBell app to track three runners in Bristol half marathon very successfully giving grandson opportunity to cheer them on

Easy to set tracking up

It is the first time we have used the app and it was so exciting to see our son’s progress all the way round and see his times. We loved it and will definitely be using it again.

It was great fun to be able to follow my daughter and her 2 friends around the course in real time. 😀

Good, easy to navigate. I wish you could toggle the pace from miles to km’s as it was set in miles, plus maybe an extra marker about the 3/4 mark would have been cool. Also not the App itself but the live coverage, it was one stream that flicked between the start and finish line, so I missed my husband crossing the finish line. Seperate stream for each spot on the course would be much better!

Best app ever

The app improves every year and gives great information. However, it’s let down by the lack of internet connection, so when the non elite runners start to come through it freezes due to no connection which I know isn’t the apps fault. I have to get my sister to send me updates from home so I know where my nephew and partner are

Knocks spots off the London marathon app. Great that each mile I get a signal to say completed

I followed my Granddaughter on the run I knew exactly where she was and how she was doing. We were able to go to a vantage point to watch her pass

Amazing app. Allows me follow my two daughters from across in Northern Ireland. Constant updates in real time and following the map is great fun. I wish the TV or yourselves could set up a channel to allow everyone watch the masses cross the finish line. Post lung surgery Heather’s race time increased so they ended up further behind the masses of runners and finishing time is after 2pm when TV cuts off. The two girls, Catherine and Heather have now completed 600 miles running in full and half marathons. Catherine participated in a Half Iron and Heather now plays Masters hockey heading to South Africa for the World Cup in October. I love watching this… keep it up and don’t hesitate if anyone can suggest fine improvements. Well done #proudmum

I use this to keep tabs when I used to live on the route. Very useful to keep track of race start/finish times, route, road closures, where stewards are placed, how many people are running etc. I did end up getting quite invested in the race and runners as you can see the people and their info (names, start/finish times, photos etc) which can be both interesting and a bit exposing for the runners lol but great app, easy to use UI, nice layout and never crashed despite the amount of people using it. Gives you past and future race info and notifies you of all of the above.

It was absolutely amazing to be able to watch my daughter’s progress in the Great North Run, her first half marathon. She raised over £1,000 for Ataxia UK (my 19 yr old grandson has Friedrich’s Ataxia). I loved the mile markers and the running countdown with how far she’d run and how far still to go. Also the notifications were great at key marker points. Thank you for the app and allowing me to virtually spectate from miles away!

Easy to download. I used the app to track 2 people in the Great North Run and it never failed. I was able to access the data easily for both participants. Up to date data recorded. I would use it again if I had anyone running in races I could track. Well done as we was unable to spectate it was lovely to track them in real time. Thank you

I used the App today for tracking a couple of runners in the GNR race. The App was quick to respond showing where the runners were, how fast they were running, predicted times at each mile and when they were predicted to finish. There were also lots of other features that were good too! Excellent, well done!

I had 2 sisters running in the race today but were not running together .. I was able to track each one at different times and areas . The actual run runs through the end of my street was able to go out and spur them on at different times I thought it was wonderful

Downloaded this to track friends & family running GSR today. Despite poor internet coverage around course area, tracking map and app continued to work seamlessly. So impressed! Meant we could get along to various points to cheer on family by tracking them. Brilliant!

Without the app I’m not sure we would have seen our family members and friends run past us. It also was great to monitor how they were progressing and was like they were in their own race between each other. Great tool!!!

Great app allowing you to track the runners’ location/knowing when they are approaching the spectator(s) so you can hopefully spot them to cheer them on! It’s great that you get update notifications on their progress and the photos are uploaded in good time once they’ve crossed the finish line!! Highly recommended download 👏🏻

This app is brilliant. It gave a multitude of information about the runner we were tracking including their location (which was accurate), their times and when they started and finished. All you need to get started is the runners race number!

Great how you can track and get notifications all along the route very helpful when you looking out for people you know doing a run. Right on time with whereabouts of who you are tracking and able to check in on multiple runners as they go.

This app was brilliant as I was able to follow my son, who was taking part, whilst I was at Home in Leeds. I could see exactly where he was all the way and even though I couldn’t see him it was a comfort to know that he made it through without having to wait for a phone call !

Found my partner east with her bib number and was able to see where she was on the course! The location was ever so slightly out but not by too much! The splits information (5km, 10km time etc) that you get notifications on is a really nice feature too!

This App allowed me to monitor my friends progress during the GNR, the level of detail it gave incorporated with the zero loss of connectivity made it easy for me to get give much needed encouragement when it was needed. I would definitely recommend this Application.

