Overall works but still needs improvement like the chat section. Sometimes I lose messages, difficult to delete chats. People can join activities not in their rating range. Can’t view the activists I’m on waiting lists for

Easy to navigate
Using it primary for my padel games. My favourite feature is that you can see all the activities from your favourite bookmarked clubs for a specific day!
Please bring back playtomic
Awful awful app. Completely destroying my padel experience. App is dreadful to use. Rating system is a joke. I honestly cannot get a good quality game anymore.

Previous update meant I could not see upcoming bookings. Left review and all resolved.

Please add send to waitlist function!!!
What is the point of the waitlist if you can only cancel by link within 24 hours there are always a lot of people eager to take the spot. There should be a notification that goes to the waitlist too. Not everyone has the phone numbers or contact details of people to find a replacement but there’s always numerous people in the waitlist that would be happy to take the substitute spot if there was a way to offer it to them. Why does this not exist ????
Why is there no option to pick which notifications are required? To be notified of available spots when someone leaves a session I have to receive every community match which is crazy!

Key issues need fixing
Issues that make the experience more frustrating than it should be:
1. Waiting list visibility
It would be extremely helpful to have a dedicated section showing all the sessions I'm currently on the waiting list for. That way I could easily review and leave the ones I no longer want to join, instead of having to dig around to find them.
2. Better search tools
It would be great to be able to search for specific session types, such as all levelling sessions. Right now, it’s hard to filter down to what I actually want.
3. Filters not working properly
The level filters don’t seem accurate. I’m a 1.50, yet I still get shown matches or coaching sessions that require a minimum level of 2 or higher. The filter for suitable sessions would be incredibly useful IF it worked reliably.
4. Notification overload
The notification settings really need improvement. I only want to receive alerts for things like waiting-list openings, chat messages, or relevant updates - not every single community post. At the moment, even with the ‘new matches posted’ notifications turned off, I still get spammed. Relevant notifications (like follow requests) get completely lost in the noise. This is honestly the most frustrating part.
These small issues (especially the notification bombardment) really affect the experience. They seem like simple fixes, so I hope the team can address them soon. I don’t want to turn off notifications entirely just because one part of the system doesn’t work properly.
The best platform
We’ve switched over to padelmates from another platform, and our experience has been incredible, the difference is night and day and with the latest updates it just keeps getting better and better. Club customers are also saying how much they prefer it to our old platform. Don’t hesitate to make the switch, other platforms don’t even come close!
Please fix My Bookings
My Bookings now just shows all available matches, rather than your my bookings. Is this a bug?
Punitive ratings on losing matches
Does not adjust appropriately or intelligently when taking into account rating for losing matches against better players. The algorithm is off - if you play against better players and lose your level should be able to go up depending on how many games you get. Squashlevels much better
Poor replacement
I also play at Canary Wharf. This is a huge downgrade in user experience. In addition to the previous comments, the filters don’t work, I can’t select individual days and times, adding ‘friends’ takes more steps. Searching for other clubs doesn’t really work. The whole Padel experience is considerably worse for this app. I can only think that it’s cheaper for Padium as no one in their right mind would select this app for their centre. Bring back Playtomic.
Changed booking and buggy app
Recent updates means you can’t have have an open game where you accept requests, instead only outside a range that the app sets. Whilst now having a toggle where you can say male only and discriminate sexes? Crazy and unhelpful changes, need to get your product team on board with players and have a feedback form in the app pls.

I like to play at canary wharf and they moved off Playtomic app (very bad decision) tried booking using this app it is not user friendly, you can’t book an open court if there is a game open on a separate court… and the customer service is awful. I tried to book and the app would not let me accept people to join so I tried to cancel it 4 days before the match and the app kept glitching. Then I reached out to customer service and they keep saying “have you logged off and log I “
I will never try another app again and they are refusing to refund me my £25

A Disappointing Experience
Padel centres seem to have moved to Padel Mates on the basis of cost only and without any thought for the user experience.
The app is difficult to navigate and often requires multiple clicks where Playtomic requires one. Making bookings is challenging, adding and finding friends is even harder.
Extremely disappointing but we are held to ransom with using the platform. Long live Playtomic!
I wish this app didn’t exist
I can’t stand this app, I hate it. It looks like something some high school students put together for a project. I wish it didn’t exist so we can all just use Playtomic in peace.

Padium Canary Wharf made a big mistake
This app is atrocious. The user experience is shocking and Playtomic is 10000x better. I feel I’ll be playing far less at clubs that use this app. The confirming match process is so bad, and it takes me so long to find what used to take me one click in Playtomic. The app overall is very buggy and clunky and the design is bad too
Best way to lose customers…
Playtomic was far superior — why move away from something that worked so well? This new app is a massive downgrade. It lacks any real social element, is visually dull, and the interface is unintuitive. I’ve been trying to get used to it for months since launch, but it still feels unnecessarily complicated.
Simple tasks now require multiple steps — for example, having to “convert to match” is just one of many unnecessary hurdles. It takes five clicks to do what used to take one in Playtomic. I can’t easily find my friends, see who they’ve been playing with, or explore the community — features that made Playtomic genuinely engaging.
This app feels like a step backwards in every way — all seemingly just to save money, at the expense of user experience.
Why did Battersea rocket move to this rubbish app
Needs to go back to playtomic. This app is slow and seems to have been developed by some graduates straight out of uni. Would not recommend.

Crashes… every time I use it
Hmmm - think this needs an update.
Every time I explore training sessions in paddle it crashes- screen goes white & can’t get out! Only way to reboot the app is to delete then reload … but then it happens all over again.
Unless! …. Use PLAYTOMIC instead
Unless every time you try to log in it wants to create a new profile and it just says submitting and goes around in circles .. had to switch to a club using Playtomic app which works well
App does not work
After the most recent update, cannot see any matches on the search feature at any date or location. Going to my own profile page just closes the app completely and my chat history has been deleted! Please fix this asap!!
Latest update broke the app
Unable to use the app since the last update. It is not showing any games at all. It seems that they are updating the app region by region and my UK account auto updated to the latest region but the rest of Singapore is on an old version. Unable to access any games in Singapore.
App not working since update
A software developer somewhere is being absolutely torn to shreds for ruining this app. Doesn’t work at all, crashes, crippling the growth of this sport. Crushed beyond belief is an understatement. Might go back to playing squash/tennis…
Don’t not update to latest version
Since the latest update I can’t use the app, it’s deleted my contacts, lost my rating and I can’t find any activities including bookings I know as fact I am on! Again Do NOT update!
Hopeless!
Since the app was updated last week it no longer works on my iPhone 13. Shows only one activity- some random person seeking a game next week. Nothing else. Prior to the update it was fine! Have deleted and reloaded multiple times all to no avail. Now if I want to join a tournament I have to phone the centre. Hopeless app. 😡😡😡
App crashes and doesn’t work
Been trying to sign up/create an account but it keeps giving me an error message. I’ve done the steps/support and still doesn’t work. very glitchy app in my opinion
So many bugs
The app crashes so many times when trying to book onto a session. Also when I click profile the screen just goes blank. Have rebooted and tried again but it won’t work. Really want it to be better but it’s just not functional!
Padel not mates
Constantly glitches mid booking then you spend so much time rebooking you’ve lost the slot you were trying to reserve
