Whoever developed this groups website and app are pretty unknowing and poor. Constant ssl errors on everything. It’s awful as well as amateurish. The amount of shear money this soccer Ponzi command, they are cheating out on the primary interface. Would expect nothing less from American club soccer entities. Fix your product.

Can’t click the schedules by age group. Has been broken for a week.

I love the ECNL app as a team manager for checking in the players for the game. But get so frustrated with Gamecast which has the potential to be great. I can log the first half in Gamecast fine. But the following issues happen every time in the second half: - You can’t set a new formation for the second half. - You can’t set the players for the second half until you start the second half clock. I should be able to set the players starting the second half before I start the clock. This is the most frustrating thing that I would love to see changed. - The game score does not update in the second half. Goals logged seem to track the players involved. But the score of the game does not change. This has to be a bug that should have been fixed long ago.

Works very well and is quick and easy to use. Also helps with recruiting!

I’ve been trying to login but it’s always kicking me out and it’s always the same loading screen. It spins forever and doesn’t stop

They could improve a lot with the navigation and functionality.

It is a 7 step process just to get to my team’s conference standings. Why wouldn’t that be in my team page or at minimum a link on that page to get to it. It’s a 3 step process just to get to my team’s page. Every other sports app I have ever used has my teams on my home page and I didn’t have to dig for information.

This app is annoying and cumbersome to use. It makes it easy for players to be blocked from their account. It’s a bad, clunky app that would be an annoyance if free. As a paid app, it’s an abomination

The ECNL app worked OK at first. But at some point, an update was pushed out about 8-10 months ago and I was bumped out. I have not been able to log back in. Same for my wife and son. The app just freezes and does not let me use the “forgot my password” option. It just stays frozen or hung up. Very frustrating. For as much money as we dish out in club fees, the league should invest in a better functioning app.

I’m a team manager for my son’s team and need the app to work consistently. It works once, the next time it won’t load and does the spinning circle of death. I have to delete the app and redownload it, EVERY TIME I use it.

Fall of 2024 the app worked perfectly. By spring I could no longer log in. Finally got past the log in and now the app just will not load. It's like the league decided they didn't want an app so they've made it useless rather than just completely delete it.

I used this app for a few months without issues. Now, the app does not work at all. It will not load and just spins on the sign in page.

For the past several weeks the app hasn’t worked. I’ve tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, logging in and out..nothing fixes it. Disappointing!

Quite possibly the worst app in history. Always logs you out and now it never loads just the spinning circle. Deleted and reinstalled the app several times only to get the same result. Having to set up some player / parent account where the players are always getting logged out and always needing to log in just to track scores and schedules is ridiculous. It should be simple to use but it’s like solving a complex riddle every time you want to access basic information like schedules and standings. An elite league that costs thousands a year to participate in should have a seamless and intuitive app experience.

It was working until it wasn’t.

Unable to use despite deleting and reinstalling multiple times

Any chance this app will work any time soon? Uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times did not solve the issue. Ecnl website on a phone browser is terrible, but does barely work. The app=spinning wheel, does not work at all.

The app was working perfectly fine for a while… I was able to see my son’s games schedule pretty easily compared to his club team actual app. So that was super convenient for me. I’ve read some other reviews where it’s kind of a pain in the neck to go see standings for your child’s league and I agree that it is a little bit tedious. However, recently as of March 29, my son‘s schedule has completely disappeared from the app. I can still go under My teams and see that his club is still on my teams, it is marked as that I am following them, and I can go look at standings for his league and find his team and then their schedule… But on the “My schedule” button, it just has a blank schedule that comes up… And that just started today March 29, 2025. I’m not sure if this is a glitch in the app, and there’s no way for you to contact anyone Through the app to ask if there is a glitch in the app. Which is super inconvenient as well because there’s no place to actually go and try and talk to someone and see if there is a bug with the app.

It’s was working for a while and now after the last update it stopped working. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it like 6x in so done with it!

So using this app requires patience. There’s a protocol for you to actually be able to use it, not the most friendly one. Secondly, when you already find the team your son plays in, you follow it immediately to prevent the hassle of looking for it again. But following the team does not mean that it will be available when you click “My Teams”, you still need to click either male or female teams for the team you follow. Then after you’re in the profile of the team you’re interested in, you can only see their schedule and some other unnecessary stuff, you can’t jump from there to see the standings with a click, oh no, you need to go back by either clicking back several steps of closing the app and opening it again and searching for the league conference of your team on either ECNL or ECNL/Regional, then find the year and THEN finally see the standings.

The app just spins and never opens

The “upgrade” requiring an account doesn’t work. I try to login and it freezes. Quit the app, and it sits and spins, never opening. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, simply does not work.