I found the app easy to use and could track friends and fellow runners easily. Having timing sensors at intermediate points is great. One mild criticism is that the pace times for 5k & Commentator positions were in minutes per mile and I noticed some of the HM splits were in minutes per km. Perhaps show both?

The app was brilliant as a spectator. The tracking was great as I was following 4 family members and it was so helpful to know their location and also their estimated finish time. Also the information about the whole event was very clear and easy to access.

We really enjoyed supporting our “daddy” my husband with the kids not being able to get there to support him we had it on the tv and the app watching him all the way and giving the family updates are great!

Loved it. Even though I couldn’t be there to support in person, it still felt exciting being able to follow timings, distance and route. I sent message for screens It would be great to be notified if and when shown. Weather feature would make it even more interactive as well

The app was very good at predicting finish times for my runners and that was brilliant as I was stood near the end. However it did fail at about 1.30 and I couldn’t refresh it. I knew the expected times of my runners by then. Breakdowns were good and the way I could access the data was good 👍🏼

I was tracking a few people running the Great North Run and I was very impressed with the app. Only had to type their names in and I was getting regular notifications of their progress along the course. The map was a nice touch too

The app was so much better than I was expecting, I love the tracking functionality and the map with details of water and mile markers. Was so easy to get breakdown info. Great to see where my friends were at any given moment!

Fantastic app to help spectators to track and located friends and family taking part . We were able to plan our route and amongst the thousands I was able to see my daughter! Very proud moment ❤️

The app makes you feel that you are part of the event and if you have done the run previously you can envisage where your friends & family located throughout the event

This was really great to be able to track a friend running in this - it meant I could get to the right spot at the right time to give her a little cheer! Interesting to read all of the stats as well! Many thanks!

Used this to keep check on 4 family members running the GNR, with there vest numbers gave mile checks, pinpointed on map ( good map & easy to read) and constant updates. Will use again next year. Well done

The app gave great information and seeing the timings of family was great. The ability to leave motivation messages was a great addition. Think info at 12 miles was working but heh that was just a minor incident

I used the App all day to track and monitor a selection of runners, including family members, that were taking part in the Great North Run in aid of the charity at the school I work for. It was amazing and really helped me to support them throughout the day.

Couldn’t be there in person, but this was the next best thing. To be able to track 5 members of my family throughout the race, with such detailed and live information was great. Thank you

This app was brilliant for us to follow our sons progress in the Glasgow Half Marathon today. We live in Sussex and could see where he was and how he was doing then seeing his time and when he finished! Really a super app.

Everything in one place and instant notifications of progress of those the user is tracking. This meant I was in the perfect spot to cheer my wife to the finish after I had completed my run in an earlier wave.

My son started running in his late 30s and it’s still a concern that something unexpected may happen to him whilst running. I love that I can track his progress and share in his achievements through this app.

Thank you this helped us track our family then find them at the finish . Very helpful but did crash at 7 Mile probably through sheer volume of people .

Excellent addition to the organisation of the GNR. My husband, who was at home, was able to follow our family member during the run, but some of us on The Leas couldn’t get an internet signal so we couldn’t always track. It’s a pity, but not the fault of the organisers. Well done.

Previous years not been able to maintain a signal this year was brilliant and the alerts were really helpful

Used the app to watch my brother do his first Great North Run! Unfortunately could go to spectate in person but great having the app to keep tabs on him & know when he got over the finish line!!

We found this app brilliant, our daughter was going the run but we could not watch her, but this app made us believe we were with her every moment of the way.

I loved this app, I couldn’t go and watch my daughter run but I followed her every step with this app. Loads of information given with times and averages, simple to use and free! Thank you.

Good updates and reminders in the run up to the event. Got my finish time immediately. Tracking was accurate and allowed my (faster) fellow runner to get a photo of me crossing the finish line.

Easy to set up and see specific runners either on a map or in a list with times per mile and per km. Alerts at every mile completed and an estimated finish time. Very good.

A simple app with some very useful features. I used the app leading up to the Great Manchester Run, during so friends and family could track my progress and afterward to check my times and official photographs…recommended!

First time using a tracker. 5 members of my family running and this app made it so special. We could see all their milestones and from a safety aspect knew where lone runners were at all times. Much more fun than standing at the finish line in the rain

Great, was able to track my jogging colleagues, little interruption when one participant tracker stopped for 30 mins but started again once through a significant trigger point. Easy to you use, even for an old person 🤣🤣🤣

First time using the app, was lovely to be able to track our son taking part for the first time.