I cannot get this app to open. It’s been glitching and will not allow me past the sign in page. I can find zero technical support.

This app enables you to get 2 subscriptions with a player. After you make the connection to your player, it does not store. As such, every time you try to use the app, it forces you to re register the player requiring an email to your player and then a verification process. This needs to be fixed immediately.

Not working

Impossible to now get into app, used it last year but now it says can’t find my daughter listed as a player. Went thru the new setup process multiple times and still no access. App was helpful when it worked last year, did something change? Would love to get it to work.

I try going into the app and it would let me get in at all.

I can’t get into my player account because of a email that I did not put as my player. I have no idea what the email is so I can’t touch it and i’m not paying 3 dollars just to see some standings.

Since they changed to the new athlete one login, I can login on the website but the app is useless, it just freezes at login and never opens. I’ve tried redownloading the app and changing my password, nothing works.

It won’t let me update my address or other information in my settings. It says it saves but doesn’t actually. It’s frustrating and is giving out outdated info of me as a player.

The new update does not keep the player that I add to my account. Have add a player every time I log in. App worked fine before new fancy update. Now it is just broken.

I can’t seem to find the league/conference standings, or opponents records, and performance in past games. I could do this with the previous version. Am I missing something? Also, it makes me send a request for a login from my son every time I want to login to app.

Changes were made for 24/25 season and instructions that ecnl sent to link my parent acct to the players does not work. It freezes and is totally useless

I hav no sent a code 6 times to my kid, each time it works and connects. Then within minutes or anytime I close the app the connection is lost. And I have to get an activation code EVERY time open the app. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, still doesn't work. App is useless with that functionality. The notes on the last release say they have fixes something like that. Oops guess not.

Since the ECNL app updated and went to a subscription based model I have to request being connected to my players account each time I open the app. Everything looks great and I have. Parent account until I close the app. Then I have to do it all again. Giving up after aver a month of issues.

The app is fine, but it repeatedly forces me to re-connect with the account associated with my son (ECNL player). This is a real pain, because the activation code gets sent to his email, not mine. Obviously the app should remember me and not force me to do this over and over.

The app does not retain when a player is added to the account. Thus it requires repeatedly submitting player credentials, sending the player an email, requiring a verification code. This problem has gone on for weeks and thus makes use of the app, impractical and useless.

Logging in to a parent account is such a headache and then kicks you out. I got into the parent account after several attempts…often the app saying it couldn’t find my player. Once I close the app, I am kicked off and have to set everything up again, including getting the passcode again from my player. why is there even a login like this. I don’t understand why anyone can’t access this to see game results and schedules. Even as a parent, I probably won’t be able to unless this is fixed. I’m not going to set it back up every single time I want to look at it. Functioning of this is horrible. Should be less than a star.

The app does not work well. As an example, my son plays in ECNL Mountain Conference South yet you only get results for Mountain North. The app is just as user unfriendly, not set-up for true mobile use or the current availability and support for iOS users is more than lacking. It is sad that it’s impossible to navigate and track schedules, standings, results, favoriting teams, etc… The ECNL and TGS sites are both just as bad and with ECNL aite you have to view everything in landscape mode and flip back and forth by turning your phone constantly to navigate the site, while still being extremely difficult to use, wry glitchy and buggy and seems that despite claiming to be mobile friendly and the app available at iOS App Store, that is is not truly or sufficiently compatible with iOS.

This app has the potential to become an incredible tool, but right now in needs more debug and optimization work. Problems: (1) it does not update uniformly across all the app features when a team score is entered. Standings tables vs games played info does not match (2) the total team points (PTS) and team points per game (PPG) need to match their uses in tables (3) app database updating is extremely slow or not happening. As an absolute minimum, updating should occur at the end of the day; real time should be the goal. (4) navigation betwee features is a bit clanky; needs to be optimized. I hope the developers take improving this app serious ... if they do, it will become a leader others will strive to emulate.

Unable to create a parent account after multiple attempts. Sometimes the account creation page would load girls teams even though I entered the boys side. Periodically the app would crash after trying to create an account. Field directions would show location on map, but there was no way to launch maps to get driving directions. Otherwise the app worked well. It would also be nice if the game details such as who scored, cards given, etc.

Have a college showcase coming up for my two girls so was a bit worried at first on access. Got it all fig’d out now. Parents get 2 free access or something. Either way I like it. It links straight to their teams so it’s pretty idiot proof for me.

Whatever change that was recently made to this app was not an improvement. I have been unable to login to my parent account after trying multiple things. It accepts the password and then a loading screen just spins. I’ve left it for 30 min with no fix. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times with no success. The app just freezes in the loading area and is unusable.

I Was directed to app by twitter post when seeking scores for 2022 boys nationals. Got on the app, navigate to boys and then nationals and just like on the web, scores are not on the main menu. On the web in a very lame and weal config, you are sent to a Static excel spreadsheet to see scores. I thought, ok, they spent, development resources on the app. Got the app, same issue, no scores on the main menu. We all know we usually can get scores from schedule but here, no. Very weak. Shocking in fact.

It keeps crashing sometimes or either the links wont open

Too many clicks to find what you’re looking for and match results aren’t posted real-time. Some matches are posted for weeks after they’re played. Teams should be given some reasonable time frame to post the results of a game. If a team misses the post date and time, 0.5 should be subtracted from the teams GD each day the team is late.

This is such a great way to keep up with these ECNL programs when it works. The app only allows you to open to one page before it crashes. I so wish they could fix this because there’s nothing like being able to track the progress of teams from all over the country. Please fix it🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Associating a parent account with an athlete account doesn’t persist. My son and I have to go through the entire process every time I log into the app. Extremely frustrating experience. Better off using the website to view standings/schedules despite the website’s mobile rendering / layout issues.

Like many, the app is completely useless now. It wants you to pay for some dumb membership to access public information. Tried to create a parent account; nope, can’t do that. What a joke. I used this app last year and it was okay; now it is just straight garbage. Just another money grab and nothing else. I wouldn’t pay this organization another dime.

When it was non responsive, I think they were removing all 22-23 games and getting ready for 23-24 season. Good to go again!

Why do I have to enter a lot of information and enter a passcode each time I open the app? I have attached two kids and still have to do it. One star. Your website is not mobile optimized to view schedule information either. It is harder to view a soccer schedule than to log into a banking app.

I have been playing and coaching club soccer for 20+ years of my life.. so grateful there’s finally a digital platform that connects everything together.

Games scores sometimes show up several hours later and others times not at all. Half the games in the U14 division have no score from the previous weekend and it is almost a week later. This would be a nice way to keep up with teams if it actually was updated on a regular basis once the game is complete. Please fix the process.

The most recent update to this app says that the unfollow team feature was fixed. It is not! Still impossible to unfollow a team

This app is so helpful when looking for games and keeps us update on game changes.

Y’all need to get the favorite teams sorted out so it doesn’t take 3 minutes to find your team. Other than that good.

This app no longer works. In the past it did, no issues most of last year, now it ask you to log in, it will give an droit message saying your email or password are wrong…recreate and try again same thing. I see others with the same complaint.

Launches asks me to rate the app, I decline, draws the ECNL logo background and then that’s it. No controls, no way to interact, you must force quit. I suspect you can see these problems on the iPad simulator in xCode should not be hard to figure out, but definitely does not work at all on iPad. Works well on iPhone.

I have an account as a parent and I keep having to validate my account through my wife’s email. It makes it frustrating to have to have an email sent to my wife so that I can see the times for my son’s games. Also, the calendar sync for games is not working.

The latest changes to the app were great, and I enjoyed using it. However, the latest update changed all that. Now the app stays stuck on the initial loading screen when you try to use it.

I wish there was a zero star. Nothing works for this app. The ecnl website is just as bad. Every time you click the back button, you have to redo all the filters again, you can even do a open as new tab. High school kids can do a better web site!

The app recently went through an update we assume for player privacy reason. Unfortunately, we now have to login and re-register our account at EVERY login. Same info is on the website without having to login.

I cannot constantly get activation codes sent to my daughter‘s email when I’m trying to check in the team as team manager. This app is clearly not working and it needs to be fixed. Version 6.0 and version 7.0 did nothing.

It used to be a good app to be able to follow other teams that you support. Then about a month ago they now require every user to pay to be able to access it. Not worth a dime now.

The update has made this app completely useless. It is so bad I had to delete it. Despite having two players with TGS accounts the app makes me go through a verification process every time I attempt to log in. There is no support for the app either.

Why on earth would they turn this into a paid subscription app? This is for the schedule and scores and now you have to pay a monthly fee. Well guess I’ll clear some space on my iPhone because I’m not paying to get a schedule.

Ever since you all have done the update, my app doesn’t let me sign in. And I have to re-download it just to open it again. I have an account with athlete one and am paid. But it keeps kicking me off. Please fix this issue!

I have no idea what the league is trying to do with this app. You can’t even go beyond the Home Screen unless you sign in. All I want to check is schedule and standings, which is public on their website anyways. Completely useless.

The app no longer loads after the recent update. It literally does nothing. The website isn’t the most user friendly either…so frustrating. Way to make it the most complicated.
